EIGRP: Package ourselves ignored

I did a debug eigrp neighbors, and I got the message "EIGRP: package ourselves ignored" every 5 seconds. I found that I could get rid of it through the passive loopback interface. So is this just cosmetic, or is it considered good practice to make passive loopback interfaces? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

I see only one single factor that could be a con to passive looping with EIGRP. If you make the passive interface it does not appear when you show ip eigrp interface. (and if it's really a con will depend on your point of view) I see several factors pro. If the closure is not passive, EIGRP will build and try to send (or perhaps based on your results I should say sends) a Hello packet to itself and are preparing to attempt to build a contiguity. Of course the adjacency will never do. So if you're passive looping you will gain a number of overhead.

If you include a network for looping statement, but liabilities of closure it is always announced that according to me is the main reason to enroll him in EIGRP. If we get the main advantage and can save some overhead so I guess maybe it's bordered on being a best practice. (Although I must admit that most of the configs I do not have passive looping. "So I do not believe very strongly in this subject being recommended.)

  • Use creation to read alternating channels and data

I have a csv file that I am trying to create a use. The help file says that if I specify a line in the form of data, then all subsequent lines must also be given.

The first line of my file is a header parameter names of test. I would like these are the names of channel for the actual data (parameter values) that follow on the next line.

Then I have a blank line, then a line with my main data channel names. The following lines are then the main actual data.

I'm sure I need a VBScript to do this, but am a little to get something that works based on examples that I found on the shelf.

I want to bring in the header data in the data portal so that I can put some of them together with graphs in my reports.

I have attached a sample data file. Also, I would generally ignore some of the columns of data (in this case, columns 3 to 10)

    Thanks for your suggestions!

    Hi Greg_Gran-

I have attached a personalized use which will be structured according to your posted example files and will ignore the third to the tenth data channels.

To use the use, simply unzip the cover record attached to your hard drive.  Double-click the *.uri file that is included to register for use with your computer.  Once you get the registration successful dialog box, you will be able to load your data files.  Because CSV is a format of generic file with many variations, you may need to push the priority of this particular use for the *. "" "Extension CSV through DIAdem NAVIGATOR" settings "My DataFinder ' configure ' menu File Extensions so that this use is always used instead of the other *. DataPlugins CSV.

I didn't know if you wanted to ignore the third to the tenth of all columns of data or from time to time, so I built a small hook in the use that will allow you to adjust the 'package' of ignored channels (e.g.: 3-10, 1-5, 21-30).  To change the range of the use know when loading:

      1. Select the NAVIGATOR tiara.

      2. "" "Select Settings ' Options ' Extensions ' DataPlugins.

      3. Right-click the use of Greg_Gran_CSV, and then select Edit the Script.

      4. In line 5 of the use, the variable "Ignore" is defined as a one-dimensional two values (3 and 10) table.  These are the upper and lower values defining the range of the data channels to ignore.  To load all the data, change the value (or both) - 1.

      5. Save the use.

As I had only a single file to test with, I can't guarantee that there will be problems with your other files - let me know if you encounter any problems or if you have any other questions.

  • Smartphone blackBerry OS upgrade issues

I'm looking for a version upgrade of the os official and ran across this site Web ATT...

    BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.298 (Multilingual)

    Package Version: 4.6.0.298
    Composed of:

    • Applications: 4.6.0.167
    • Software platform: 4.0.0.157
    • File name: 9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel298_PL4.0.0.157_A4.6.0.167_AT & T .exe
    • File size: 93,32 MB

My questions are... EST.298 just a multilingual os which is built sur.167?

If I download, I get anything different from what I already have and it will show when I look at the 'about' under 'options '?

If it's just a language package, should I update?

    Thoughts?

    Thank you

    Russ

    1. what OS you have on your "BOLD" now? Look at the Options > on.

2 4.6.0.298 is the version of the package. Ignore simply that, for this purpose... consult the version 4.6.0.167 Applications.

    3. I believe that all the OSs offered by ATT (for the most part) are multilingual. They (RIM or ATT) do not provide OS new features just because they added a new language. The new versions offer bug fixes and glitch and or some other improvements.

  • Is there such thing as a free trial of the packer of creative cloud?

I work with a public school system, and our school is interested in order Adobe Creative Cloud desktop applications and evaluate.  I'm working on device management team, and I was wondering if it would be possible to have access to the Packer, so we can provide our thoughts on this.

Honestly, I must confess that I am not really concerned about the software itself.  (The resulting package may be expired or expire in a day - I'm just trying to document the steps in the software package ourselves and get some hands on experience with it).  We use SCCM, absolute and Casper - the part that we are interested in right now is mostly SCCM.  (I understand that this purchase would be aimed for Windows machines.)

Any lucky I can take a pic?

    Thank you

    Bill

There is no such package trial right now.

  • Activation of newspaper "ignored packages" for Windows Firewall

Can someone tell me please how to activate "ignored packages" journal of WF in Windows 7 Home Premium.  In the settings of Windows Firewall and Adanced security, surveillance, saving settings; It shows the path to the file and that it is not currently logging.  The only way I found to enable this is in GP Management Console which I don't believe that has this version of Windows.
    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc947815 (WS.10) .aspx
In the end, I try to understand why people can't get to my FTP on a non standard port when Windows Firewall is turned on even with the exception of the allow on this port and 20 for outgoing.

Thanks for the quick response.  Although I didn't change the size of the log file, the article you sent had a section on the activation of the firewall log.  The answer that I needed.

netsh firewall set logging droppedpackets = enable

  • 30EA2 - new package ignores the new option Source case

The checkbox to Add a new Source to lowercase in the dialog box new package seems to have no effect: it is always uppercase.

This used to work properly in 2.1.

She is already known or fixed, although the fix to ai2 :-(

  • How to exclude (ignore) some files to be packaged in the ears/wars

We need to be able to ignore certain files AND folders (and their contents). It must also be by default so that we will not have to manually uncheck this teaching time. There is a single model to these files, because they are just artifacts SCM (for example: files in each directory .svn). How can present us EAR files so that they always ignore these ".svn" directories by default?

Change the deployment profile to your EAR - under file groups, you will see a section called filters and there you have templates that you can apply.

  • DMVPN Tunnel and EIGRP routing problem

I have redundant paths to a remote 2811 router on my network of sites.  The first links is a T1 frame relay connection that has been in place for years, and the new link is on a 54 Mbps fixed wireless that was recently created.

I'm under EIGRP to my process of routing protocol 100 for the two links.

I installed a DMVPN Tunnel between the remote 2811 and no. 2851 router on my host site.  The tunnel interface shows to the top and to the top of both sides and I can ping the IP remote tunnel of my networks side host.

However my eigrp routes are not spread over this new tunnel link and if I run a command show ip eigrp neighbor on each router I show only the neighbor for the frame relay link and not the new wireless link.

    What I'm missing here?

A tunnel0 to see the shows the following:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages do not install correctly.

I recently built a low buget of range, PC game for my sister, so she can play games like the Sims 4.

After you install a copy of Windows and the drivers, I have installed some games and programs she wanted.

Most of the program works correctly, but the Sims 4 does not work. It gives the error of "msvcr100.dll is not found, re-installing the application may fix this problem". I think that means that Visual C++ Redistributable is not installed, but all the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages 2005-2015 (32 and 64 bit) are installed.

I tried to reinstall the packages, they did successfully,

I tried to reinstall the game,

I tried to run the packages again, and they said they were already installed on the system,

I tried to use Windows update,

but none of these methods worked.

    Specifications of the PC are:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

    4 GB RAM DDR3

    GeForce GT 240 (1 GB GDDR5)

    Windows 7 Pro (64 bit)

    HARD DRIVE 320 GB

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem you are facing problem with Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages that failed to install properly. Try the steps below and see if it helps.

    Method 1

You can try the steps from the following link and check if it works, you can ignore the steps that you have already tried.

    Problems with installing updates

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/troubleshoot-problems-with-installing-updates

    Method 2

If the problem persists I suggest to reset the Windows Update components and for this, try to run the fixit described in the following article.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058/en-us#LetMeFixItMyselfAlways

    Method 3

If after completing the two steps issue persists try to perform the clean boot and temporarily disable security software , then check to install the updates.

Step 1: Perform the clean boot

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

Note: See "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

    Step 2: Disable Antivirus

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

    Step 3: Download the update

Download the updates manually from the link provided below.

MFC Package security update Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=26368

MFC Package security update Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=26347

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

    Kind regards

  • question of package ID for an existing application

    Hello
I can't update my version of the application because of the question 'ID of Package must match ID of Package in the bundle of original file.

I recently updated my laptop and after the upgrade, I published an update and it has been accepted by the world of BB. Its a few months since my last update. I have a new update to my candidacy and now I'm stuck in the question above.

My BBIDToken has expired, so I'm a new to the dev site. saved in a location, and then run the script of "blackberry-signatory" to connect my bbid with KSB files. running the script says ' Info: CSK connected successfully to BBID' but after cleaning and re - compile, file bar is not always be accepted by the world of BB.

I checked my name-package and it corresponds, however, package-id is not, that is the question. I have files from previous bar, can be used in some way to extract the information needed to get the update?

Also, I used 'restore' option in the Configuration of signature BlackBerry with a zip file consisting of barsigner.csk, barsigner.db and author.p12.

BTW, I followed the steps on http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Native-Development/Help-Package-ID-must-match-Package-ID-in-o... but no luck.

    Please suggest.

Step 3 must be done once, before starting to use a token created in your BlackBerry ID account  Do you have applications using key method (CSJ) that is earlier than chips BlackBerry code signing ID?  Initially link to your BlackBerry ID Token when you installed everything first he?

By default, the tools uses a BlackBerry ID token if it is present, ignoring the code signing key.  If you have installed the token, signed, and then linked to your previous code signing keys, it would change the package author Id of the BlackBerry ID account to match the original code signing key account.  This could have happened?

Send me a private message with your package-author-Id of your original file BAR and I can watch the account used to sign.

  • EIGRP UPDATE

    Hi people,

I have problems understanding the process of EIGRP update.  A word containing document to a Wireshark capture screenshots, is attached.  Please, take a look at them and offer your thought.  Thank you.

    Hello.

Draft RFC Cisco recently released for EIGRP, where you can find all the answers - https://www.ietf.org/id/draft-savage-eigrp-04.txt

    Basically:

    • section 5.3.3 - 4 says about INIT-flag to start the process of initial update (NULL INIT-package);
    • next hop is 0.0.0.0 - means we use Neighbor IP address as the next hop (that we can announce another figuring the next hop IP address);
    • update of unicast retransmission may come, 192.168.1.2 did not recognize multicast update (in this case, we spend in unicast mode).

Ps1: I would say that you are testing EIGRP on 15.2 + free, as the project is most likely covers the latest version.

PS2: If you repeat the test with 15.2 + version, please attach file OCAP and your questions.

  • Site talk multihomed won't neighborships EIGRP on both lines

    Hi all

This problem has been stripping my cabbage for about a week now. I have a lot of sites spoke on the seat. We have two routers in hub acting as primary and backup for all sites, a 13Mb SDSL and a 2 MB SDSL respectively. Exclusively use the GRE and IPSEC tunnels on (most) tunnels. All websites spoke (except one) are connecting using the standard ADSL.

I have a site that has a very bad connection to improve things for them, I try to use two ADSL connections and balance their.

To keep things simple, I try only to enable connections to our main router at this time and I do not use IPSEC, but either.

    Here is the problem.

I get only a close relationship, forming a tunnel at the same time. If I stopped this tunnel, the other neighbor is shaping up and I can re - turn on the first tunnel, but it will not form a new neighbourhood.

The info that tells me more about what goes wrong is the following:

    SH ip strategy nei

Neighbors of the EIGRP intellectual property for process 6001

H address Interface Hold Uptime SRTT RTO Q Seq

    (s) (ms) NTC Num

    1 172.20.64.1 Tu0 13 00:00:01 1 2000 2-0

    0 172.20.65.1 Tu2 11 18:41:07 55 390 0 752649

The number of queue for the tunnel where the neighborhood is trying to shape and fault is always 2. No Hellos are received at the end. Hellos are received from the other end and, in fact, the neighborhood to do, but then it gets expired after receipt without Hellos. OTN goes to 5000 and then after the retry timer is sinking, the relationship fell, a new Hello is received and the relationship is recalculated. This causes my hell EIGRP as you can imagine.

Ive applied lists to distribute to the tunnels and tried to use static routes. I also tried statically assigning the neighbors with the neighbor command. No dice.

The two ADSL connections have the same IP next - hop to the ISP. This would prevent neighbors forming?

I downloaded the relevant parts of the config and the routing table also the router (cleaned). For completeness, Ive included all distribution-list commands that Ive tried but Ive used in combination and all together, as well as without them at all.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Your slow-going-mad network administrator,

    Paul

    Paul,

When you add these commands to key tunnel , could you at least check that the tunnels will work, i.e. were you able to ping to the opposite tunnel address?

I don't think that you can debug the EIGRP queue directly. You can debug are packages individual EIGRP, i.e. broadcasts of update, Ack, request, response, and EIGRP. It would be eigrp packets laconic retry to debug

If you're ready to make debugging more involved, I would suggest creating an ACL extended with entries of the corresponding permit GRE traffic between your router and the router of the headquarters in a sense is and EIGRP traffic on this tunnel and execution to debug the package ip N where N is the number of this ACL. Please note that if these GRE tunnels are currently all traffic beyond EIGRP, this debugging is not recommended because there is a LOT of output.

I wonder... is - this by all possible means that some of the addresses of the tunnel endpoint (i.e. tunnel source and tunnel destination) are advertised to EIGRP through these tunnels? This would cause a recursive routing entry, enough like the beat you are currently experiencing. How is the accessibility of endpoints tunnel completed in your routing table - is it via a default route? In order to foolproofness, I suggest you add static/32 routes for both routers (talks and head of bed) that contains the IP address of endpoint opposite tunnel, via the appropriate next hop.

    Strange problem indeed!

    Best regards

    Peter
