Eject the CD/DVD of VAPP model

Hello

I create a Template of vApp to vCloud Director but I forgot eject the ISO after the installation of the OS.  Now each TIME that is created from the template has the ISO inserted.  Is it possible to fix the vapp model?  I know I can manually eject the ISO of each new VAPP create but I want to be able to eject the ISO vapp model so that the sous-suite vApps clone that has no ISO inserted.

The vApp model is now in a catalog that I'm not able to turn it on to eject the ISO.

Thank you

You cannot modify a virtual machine in the vCloud Director 5.1.x catalogue and more.  You will need to copy in my cloud, modification, and then return to the catalogue of capture.

Are looking at something like that in the future (editing patterns).

    I watched a dvd on my computer. Now, the disk won't work. I tried to hit the eject button on my computer, I tried going to computer, hit the button for the disc and then hitting eject. I also tried the thing of a paper clip. I've never had this problem before. What should I do?

    leopardclaw,
    The disc is always running or is he arrested?  If it runs at all times, he won't allow the disc to be ejected.  What software you used to watch the movie?  Have you tried to load the software to see if the film will play?  Then you can tell him to stop and eject the disc.  If the disc does not turn, go into Device Manager and see if it sees the drive and if it has no exclamation mark above him.  Try reinstalling the driver to see if that gets the drive works again.  If it does not, and does not appear in Device Manager, it is possible that the player has gone wrong and you may need to get a computer tech to look at it.

  • Eject the CD/DVD/HDD?

    Hello:

    My new Inspiron 3847 arrived this week, and I use it for the first time.

    It was quite difficult to find the hard drive, once I found it behind the super secret backdoor, I put in the disk of driver provided with the computer monitor.

    Now, I want to install my printer, but I can't find any way to open the hard drive.

    I searched the forums and found that I need to press 'Function + F4' to eject a disc.  What happened to the button "Eject" on the hard drive itself?

    Anyway, I can't find a 'Function' button on my new Dell keyboard.  I know that I bought a model of economy, but the "Function" button was not yet available when I ordered the system.

    In the same sense, I know that the 'Crescent Moon' button above the button 'Clear' keypad not a nor order. But there it is. Fortunately, this one is not connected to anything, because nothing happens when I push it.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?  I really don't want to go with the way "of a paper clip in pinhole".

    Thank you

    Try F12 - opens the drawer.  Or, look for the icon of the drive in the applet on the computer and right click on the DVD drive - there is an eject option.

  • Satellite A300 - is not eject the CD/DVD drive

    I have exactly the same problem with my 4 month Satellite A300. Every now and then and apparently without cause, the CD-ROM drive (Mat * a DVD - RAM) refuses to open. The little light near the eject button flickers when the button is pressed, but nothing. It will do if the drive is empty or not. Device Manager can see the disk and claims that it works correctly and that the driver is up-to-date. But if, for example, I display open with a trombone player and load a DVD, ImageBurn (which could also see the drive) calls for a communication error (e/s).

    Nothing seems to make the drive to work once he got into this State with the exception of a reboot, and even in this case we know remain 'dead' until a second reboot.

    I followed the instructions on [this site | http://www.randomfix.com/2007/04/12/windows-vista-%E2%80%93-missing-cddvd-rom-drive/] and the disc looked good for three days, then made his old trick. I checked the registry and the filters that I removed is still deleted. I uninstalled the drive via the Device Manager and let Vista find again to restart. Everything worked fine for 24 hours then the problem comes back.

    When the drive opens the button it works perfectly in all ways music - reading, writing, start, DVD...

    Very frustrating.

    The above post was originally a response on an existing thread, so I don't know where the rest disappeared. And I can't change it. This forum works as well as laptops.

  • Connect the external DVD player to Satelite Z930

    Hello world

    I recently bought a Toshiba external dvd drive, which officially supports win7 and Vista (no mention of 8) of the brand.

    The external dvd drive is model PA3834A-1DV2 aka Portable SuperMulti Drive

    When I connect this drive with one or two USB connections (SuperMulti drive has 2 USB connections), there's enough power to the drive eject and spin, but the computer does not display the drive in my computer. It is displayed in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation however.

    Y at - it no formal or informal word there is a way for this device works with Windows 8 on the Z930?

    My apologies if I should have posted this in a different thread.

    Which is really strange. I have the external BD drive and it is automatically recognized by Win7 or Win8.
    You use original Win8 preinstalled that you got with your laptop or you install on your own?

  • eject the disc from the drive USB Super

    Last night I unboxed my new USB Super drive and attached to my MacBookPro. I put in a DVD of registered film and was able to start playing. Then I ejected it by clicking on the disc icon on the desktop, because I was just testing how it connected etc...  Then, I wanted to see if he could save.

    I inserted a blank DVD and he asked me to tell him what to save, but I didn't save. Instead, he presented another option, which was to IGNORE.

    So I clicked on IGNORE. As a result, there was NO ICON ON THE DESKTOP for this drive. And the text to EJECT in menu bar is grey.

    Now I am sitting here with a new USB Super with a blank CD disk stuck in it and am totally IGNORED, I asked, but what I didn't know when I asked to ignore me.

    That's the problem. I disconnected, signed back in, and he has not yet cleared my instructions to ignore. So I can't eject the blank DVD disc.

    Where should I go from here?

    My MacBookPro is the retina, i7, 15 '' running ElCapitan, a model community 2015, I think.  I'm not on it now, but will open it to follow the suggestions for help. I'm a new converted to Apple, computing, coming from Windows, so I need the regular basic directions. Any help is appreciated.

  • Workflow to deploy several vApps model

    Hi all.  We have a new vCO + vCD 5.1 setting up the environment in my organization and I want to implement a simple workflow to Instatiate X number of vApps from a chosen model.

    I'm a total noob/newbie here.  The workflow library 'Instantiate VAPP model', that's exactly what I want it to do, but for only a paralytic.

    Guidelines of thoughts as to what high level steps, I would need to take to customize this workflow for a number of times on the basis of "loop"?

    It is quite easy to add a new entry and the introduction screen to enter the number of the user, but I really have no idea where to start on the loop.

    One thing I want to avoid it is for a full to be created and launched upward VAPP and complete all tasks, and then it starts the next iteration of the loop (which would take forever).  I would prefer instantiate the full number of vapps together and wait that fill them all, and then move to their departure at the same time and wait for all the startups end.

    Any ideas or advice on how to come to this?  (once again, total noob).

    Thank you, in advance!

    Here are step by step instructions on the top of my head. There are certainly other ways easier to do.

    Create a workflow.

    Do drag & drop the instantiate a workflow of VAPP model

    Right click / Copy presentation wf.

    -> You have wrapped the instantiate workflow in a parent workflow.

    You can now remove the instantiate a workflow of VAPP model from a schema because we ask it with a different way.

    Add the workflow 'Start the workflow at the same time' to your schema. Bind its entries 'wf' and 'settings' with the creation of new attributes of workflow. Settings, we don't have to be defined. To the ICF one set with the I ' nstantiate a VAPP model "workflow."

    Add a script task. In this task scriptable entries add all entries in your workflow.

    Create a 'number' entry in your workflow. Add it as well as your task scriptable entry.

    Add an output to your box of scriptable and assign the attribute "settings".

    We now need an array of input parameters to feed our workflows.

    parameters = new Array();

    for (var i = 0; i)

    var wfInputParameters = new Properties ();

    wfInputParameters.put ("vAppTemplate", vAppTemplate);

    wfInputParameters.put ("vdc", vdc);

    wfInputParameters.put ("name", name + number);

    wfInputParameters.put ("description", description);

    wfInputParameters.put ("deploy", deploy);

    wfInputParameters.put ("powerOn", powerOn);

    wfInputParameters.put ("eulaAccepted", eulaAccepted);

    wfInputParameters.put ("runtimeLeaseHours", runtimeLeaseHours);

    wfInputParameters.put ("storageLeaseHours", storageLeaseHours);

    wfInputParameters.put ("linkedCLone", linkedCLone);

    Parameters.push (wfInputParameters)

    }

    On the diagram, you should link.start-> special sriptable-> beginning of the workflows in parallel

    Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
    Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
    This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
    slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

  • Unable to add data to the Virgin DVD + RW double layer after having ejected backup problem.

    Did a backup using DVD + R double layer, and after having ejected the last media due to clerical error, I can no longer continue the backup due to the error: insert a disc - it seems that my hardware is no longer detect dual layer blank media. Works great on regular blank media 4.7 GB.

    Hi sal69,

    This problem is caused by physical limitations in DL (Double Layer) media. These limitations prevent any real use multisession. When the media is ejected, the disc session may be closed for DVD-ROM compatibility. On these discs, DVD-ROM compatibility is achieved only when the disc is complete. When the disc is finished, it is closed forever. The physical characteristics of the media require two layers will be burned so that the disc can be played in a DVD player. The two layers can be burned only by closing the disc. As soon as the disc is closed, no additional data can be added to him.
