  a client running a small cluster of vSphere Standard 6 two nodes. Each server has three warehouses of data, both with ~ 400 GB and a data with 18 to store.

  Each course ESXi has a HP StoreVirtual VSA, residing in Datastore2 and each VSA has a 300 GB VMDK attached. The ASB are used to provide a small 250 GB shared VMFS. VMFS are all version 5.61 and they are not updated since previous versions of VMFS.

  Today, I tried to protect a computer virtual with VMware FT. The configuration of this virtual machine, call the VM1, is stored in a shared VMFS data store. VMDK data is stored in ESX1 -Datastore3. During the FT of the vSphere Web Client configuration dialog, I chose the datastore to VMFS shared for secondary VMX VMs and the switch file. The VMDK of data must be stored in ESX2-Datastore3. I finished the configuration dialog box and everything was fine. A few seconds later the virtual machine was protected by VMware FT. I removed the IP protection and added VMDK to provide 16 TB (8 x 2 TB VMDK, SCSI0:3 until SCSI0:10). I went through the dialog box Configuration FT vsphere Web Client, I chose the VMFS shared for secondary VMX VMs and file to separate again. The VMDK of data must be stored in ESX2-Datastore3. A few seconds later, an error has arisen ESX2-Datastore3 has insufficient disk space, and so the secondary image on ESX2 VM could not start. Just to be clear: 16 TB were allocated in ESX2-Datastore3, and 2 TB were free. And VMDK data were stored in the file ESX2-Datastore3, no Exchange or similar. All the other data stores also had sufficient disk space. I disabled it FT, removed one the 2 TB VMDK and tried again. And again, I have been informed that ESX2-Datastore3 does not provide sufficient free space on the disk, in order to respond to my request to start the secondary virtual machine. With 4 x 2 TB VMDK (and two VMDK for operating system and applications, so in summary 6 vmdk) and in the amount of 8 TB, the secondary VM was able to start. I added a 5th 2 TB VMDK and again the secondary VM could not start.

  My question is: why? I know that I can use only 2 TB. VMKDs no problem. But why can't add more than 4 x 2 TB VMDK? Maximum configuration for ESXi 6 told me I can have up to 16 disks with VMware FT. Is there a maximum storage limit that can be added to a virtual (e.g. 8TB) machine

  You can tell your client:

  • This behavior is a defect.
  • VMware has reproduced it is internal and is currently working on solutions.
  • The only way to get this to work at the same time, it is that the data store that contains the secondary VMDK must have at least as much free space as the size of the VMDK (in other words, the free space above the space needed to store the secondary VMDK themselves).  So in your specific customer scenario, if data warehouses were 32 TB or more, then he could add the 16 worth of storage to the virtual machine.

  Essentially, you must edit the csv in an editor of spreadsheet or csv file to make it compatible with the address book of TB.

  Please help - I have a blackberry 9720 and was happy with T-mobile on December 31, 2015, T-mobile sent me a text with my PAC code, I stupidly had another phone under contract elsewhere, I do not have with the new phone has so cancelled the contract and returned the phone within 3 days, my T-mobile Blackberry services were always - so I waited for the CIP code to recover my phone number.     However on December 7, T-mobile blackberry services cut off, I immediately called them and explained the situation, asking to be reconnected.  I was told that I have to go buy a new sim card and they will sort it.  I did so, but now only EE available sims.  I called and they assured me Blackberry data package added to my phone - but nothing works and the host Routing Table is empty.  So for the past 8 days, told me to connect the phone to Blackberry Desktop manager, uninstall, reinstall, 100's of reboots, 100 registry routing host messages sent but STILL NOTHING, I was able to get into my Blackberry ID, but emails say cannot connect to the server and BBM remains on a blue screen.  It is so annoying as 8 days now of mucking around but still no access to Blackberry services.  EE say everything is OK from their end, but they can't pick up my blackberry, they tried to say lack of phone but phone was purchased from T-mobile, and up to 7 December worked perfectly.  Friends and family have put their sim in and phone and blackberry works. The spindle is* edited for the protection of personal information.  They refuse to reactivate the SIM that I still have and say what EA is the same as T-mobile, although their packages say different.

  I'm just trying to see if an INI file exists, so I created the following excerpt:

  When I run the program of LV with C:\test.ini, my indicators come out as NaN/Path? : false, NaN/Refnum? : true

  I tried to interpret as (1) a path valid (this file exists) and (2) a refnum does not exist (even if the refnum came from a sub - VI provided by LV).

  I then replaced by control (find file) C:\test.in (sliced final 'i') and the two indicators gave me the same results. That really impressed my first interpretation, and I can't come up with anything else that makes sense.

  Thus, for paths and refnums, what happens here, if anything?

  I saw that the second test threw an error of the Sub - VI 'Open Data of Config', so I can use it for my test, but I would like to know if the NaN... function is actually good for something other than numbers. If this isn't the case, IMHO LV should change its designation on the pallet.

  That you use in a puzzling oddity of LabVIEW refnums. To check if a configuration file refnum is valid, you must not use "a given Config Refnum.vi" in the range of screw Configuration file. The ' NaN/path/Refnum?' function works only for refnum types that are built-in LabVIEW, such as queues, TCP sockets and file references. The screw configuration file are built in LabVIEW, LabVIEW rather than integrated and refnums they use are not 'real' refnums in terms of LabVIEW, they are just data wrapped as reference datalog (something for the creation of unique types of pseudo-refnum). You will see several other pallets which also includes their own functions in order to check whether a refnum is valid, such as pallets of semaphores and appointment management.

  So you can install 16 concerts but the system will downclock it at 1333 mhz. unless you're doing very specific heavy dependent memory computer like video editing or compilation of heavy Code that I would stick with 8 GB running at 1600. Curiously, installation 16 concerts could actually slow down the computer a little if you do not actually more than 8 GB, which most people are not.

• How to read the larger than messages of 8 bytes from a NMEA 2000 using XNET bus?

  I currently read data from the GPS19x NMEA 2000 Garmin with CAN connection using a NI 9862 in 9178 NI cDAQ chassis.  I have the dbc file and have generated a session with some messages of interest groups.  However, only with not more than 8 bytes (DLC) message groups are visible in the session configuration wizard.   Other messages of interest have the DLC set to a number greater than 8, interest is set to 51.  Reading some information on NI.com, LabView does not support the CAN message to groups of more than 8 bytes.  Closer information says that messages must be broken into small groups.

  Does anyone know how to break messages into small groups or someone has code, they are willing to share where this constraint is resolved?

  E0... E3 -identifiers of package, where E is a sequence identifier (note1: this is the same in all frames of the sequence) and 0.3 are identifiers of frames in the sequence of Fast Packet.

  17 represent the amount of data to send.

  Note2: the busy sequence 3-byte identifier (mask: data [0] & 0xE0), and the number of sequence point busy 5 bytes (hide the data [0] & 0x1F).

  So finally we have our 223 bytes as the maximum data length to send via Fast Packet: 1F * 7 = 217 bytes + 6 bytes (first image) = 223.

  Bytes of end filled with FF - I know not yet, if it is the requirement of fast-packet or functionality of library CAN only 3rd party.
