• How can I change my password on EL Capitan mail 9.2

  I'm under El Capitan and using Mail to get to my iCloud and Yahoo mail.  And the account settings no longer has a field "password".  It does not exist in the e-mail settings, or internet preferences.  Where can I find the place to update and change my password for my iCloud email and my Yahoo email for messaging 9.2 El Capitan running?  Help, please.  Thank you.  I don't understand why the field of password feature is not included in all aspects of establishing an email account in account preferences.  It should be so simple - as it was yesterday before the upgrade to the top of El Capitan.

  To change the password in El Capitan Mail 9.2, you could do a little weird way:

  Mail / preferences / accounts / Account Information / Server outgoing (SMTP) mail / change the list of SMTP servers / (choose the account you want to update), at the bottom of the window:

  User name:...

  Password:...

  It's viable work around me for my Gmail accounts. I hope it help you too!

When I click on it it goes to a screen color spalsh with the icon in the Center and then pop right back to start metro. / Someone said look in UPDATES to an application to download applications. / He wasn't there even after that I went to the store, click on settings then apps update charm. She did not see that MAIL, CALENDAR, etc. was necessary.

  3. so I thought that if I uninstalled the tiles for MS apps it can then discover or show me they have new avialable.  This is not the case.

  4 so I'm stuck here how to get the tiles with the apps to work?

  I tried to write my signature in this area on the screen, but it doesn't seem to work? : v lol

  The solution was that I did a REFRESH of Windows 8.  Agreed that I had to use a MS accout for MAIL, CALENDAR snd PEOPLE activated.  After the UPDATE, which removes all of your added applications, but saves your files and your information, I was able to use the present TILES on the Start Page of Metro

  It was a back door solution but at least it got me through all this. It is a solution of sorts!  Jack

• BlackBerry Smartphone Sync Windows Mail calendar

  I am new to these forums and bought my first blackberry and I need help! I am on Windows Vista and use Windows Mail for my mail, calendar and contacts. Using BlackBerry desktop manager 5.0.1 version I was able to sync contacts from my blackberry, but I can't sync the calendar. When I followed the steps to set up the synchronization - for the calendar, that the option of windows messaging is not listed - yet it was listed there for contacts.

  Please can someone help, I spent hours trying to figure this out!

• Windows 8 Mail/calendar/people and Windows Store numbers

  My laptop is running Windows 8, and a few months ago some applications and features stopped working.

  There are mainly 2 questions:

  1. my store of Windows has stopped working.

  On the home screen, the application itself shows apps recommended as it normally does. However, when I try to open it, I get the message "we could not connect to the Bank. This could have happened due to a problem with the server, or the network connection has expired. Please wait a few minutes and try again. "I know that's not the connection to the network itself, because we got an update of the modem Wi - Fi from our supplier, there is a week, and this problem happened long before that.

  2. my applications Mail, calendar, and people I cannot connect

  When I open one of these applications, I am invited to check my Microsoft account info by entering my password (I'm positive is correct). I enter the password, and a message appears. «We're having connection problems you.» Try again in a few minutes. "This happens with all three applications, and I still have to enter. Note: They all worked normally up to what a few months.

  I'd appreciate any help in this regard. All this is very frustrating.

  Read it in conjunction with the rest of the information they give link above.

  Note

  If SFC could not fix something, then run the new command to see if it can be able to next time. Sometimes, it can take by running the sfc/scannow command 3 times restart the PC after each time completely fix everything what he is capable of.

  If not, then run the Dism/online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command to repair damage to the component store,

  Restart the PC afterwards, and then retry the command sfc/scannow .

  If still no, then try using ONE OPTION above to run the command sfc/scannow at the start

  If still no, then you could do a Refresh of Windows 8, or run a System Restore using a restore point dated before the wrong file occurred to fix. You may need to repeat doing a restore of the system until you find a restore point that is older that may work.

  If not yet, then you can use the steps in the TIP box in the section THREE OPTION to manually replace the files SFC could not fix.

  Refresh your PC goes like this:

  • The PC starts in Windows RE (Recovery Eenvironment).
  • Windows RE scans the hard drive for your data, settings, and applications and puts them aside (on the same drive).
  • Windows RE installs a new copy of Windows.
  • Windows RE restores the data, settings, and applications, which it set aside in the newly installed copy of Windows.
  • The PC reboots into the newly installed copy of Windows.

  According to the description, you are having problems with the calendar application get lost.

  You can re-install mail, calendar, people, and messaging App on Windows Store and check if it helps.

  Uninstall and then reinstall mail, calendar, people, and e-mail and see if it helps.
  a: right click on the application of messaging, e-mail and people respectively, and then click Uninstall .
  b: then click on the Windows key + Q to open the search box.
  c: then click on store and then type Mail, calendar, people and mail , press ENTER.
  d: click install.

  Important:-uninstall causes app "Mail, people and mail " loss of applications and data to the Apps.

  Note: The calendar is an application that only will match in the start screen and not on the desktop.

  I suggest you try to uninstall then reinstall the messaging application by following the steps:

  Step 1:

  Follow the steps to uninstall the application:

  a. right click on the application you want to uninstall.

  b. click on uninstall in the taskbar.

  c. press the button uninstall.

  Note: Once you uninstall Mail apps will get all these applications uninstall automatically. Mail, calendar, people, and e-mail once you install any application in Mail, calendar, people, and mail all four will automatically install.

  Step 2:

  I suggest you to reinstall in the Windows store.

  a. press the Windows key and type store, click on Store.

  b. type Mail, click on Store, click on Mail, calendar, people, and e-mail.

  c. click on install.
