El Capitan prevents Adobe Bridge camera see

I've updated my iMac to El Capitan five days ago. Today, I tried to download pictures from my camera on my mac as I've done for years, but Adobe Bridge does not detect any of my Canon cameras.  Instead of the Photos window keeps popping up as I connect the camera USB cable humor.  According the Photos arise, I know that the camera is properly connected to the computer.  When can I expect an update of El Capitan to solve the problem?

On the Adobe site, I found several reports of the same problem.

My devices have not changed, said Adobe Bridge does not change, but the operating system on my mac has been updated.

It is the responsibility of Adobe to keep their products compatible with OS X, not the responsibility of Apple for the development of product of arrest pending on patches from Adobe (which may never come). Adobe has the same information that receive all sellers of OS X and chose not to update the old product bridge for compatibility. They would rather reject the fault Apple to feet and we hope that your frustration ends by subscription-ware.

Hello. Can someone tell me what is the small icon of gray circle with two arrows in there? This icon appears on the RAW image photos after opening a RAW file in Camera RAW using Adobe Bridge. When you hover over it says nothing, when you click on it, it does nothing. I'm assuming that its indicator that the RAW file has been open but side ever since that I can't understand what it represents. Can someone give an idea on that? In addition, after how is opening and editing a RAW file that the changes appear in the preview deck? Is there a way to return the preview to its original state image? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • I have a problem for editing raw images in CS6 Adobe Bridge camera

When I right click on a raw image in Bridge CS6 and choose "Open in raw" I get a slightly different edition format compared to when I double click on the same raw image.

Right click gives me the following settings options: temperature, tint, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, white, black, clarity, Vibrance and Saturation

Double click gives me a message "convert to the 2010 process.  When I click on that, I have the following setting options: temperature, tint, exposure, recovery, fill, black light, brightness, contrast, clarity, Vibrance, Saturation.

I prefer the adjustment tools provided with the right click option.  : However, after I do the image settings using this option and I click on "Open image", the image disappears and open Photoshop, but there is no picture.  I'm fairly certain that I used this option right-click before and after adjustment of the image and clicking on 'Open image' image appeared in Photoshop where I could make a further editing and/or save in JPEG.  But no more.  What is the problem?  I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you kindly in advance for your comments of support.

You should not see this difference by double-clicking just by right clicking. What you mentioned by right clicking is the old Camera Raw and is no longer used. The new way is actually much better, even if it takes a bit to use to. I didn't like it at first, but now I find much better, there are a few problems with fixes that work much better with the new method. Normally you won't get the old method, if a file has been fixed with it. You can reset the image on the failure to have the new method to take effect.

  • Why my raws look different when I view in Adobe Bridge/Adobe Camera Raw and digital P guns

    Hi all

I'm sorta new to take Raw photos and I have been using Adobe Bridge / Camera Raw to edit. When I take my photos (I use a Canon t2i) I set it to save a raw and jpg. When I find these images in Adobe Bridge / Camera Raw I notice a clear difference in the jpg and raw (I understand the concept behind raw vs jpg. If im not questioning why a different aspect) it is obvious all the adjustments that have been applied to my jpg. gross natural vs.  My question is: when I find the same two images in the software that came with my camera, professional digital photography canon, the canon and believed almost identical look... My hypothesis is that canon applies the same "adjustments" of my own as he did to jpg files?  Anyone using these two programs and noticed it work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Michelle

Canon software reads the camera in settings and those in the RAW file as the camera software, if applies so the RAW file should open looking like the JPG of the camera.  You can then make adjustments of this starting point.  Adobe and other third party software does not read all the camera in settings and apply instead a default set of conditions for the departure of starting point, which is why the initial image, you see when you open the RAW with Camera RAW file does not resemble the hearing in camera JPG.  Camera RAW's default camera profile is Adobe Standard, which is not the same as the profiles used by the camera.  Camera RAW has it for Canon 550 d camera profiles, which I believe is the same as the t2i.  Click on the camera Calibration tab in ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) and select the camera profile you selected in the camera (camera Standard, trusty camera, camera neutral, Protrait of camera or camera landscape) - all profiles listed are for the camera that took the photo.  This should give you a match much closer to what you get the camera if all other parameters of the camera are nominal values.  You can save a new default value of ACR and in future all images will be open initially using the new default values.

  • Photo Downloader Adobe Bridge recognizing only no camera after upgrading to El captain in Mac

Recently, I upgraded my Macbook Pro to El captain, since then my Adobe Bridge Photo downloader no longer recognizes my cards or camera. It is not the USB cable as iPhoto wants to quickly download photos I want to use. Anyone have any idea if it is a small problem with the new OS or would be - something else and if the former there is a fix for it soon?

Discovered Adobe Bridge CC with Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) does not work with many USB devices to import images (including iPhone).

Apple said: "the USB stack is completely redesigned to improve stability and performance compared to Mac OS 10.10. Applications and third-party drivers for vendor-specific USB devices may require modification. "This is something APPLE has changed, that I hope that Adobe can answer, because now there is no real solution. I use this work around:

    • Import images with Photos Apple app

      • Choose file > export > export Original unmodified
    • Save the files where you want
    • Batch rename the images and add metadata in Adobe Bridge

Adobe has released this technical note on the bridge issue help: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/bridge-and-el-capitan.html

It is a solution for some devices based on Android, you can change the mode of the PTP/MTP device in storage mode USB mode/mass (see the instructions on how to do this with your device provider). This article about the same problem with Photoshop Elements was given instructions: connected - https://helpx.adobe.com/elements-organizer/kb/elements-organizer-does-not-recognize-some-d mac-os-10 - 1.html

  • I can't install or uninstall Adobe program because I get a message error Adobe Bridge is open. As far as I can see that it is not.

I'm trying to install Adobe photoshop CS5 trial. I already have a version less on my computer.

I get an error message that Adobe Bridge is open, that I do not see that it is! I turned my computer off several times.
I can't uninstall the program from Adobe for the same reason, because the bridge is opened.
Can someone help me to close the bridge please?

Adobe Bridge usually starts up with the system, you will need to first disable all start programs, then attempt installation again:

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    User account control permission
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
