  He has giving you the instructions you need to do. Remove the old software and reinstall it again with the right version for the printer driver page Win10.

  Western Digital My Book Mirror 1 t connected USB 2.0

  Windows 7 Edition Home Premium 64 bit (clean install)

  Problem:

  -Won't start if the external hard drive is connected to a USB port

  -Boot freezes, the BIOS detects the drive, shows USB 2.0: WD My Book, fan gets stronger

  Tried solution:

  -Different USB ports

  -Varied, boot order first set internal hd

  -Disconnect and start continues

  -Mouse USB wireless at the same time / plug, unplug, almost worked

  Works okey if hooked up later when Windows has loaded (also works just after when it is plugged in after successful BIOS).

  My conclusion: HP BIOS/USB controller isn't working okey with WD My Book when you start the computer. If you wait about 3-4 minutes, to return to the boot. If you re-create the partition in Windows 7, you might be able to speed up the process. I have converted the MBR to GPT (Google more) and reformatted it NTFS. Reducing a starter and holds a GPT formatted, cannot be a boot disk. Now, there are about 1 min delay. If there is a switch to turn off USB Legacy support, that could help. There is not, thanks to the crappy BIOS HP. You can also seek support from Western Digital and discover interesting things.

  Then, finally, it'll pass the boot.

  The laptop has always on usb ports where you can charge a cell phone or something to the usb ports even when the computer is turned off. Those go off in the BIOS could save one percent of copuple of day to the next. You will lose some costs over time. 5-8% of the overnight is a bit much.

  Looks like you have poorly defined the keyboard layout.

  If you have more than one keyboard layout in Windows 10, you can switch between them by keeping the CTRL key and pressing the SHIFT key

  IM using Pavilion g4-2007tx and my graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 7670 M (2 GB memory DDR3 dedicated) and graphics driver version is 8.933.3.3000. last 2 weeks, I went to the site to download driver hp to see if if there any update driver my laptop en...   After the update, go to power and all set options by default.

  The update can change a parameter with power options.

  Do a hard reset.
  Turn off the computer.
  Remove the power cable and battery.
  Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth energy sources are deleted.

  This should reset the hardware in the computer.

  That you put it on press the F10 key. This will load the BIOS setup utility.
  Press F9 to load the default values.
  Press F10 to save and exit.

  When the computer starts up, check if everything is working.

  I would like to know how everything goes.
