Elements don't align layers

Hey guys,.

I'm new to photoshop and come across a problem that put an end to my project. I try to paste a layer on a more photos and perfectly align it to the top, but photoshop sucks my "mobile dash" at the edge of the photo. When she did this, I can't align it perfectly. Is there a way to disable this effect? I hope I explained my question clearly it's a difficult question to explain!

Thank you!

  1. Open the photo that will be the bottom (A). Reduce to a minimum.
  2. Open the photo (B) which you want to copy something to a. Select the object with one of the selection tools, go to Edition > copy. This will place the selection to the Clipboard

  3. Return to an image, go to Edition > paste. The selection will be on its own layer
  4. Access the move tool to move the selection and resize with the corner of the frame handles encompassing. You can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move in place.

The resolution of 2 images is probably not the same value, causing phenomenon "sucks my mobile dotted aboard".

Let us know how make you out.

  • Align layers no longer works

I've been using Align layers for a long time. Now, when my layers are highlighted and I do: Edit, automatic alignment layers, the select method, I usually select automatic, and then click OK, there is no alignment done, there is no message saying that layers are not enough (40%) or any other message. The mouse pointer seems fair. No alignment done at all. Someone else had this problem? I have not changed any settings. Automatic merging works, but me is no good if my diapers are not aligned. I also had problems with Photoshop not opening not imaged when I choose a picture edited from Lightroom. When I restart my computer, this problem is solved, but often happens again. These are the two new problems. Suggestions, etc., much appreciated.

  • Align layers to the selection within the artboard does not not in 20151114.r.301 x 64

A very annoying bug has been introduced since the last update:

If you perform the following steps in a work plan

    (1) make a selection

    (2) select a layer in the layers panel

    (3) layer > align layers to selection > (al six options)

The layer is not aligned to the selection, but to the artboard instead! Is anyone have a work around?

By aligning the selection is essential for the harmonization of layers in a drawing or model. I hope that Adobe will solve this ASAP!

    Screen Shot 2015-12-02 at 16.03.07.png

    This is a bug.

It's a side effect of change where we allowed layers be aligned with work plans parent; We does not check for an existing selection mask before allowing the artboard to be a widening of the entire alignment.

Fix is in preparation. Can't comment on the ETA for you, unfortunately. Just know that it is in the pipeline.

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

  • How to align layers based on a specific layer

    Hello.

I just watched this tutorial explaining everything by aligning the layers: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/how-to/photoshop-align-images-multiple-layers.html#

But, how do I align layers based on a specific layer? Let's say I have a layer about one-third from the left. I have 3 other layers, by going to halfway all the way to the right, I want to be centered based on this layer which is one third of the left, how should I do this? I want to use a specific layer as an anchor for the rest of the layers, regardless of the position of the layer anchor.

I hope I'm using the right words, explaining what I want to do.

    Deon

You can link layers and use one for the sorting of the anchor to speak.

Maybe if you posted a screenshot of what you want to do.

In any case, here is an example.

Select the layer, press the layers of link at the bottom of the layers panel and then click on the layer in the layers panel, you want to use as anchor.

Select the tool, then use the alignment buttons to align the blue layer in this example.

Can also be used benchmarks commented to align the layers.

  • Missing elements only on certain layers, only on certain pages, Ghost - CS6 INDD

Items on certain layers, only on certain pages, disappeared while I was working on other pages in the document.

    • The layers Panel expands to show that there are several elements on the page, but elements (text boxes and a chart area) does not visibly show up on the page. Yes, I have reviewed the "layer options" - this isn't the problem
    • I'm not able to choose them, even when the file is a visible layers. Yes, shows the symbol of the eye. These issues all come while each layer is 'on' - so it's not the problem.
    • Only 2 of the 14 layers are made... and just over 10 pages (about 308), although not all the elements on these 2 layers disappeared on these 10 pages, there are a few anomalies that has not disappeared
    • If I stick a new element in another layer, while the box is checked I can move in my "layer of problem" and the form will visibly disappear (although always register as something existing in the layers panel). As long as I do not deselect, I can move it to another layer using the layers panel, and he re - appears. If I deselect the, I can not select the question again using the selection tool or layers panel again, but it still shows that the element exists in the layers panel. I have not found a way to deal with these elements 'Phantom' again. S.O.S.!

I've never seen this problem before. At 3 other designers see it to confirm that I wasn't crazy. They never saw coming forward either.

Working on a project to design complex book... I mean here on 2200K + links images, 308 pages, 40 + master pages and 14 active layers.

Would love to no explanation for this software error.

I wish l could explain it's "human error" but I have not worked on these affected pages today. I noticed missing items when I went to review the chapter. I worked in the file all day today... and it is very disturbing: I printed these performed 10 pages late yesterday afternoon. I went to retrieve this file in time Machiene, but my backup file also had the same problem of 'ghost elements' (even if it backed up once I have printed, and the impressions were very good). I had to go all the way back to file on Monday, which was pre-re-design of these pages.

I use InDesign for 8 years and have never encountered a problem like this before. I hope that someone out there!

Is there any other object in front of him, maybe - a large empty frame filled with perhaps paper? If this isn't the case, I would say that there is probably some kind of file corruption and I save a copy in the current state as backup, and then export to .idml to see if you can clean it. See remove minor corruption by exporting

You should probably also do a Select All on the page and see if you see single-point stray objects or other objects that you do not (at the time on the screen of the page or in the layers panel). I saw maybe three cases in 8 or 9 years of single point objects with a fill assigned which caused all sorts of behavior strnge. I never managed to create on these intentionally, however.

  • FloatLeft pictures don't align

I created a page with two pictures that give me a problem. Both are defined as "floatleft".

On my computer, (crappy resolution because something is broken on my computer and I can not change the resolution), using firefox browser page seems fine. On my husband's computer (he got a mac with safar browseri and a much larger resolution), the two pictures don't align - the second is strangely indented.

I checked the code and I can't find any difference between the two.

Here is the URL if that helps:

You must add a float of compensation after the first paragraph.

  • Auto align layers of the image

You are looking for an alternative to Photoshop CS3 (because it is no longer available for me) and hoping to emigrate to photoshop elements.

Running a test print but find a feature I use a lot that seems to be missing... or at least severely restricted as far as I can understand.

I want to be able to auto align different (although visually similar) images in several layers in a single document so that each layer can be hidden/edited individually.

Pretty basic editing things, but (guided) photomerge options all seem to want to complete the merge for you.

I don't - I want just the layers oriented so that I can edit each layer manually myself.

Is there a way to do this?

I don't know exactly how the different your project comes from a fusion of standard panorama.

When Photomerge process ends with elements, you can switch to "expert".

I would ignore the merged layer obtained by hide it or delete it.

Now you have the usual layers aligned by default, which might not be exactly what you want.

You can play with the alignment of layers or masks to customize your results.

Once you want to save the result, you can select the top layer and do the usual shortcut Ctrl Alt Shift E allows you to merge the result in a single layer.

  • HP Officejet don't align more than 8600

My Officejet Pro 8600 more don't lixation the print head.  I chose the option align several times, reset the printer by unplugging the power cord and even reset to the factory settings.  I'm at my wit's end.  This is getting ridiculous.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello Kiwikobi,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that your Officejet 8600 will not align the print head. I can understand how frustrating this situation is. I'm here to offer a few suggestions to try to solve this problem. Please follow these steps:

    (1) make sure that the printer is plugged into a live wall, not a surge protector

    (2) remove all your printer ink cartridges and close the door

    (3) remove the power cord at the back of the printer (make no press the power button)

4 wait 60 seconds or more, then plug the power cord into the printer

    (5) wait for the printer to turn completely, and then install the ink cartridges

    (6) try to print an alignment page

"If these steps do not resolve your problem, please follow this entire document from HP to a ' alignment failed ' Error Message appears on the all-in-one.

Please post your results, I'll be looking forward to hear from you.

  • How to align layers with scripts?

    Hey people,

Maybe a little bit easy question, but I didn t find anything on the web to date.

I want to line up a few layers as with the Panel in "alignment" after effects interface. The goal is to vertical center forms.

Is it possible to do this without writing the calculation by myself?

    See you soon

Lol you need to use the method of sourceRectAtTime() (available for any AVLayer) layers to understand the size and placement of the layers and then do the math yourself.

  • How to align layers on work plans

    Hello community,

I try to vertical center align a layer with the rectangle branding tool, but the layer always align to the artboard?

    Hope for help,

    Lars

    Lars salvation,

What you try to align the layer for? You can align it with the canvas/work plan (if only a layer is selected in the layers panel), either from another layer (if two or more layers are selected in the layer panel). You can't align it with a selection.

If you need to align a rectangular selection, create a new temporary empty layer and fill the selection with this layer. Next, align the target to your new temporary layer layer.

    I hope that helps!

  • When a 'design' is done after several layers, one caught last layer, then save them and JPEG to send?  I'm designing greeting cards.

I need some advice as a self-taught digital artist over the years, I've created illustrations/designs that I hope to sell greeting card companies.  As I work (create) the design I select constantly new layers as I go along and make changes until the final 'Aha' what!  Then I save it - last-finish-layer and also JPEG- like 'ready' to shown.

I hope this is the right way to do it?   Also once "blew up" design - zoom, up to what there are pixels and then I - clean lines and correct all the tasks of color or bleeding on the lines.   I never know how every last little pixel must be perfect; I happening lately days... will for example the stars I have on a Christmas tree.

a tree loaded - with gold stars, I saw with #1 thin black line so that they stand out.   This because I have no idea how 'deep' one company looks TO design and what needs to be perfect? for printing of the said design/illustration.   I must confess that until recently but I knew even of the - zoom, to the pixels - and was horrified by first of all to see

what things in a 'disorder' can be--which is NOT visible to the eye until the ZOOM - shock one!  I'm going to work "depth"?  How much should we go in to, enlarge,

art.. .in preparation so that I started to explain! a greeting card?

I'm 75 and started this 'fun' 25 years ago.  I published once by Marcel Schulman - Papyrus, but at that time, it was all done by hand.  After that, I began to ANALYZE what I drew, then work-it via Photoshop.

Most of the years that I paint with oils/pastels/watercolor...and the 'cards' were a means of - warm, if I'm "stuck" for awhile.  But I find the process fun and very

relax... Finally, I would like to know what the devil I have do IS what needs to be done so that I can... .go ahead and start sending again for card companies.

Sorry for taking so much time to explain - and I thank you - if you find that you have the time and energy to answer and help me with these questions!

    Sincerely,

    Cynthia

    I'll be 75 13 dec.

First of all if you want to sell to greeting card companies know what they want.  If they want a certain size and resolution. You create your art at this size and resolution, or a little bigger.  To resize smaller images work better then resizing image upwards in size.

You must always save work you as PSD files, so you can continue working on your art. If you do everything.  For the Greating card company save you what ever they want the psd.  Most likely will want a jpeg color space sRGB.  They may however want a CMYK image to a printer. As long as you have your PSD you must be able to create the file they want.

  • Speed category masks don't align

Hi guys I'm new to speedgrade and can't find answers online on why the mask itself and the widget are never aligned. Almost like a perspective view in a camera, it remains relatively attached to the center of the shot and does not correspond to the area of the shape mask that I specify but remains smaller and offset.

    Screen Shot 2015-02-05 at 2.00.07 pm.png

in all the tutorials and examples I've seen online for all masks happens to align themselves with the region, they are inspired to encompassing but mine seems to be in some kind of perspective mode or something. Any help would be appreciated.

This has been a problem for years, so I don't know when (if) we can expect a fix.  Here's a post on the forum on the same subject which is well over a year.

SpeedGrade masks are off and ignore keyframes

I met the same problem, my problem, I was like doing a project where I mixed images 1080 p with 4 K images.  Images of 1080 would mask with precision, the 4K images would emerge as you've demonstrated here.  It was a project of creating dynamic link, and I found that if I nested the 4 K shot in first then for some reason any mask would work as you would expect.  It's a pain, and not much of a workaround if you have a ton of shots. Luckily, I just had a few who needed masks.

I hope that Adobe solves this problem.  You will get probably just the line "File a feature request" which - coupled with $5 - you'll get a cup of coffee.  I was still the same as all the people who have been doing for more than a year.  All in good time, we can hope.  All in good time.

    layers 2.jpg

You probably have thumbnails of the Panel layer set to none.

(although with certain types of images they always show as it even with thumbnails one value other than none)

Look in the layers Panel Options rollout > size thumbnails and select something other than none.

  • Similar auto align layers and auto-merge layers?

In Photoshop, you can use automatic alignment of layers and auto-merge layers, then to select the region which is under discussion in each layer. How can I do the same thing in PSE 9?  Thank you.

No, you really can't focus stacking in PSE without a third party plugin of some sort. This thread is about 8 PES, but it applies to PES 9 as well:

  • When deleting a long shot in CS4 editing all the sound elements don't is not loading

I've seen similar issues here, but the solutions don't have not helped me.  Sometimes, I'm kicking speech or concerts where the source video is up to one hour in one take.  I usually capture all the sound elements of a CAM camera and sync on the timeline.  Sometimes, when I bring the master stroke down in the timeline, the full video will be available instantly, but only a few minutes the audio will load.  Sometimes, I left for a few minutes, assuming that it takes time for the audio load, and sometimes it works.  But, today, for the second time, I just get the first 3 of 45 minutes of audio.  The graphic track on the timeline shows the presence of the audio and I can get it in preview, for a few seconds at a time.
