  I tried what looks like anything to get this problem resolved, but nothing works. I tried the mouse settings in Photoshop and the mouse settings on my computer. And I ended up resetting all the customization options in Photoshop.

  The above key combination resets preferences, which is frankly, a huge PITA to fix later.  Much better to reset tools at first.  I have reset usually all the tools, because there is no downside that I can think of, and it's nice to bring back them to their default state.

  It seems that you may have removed some system files, you shouldn't have.

  If your Mac is running v10.7 Lion or later, you can restore OS X using OS X Recovery.

  Thanks for getting back to me.  I tried to download the drivers without result.  Then, I downloaded a trial version of items 14 to whom does not open due to a missing dll file.  I was able to find the dll file and install it and now my 13 elements opens fine. Thanks again for the quick response.

  It is unclear what problem you are facing... the wrong version or the wrong serial number.  The serial number is likely for the other version.  You don't want the serial number of Windows or the Mac version?

  I first downloaded the Premier and Photoshop of Dell Digital Download with a new computer.  He seemed to be installed and the opening screen appeared, but when I click on the side of the organizer of each software, it won't do anything.  Does not open.  No error message, it just does not open.  I contacted Dell and they reinstalled - who took many trials - and it has yet to open Organizer.  Then, we contacted Adobe, who has resumed the computer after we downloaded Adobe instead. It still does not open on the side of the organizer for them either.  They said the question, they don't know how to fix it!  Anyone?

  Can you please tell us what operating system you're running and which version of the elements you use.

  I'm going to assume that you use 64-bit on Windows 8.1 and using 12 items for now.

  The first screen you see normally has two or three options for the organizer and editors - which is the Welcome screen.

  I would like that you try to start the organizer directly, avoiding the Welcome screen.

  Go to your desktop and use the windows/Windows Explorer to locate the following file.

  "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Elements Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe 12.

  Double-click this file and see if it opens.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
