• New error on some clips in the previous project opened in CC 20141 (v 8.1)

  

  The project created in a previous version... Since the update, I get a few clips showing offline and when I try to locate and use the same that I used in the previous version it says format not supported?

  . A GH3 MTS files. I'll have to re - encode as .mp4 and re - import then replace by the tray, but it's a crazy job around clips that worked well previously.

  Some people helped rename the folder in which the files are located. You can also try to remove the media cache files.

  I am recording this plugin in the previous version, but I get this message: "unable to save the items in the \resource folder to the previous version.

  Even after the removal of the entire contents of my VI, I get the same error...

  What is the problem with this resource file?

  With previous versions of LabVIEW, I was able to do it without any problem.

  So OR locked.  Simply copy the VI on your desktop and then register for precedent.  I can understand why they would want to prevent you from doing this since so many things change from one version to the other.  But this is all new for 2013 (just tried with 2012 and it was fine).

  Add a POWER_PREVIOUS column to your report query using the analytical function LAG to access the value of the POWER of the previous row. Use the ORDER byclause in the function to determine the order of the lines. The calculation of the IR then simply uses the POWER and POWER_PREVIOUS values for the same line.

• Table of contents of the previous project import

  I hope someone can help me. I came across some problems with a robohelp project (well Yes, played and run the project on a network and lost) but to make a long story short, I got an old backup of the project I had on my computer and then imported all the headings of the broken Server version and I'm especially back in business.

  The only thing I have however is the most recent TOC and Index files. I tried just copy and paste the recovered files .hhc and .hhk project folder broken to the project folder but when I'm in Robohelp I still don't see the table of contents options?

  What can I do?

  What version of RoboHelp do you use? If it's a fairly recent version, it should be pretty easy to get the table of contents added. For example, in RoboHelp 11, you are able to right click on the folder TOC in project manager and choose "New Table of contents". Then you can give it a name, click the icon selection and point to one of the TOCs your copied on. That action could import the structure in a table of contents would be aware of.

• Problems of RoboHelp 7 HTML with whtbar.js and the previous topics of WebHelp

  I have posted before with great success on the whtbar.js file. For example, in one of our products, the WebHelp opens within the program, so I had to make sure I always checked in the old whtbar.js under version control file, replacing the last file whtbar.js created during the compilation of RoboHelp. Otherwise, the previous and next topic navigation would not work. So, which was not a problem since then. Now we have two new products that I created WebHelp projects for, but the buttons back and before previous/next topic do not work.

  When I compile projects Robohelp, the sequence through the left and right arrows appear, but do not work. I use just the browser buttons next and previous. So I can only confirm their appearance so that a browse sequence is implemented in my project. Well, a bit over the last few days, I noticed that these previous topic and next arrows do not work in the two news accessed by a link from a web page of finished products.

  Should I use the last updated during the last compilation whtbar.js file and keep it archived in our software source SVN control? Unlike my first project of WebHelp, these are accessible from a URL and not inside a .exe. So, I think that the restriction of the use of the original whtbar.js file may not affect the two new WebHelp projects, whose assistance is accessible from a link on a web page. Does anyone have a suggestion?

  I use RoboHelp HTML 7. The upgrade would eliminate any of these problems? With 7, I have to edit the whver.js file to get help to work properly in Google Chrome, so I usually just check all new files in SVN and then delete a single file and replace it with the file that had the additional Chrome tag. Are there features that anyone finds particularly useful in the new versions?

  Finally, on an unrelated note, when you import topics in a new project (after the import of models), is anyway for the subjects copied keep their models and indexing? Looks like there must be, but I have not understood that yet.

  Here's the skinny.

  First of all, I will talk about the basic of a sequence function to browse.

  A browse sequence is nothing more than a set list of topics. Very similar to links in a chain. The intention is that the user will work since the topic first in the sequence of the last in the order of the list. In the skin, if the first topic that is part of a sequence is presented in the topic pane, the previous button is disabled because there is nowhere to go 'Back' to. It is the starting point. The next button is available. Once you click on the next button, the next topic in the sequence is presented, and the two buttons are now enabled. (On condition, of course, that there are at least three subjects in the sequence.) Once the last subject of the sequence is presented, the next button is disabled while it is has no other defined subjects to visit. But the back button is enabled allowing you to work your reverse path in the chain.

  In a release of WebHelp and FlashHelp stripped with no special changes, the buttons are placed in this area if you have defined a sequence through and if you chose to present the sequence go through the recipe for single source layout.

  Now there are several ways to step beyond RoboHelp and monkey with its matching files to bend to our whims. Long ago, I discovered that you can cajole these buttons allow to present, and then modify some of the files so that the buttons using JavaScript for the history of massage. I have therefore thought that maybe by copying the updated file javascript, this had been done and that would explain the behavior entirely.

  What I'm thinking, is that in the previous project where things seem to work, it was in reality a set sequence. But in these projects where things seem broken, no sequence has been defined, so the behavior.

• Had a project done with first elements 11.  All media files and PRE files were in the same folder on an external hard drive.  Received a new computer, loaded first items 11 (which of course doesn't recognize not all previous projects as it is)

  Had a project done using first items 11 (the file exported and posted on youtube).  All the media files and PRE files associated with this project were located in the same folder on an external hard drive.  Got a new computer, responsible for first 11 elements (which of course doesn't recognize not all previous projects because it is a new installation) and now cannot open the original project to make some adjustments (connected to the external hard drive of course)...  Even tried to open the last saved auto program as well, no luck.  Just get a shell of the original project, but no real media file is passed in. Then get a prompt asking you where the file "rendering-3090026..." (20 More digits) is located.  Looking for C drive and external hard drive without success. Help!

  The external drive has the same drive letter on the new computer as it did when it was used on the other computer?

  Where are the video preview and the old led, Audio preview files compared to new? See Edit Menu/preferences/Scratch discs?

  Are all the place where is the file... messages just to render files? If all are for rendering files, what happens if you click ignore for their

  messages? Can you enter into the project and render it again if necessary and proceed with the project?

  Please see the bulletin. With the above information, we will decide which way to go? It seems that a media disconnect situation has developed in

• How can I replace a source element without having to redo the iMovie project?

  When exporting an iMovie project, I detected that a source element had bad images and export could not comlete (error 10008). I fixed the file and replaced it within the overall project. But after that iMovie refuses to play this clip during the opening of the new project - it shows an exclamation point in the chronology and the message "the clip has changed."

  Is there a way to replace an element in the project?

  A few facts:

  • The clips are AVI containers
  • I used Yodot AVI repair to remove the bad images
  • The repaired file use the same as the original codecs
  • version of iMovie: 10.1.1

  Yes.  With the Finder, drag the clip fixed everywhere where it is saved until it is placed on the old item in project.  When a green plus sign appears next to the cursor let go of the mouse button and you will get a menu.  Click "replace".  The duration and all connected titles, glitches or audio should not be affected.

  Bezier masks do not appear in the timeline, preventing me from editing. The masks appear in the column of layers only. The problem just started yesterday. The query projects previously do not seem to be performed.

  In the upper right corner of the canvas, there is a view menu. Check if the 'lines' are checked in the section view overlays.

  What you suggest is possible but it takes software and third-party quality loss.

  Instead, export a QuickTIme movie. If you have a choice of codecs, choose Apple Intermediate Codec. You can save it where you want it-maybe in the movies.

  Then import the movie into FCP as a clip.
