  You need not cancel the publication/republish the folio. Simply set retail in-app purchase fr and then change to a different price level, when you're ready. Apple manages the change of pricing on their end. You don't need to do anything on the side of Adobe.

• Problem of starting an application signed on Playbook

  I'm trying to publish a native app free for Playbook running OS version 2.1.0.1917 and just hit a snag at the end...

  The application uses Qt GUI and works very well in both Debug and Release builds.

  But when I connect to the application via NDK, the application does not start.

  The content of the signed native directory BAR file are identical to the contents of the [success] unsigned BAR file.

  The directory META-INF signed BAR file seems to contain all the appropriate stuff:

  AUTHOR. EC
  AUTHOR. SF
  MANIFESTO. MF

  When I check the bar using the file

  the output shows all of the problems:

  Thank you for your reply - and for the useful link. Yes, the application attempts to write to the local directories:

  App/data
  App/newspapers

  - but they must be OK I think that, given that the app should have read/write access to them.

  I think I found the problem well... and it seems to be in the fact that was missing the point of entry in the manifest file ""-blackberry platform " at the end."

  The thing is that I sign the BAR file using the option to export directly from the Momentics IDE, and it produced incomplete entry point of entry in the manifest:

  Entry point: LD_LIBRARY_PATH = app/native/lib QML_IMPORT_PATH = app/native/import QT_PLUGIN_PATH = native/app/plugins app/native /.

  So, I took a bar of existing unsigned release added "-blackberry platform" through - so that it looks like:

  Entry point: LD_LIBRARY_PATH = app/native/lib QML_IMPORT_PATH = app/native/import QT_PLUGIN_PATH = native/app/plugins app/native / - blackberry platform

  Then, once I signed this command line bar, it started working.

  So I think it's a bug in Momentics IDE. I I will explore a little more and will file a bug if it is confirmed.

• Can free defective PB - I Exchange?

  I received a free PB for the development of some applications (thanks RIM)!  When you first start up, there were some major issues - basically each delivered app pre-loaded is crushed/closed immediately after trying to open it, the screen of options was white/empty, try using the app 'Power Off' would cause the screen to get fuzzy and many other issues.

  After some research, I tried to do the + / volume + and the power to reset, also try now button pressed the powerbutton only, many, many times. Even after numerous restarts and resets - the same problems occur. I also tried to reinstall the update "delporte" via the software of office many times (more than a dozen!)  but always the same questions.

  It gets worse - now I can't even open the menu options and * no * menus at the top of the main working display (i.e., Wifi, battery, Bluetooth, screen orientation settings/options). In addition, a blow up and down to open the options/settings is no longer works.

  Just an update...

  I sent TMGIdeas about my problem and the process to get an Exchange. They responded quickly (less than an hour) and said they will send me an email for information on a FedEx shipping label printing overnight (I received the email the next day). After that I ship my defective PlayBook, they will deliver me a new ASAP PlayBook.  Fairly easy and painless - KUDOS to TMGIdeas for their service!

  So everyone needs to exchange a defective PlayBook, here are the steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected]
  2. Tell them you have a damage / defective PlayBook to offer it for free the PlayBook and include your online order online store #.
  3. They will send you by email (probably overnight) with a link to print a FedEx shipping label the next day.
  4. Packing everything that came with the PlayBook, attach the FedEx shipping label and ship it.
  5. Once TMGIdeas gets your PlayBook, they will send you a new PlayBook ASAP.
