I can't remove an unwanted shadow effect in an image that is a Composition Lightbox widget. There is no defined in the Image frame or trigger effect. It does not appear in Design view but not in preview and in the browser.

Hello

Normal state of the Image frame in the trigger has the selected shadow effect. Please uncheck that.

Please take a look at the screenshot below to better understand.

If it wasn't that simple, don't you think that Adobe would have done that?

"Not implemented" does not by all means - at all. It is a rewrite from the ground up, unfortunately time-limited by the bean counters, that's why it came out in this State. What currently exists, that's all you get for the moment.

  • Removal of the shadows

I am fairly new to Photoshop CC (2014), but I take portraits of people for work, with terrible lighting and I used to be able to eliminate the shadows reflected on the walls, but now it allows me to do. I would like to use the Clone Stamp to shoot in the shaded area, then use the softening tool to soften the edges. Now when I choose the clone stamp and apply it to the shadow, it won't do anything. The Clone Stamp tool only works on the subject itself. It's all on the same background layer in a JPEG format, so I am very confused.

Can someone tell me in a different way to remove the shadows of a portrait?

I select the object for the clone stamp. I found the mode has been changed to darken for a reason any. I changed it back to normal, and now it works fine.

    Thank you!

  • Is there a way to apply the shadow to a masked image effect?

Is there a way to apply the shadow to a masked image effect? (Hidden through the default effect video opacity). When I try to do, the shadow effect applies to any image not only the hidden portion.

I have not messed with the masks very well, but you're right. The shadow does not work on a masked image.

I got it to work if by nesting the masked image.

Shadows are transparent. Transparency affects something with which it interacts. There is also a known issue that the screen darkens when transparency is on the page and occasionally makes in PDF format as well.

You can batch process using the image processor script and no user action should still be included in the process.  Check out our menu file > Scripts > image processor.

Pourquoi.03 on the setEffect et.3 on setStyle?

If you want 3% spread, you can do 3% in style.

  • Hide the shadow effects of the text (on the other) while keeping the editable text...

There are two editable texts (unrasterized/editable)... The two applied shadow effects... They are very close together, so the shadow effect over top of the lower layer on layer.

What should I do to hide this shadow while keeping the two editable texts?

Sorry I'm not that good at English, please ask what information I should I provide in addition to the problem...

    Thank you, Vish.

Group the two layers turn off the shadows on the layers and add the style to the group.

  • Remove the shadow effect - I can't stop!

So I used the shadow PSE 6 effect successfully.

But I can't figure out how to disengage from this effect.  I started to use the Clone Stamp tool after I am done with shadow, and have now all my clone stamps shadows!

I don't not want to shadow.  How to stop?  I looked and looked and can't see anything obvious.  Thank you.

Select the clone tool and try a reset.

  • The effects used on the button image image have less effect... ?

I was curious to know if anyone has come across this problem, or if I was doing something to create this problem.

I created buttons on a Web site, using a picture frame and importing States. I then wanted to overlay of the effects on the State of the button. I found when I tried to do, they seemed to be nonexistent or minimal, and therefore I their crank up to a level very high, resulting in the first image below Design view.

I'm a bit puzzled as to why the effects are applied to a smaller ratio where they need to be greatly increased to have the desired effect.

Comment useful for something I can do wrong/if this has happened to you is welcome.

What do you mean by "using a picture frame and the importing States."?

You can simply create the text inside the muse, create some padding, fill the box with a color and then apply the effect throuht the section of.

  • Reproduce the shadow effect in Illustrator

    Hi all

I'm trying to reproduce a logo for a client that was created by a different designer, and I was not able to find a way to recreate the drop shadow on the type.

    Here is the logo:

    http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff183/DesignDude/HillcrestLogo.jpg

When I use the drop shadow in Photoshop and Illustrator, the shadow detaches always type. I also tried using the extrude and bevel 3D effect in Illustrator, but it always comes out looking much "more" than in the picture above. (I am self-taught, so please forgive my ignorance.)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your suggestions...:)

    Sam

    Effect > 3D > extrude & bevel

All of the X axis and axis to axis Z 3 degrees (approximately) at 0. Change the depth of extrusion to your liking. It is better to activate the preview while making changes.

The extrusion will be the color of the color of the outline.

  • How to best eliminate the high light cutting?

In LR, there are several ways to reduce the high light cuts.

I noticed that on a given photograph I could remove the cuts of

    (a) reduction of exposure with - 1.33, or

    (b) an increase of 100% recovery, or

    (c) move brightness of 50-150 (a few clippings remained), or

    (d) reduce the clarity to-100.

It goed combinations of some ot the above reduction techniques will probably the way to go.

I am aware that each photo is different and will therefore require specific treatment.

My question is what would be the best first step?

-use recovery to its fullest and still possibly a bit, reduce exposure or

-first of all reduce the exposure a bit, and then increase the recovery?

My impression is that it is better not to apply adjustments of exposure and recovery and stay away from light, and certainly unclear.

    Thanks for your advice!

To remove the highlight clipping, you really want to work with exposure and recovery. Always try exhibition first, because he controls more precisely the white clipping point. If the amount of the reduction of exposure you need is so that the image is too dark, then adjust the exposure to the overall image and move to recovery.

The reason why you don't want to try to recover everything first is that if you use more recovery you need, it tends to flatten contrast and detail in the bright areas of the image. That's why I'm trying to see how much I can take care of exhibition first.

Brightness, contrast and tone curve only work with the tones remaining after you set the end with exposure/black points and adjust the extreme loved ones with recovery/Fill Light. You cannot use curve of brightness/contrast/Tone to bring what you cut because they do not go beyond the anchor points that you define with the exposure and shadows. But the brightness is ideal for clear tones that were clouded once you have reduced exposure to retrieve highlights. Clarity is a local contrast control, working again with tones only inside the exposure and shadows. This is why the great changes of brightness/contrast/Tone curve and the clarity had little effect on the highlights. Exposure and recovery of the matches of the shadow specifically, target with the least side effects on the rest of the image.

Lowering the point the top of the tone curve is not really eliminate clipping, it remaps only the brightest tone less than white. It is still blown out, but now rather than be a detail missing from solid white, it is now a detail missing solid area light gray. Highlight the valuation: back in detail.
