  Group the two layers turn off the shadows on the layers and add the style to the group.

I wanted to add a grain of color of a shape effect in Illustrator and followed some tutorials online - add a basic fill and add a new fill under a desired and white color gradient, then apply the grain on the gradient effect, and change the mode of multiplication.   If it is just a white gradient on the base color you need, try changing the blending mode of this on the screen.

• CSS DropShadow looks different to the shadow effect

  In the test below, that the drop shadow for the top panel is defined as effect - the shadow to the lower panel is defined by CSS only. I guess that two air signs equal because the shadow params are equal.

  So I used the shadow PSE 6 effect successfully.

  But I can't figure out how to disengage from this effect.  I started to use the Clone Stamp tool after I am done with shadow, and have now all my clone stamps shadows!

  I have not messed with the masks very well, but you're right. The shadow does not work on a masked image.

  I got it to work if by nesting the masked image.

  You can find the setting you need in the Performance Options.

  Click on the round to Start and then right click on computer and select Properties from the context menu. In the window of the System in the left column click on Advanced system settings. In the System Properties window, click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click settings. In the Performance Options window, on the Visual effects tab, scroll down to the bottom and clear the shadows down usage labels icon on the desktop. This should remove the shade you want.

  I think you want to just play with the settings of the shadow from the corner. The default angle puts the shadow to the lower right. You can move that kind of shadow is just below. Then play with the distance and the amount of fabric softener. This is a .png of Fireworks with some changed settings:

  

• How we prevent illustrator of conversion and by separating the shadows at the edges when the file is saved and reopened?

  I don't know why this is happening, once I have record close and reopen, it is no longer recognized as a shadow (the shadow becomes its own image completely) it is not a previous version either and we show the effect is no longer in the appearance window?

  Try a save compatible pdf power on and off. Illustrator to open the PDF of the half of the fields which flattens transparency.

• How to set the raster effects with applescript settings in Illustrator CC 2015?

  I'm trying the effect of frame to some fixed value for all open documents in Illustrator via applescript in Illustrator CC 2015 set.

  but I can't get it to work.

  I'm trying to do as follows:

    set the pixelation effect parameters of every document to {class:effects of rasterization options resolution: 1000}

  Strangely, it worked without any problem in Illustrator CC 2014.

  When I try to compile, it gives the error "an identifier cannot come after this identifier" (translation of the Dutch, so not 100% sure it's the correct terminology).

  Anyone have any idea how to get this working or do you think it is a bug in the latest version of Illustrator?

  I have no idea why this is happening but you must stop. I can't change the shadows in Illustrator files once they are reopened. I don't have time for that. Help, please.

  What is a file originating with an older version, as it is being edited in CC? Try record underand don't forget to save it as the current version.

  a layer is a shadow - a second layer I have my image - how is, that the image view is done by the shadow of an object to another layer? What is a passing fad or these effects the prints as well? If so, how can I change?

  Shadows are transparent. Transparency affects something with which it interacts. There is also a known issue that the screen darkens when transparency is on the page and occasionally makes in PDF format as well.
