• How to remove a display duplicate in the resolution of the screen?

  I had a Windows 7 laptop to an external display connected to it.  My laptop has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, while my external monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1200.  Initially, I had my external monitor hooked through my docking station, but I've since decided to plug in my external monitor to the HDMI port on my laptop.  When I did this, in the screen resolution Control Panel, I now have 3 screens!  The 3rd posting is currently DISABLED.  But when I decide to have two active screens, I can't do this each with their native resolution with 3rd current display - even if this were not true, I still want to have this '3rd view' deleted.

  Therefore, I have 2 questions:

  1. how 'remove' the 3rd display twice the screen resolution?  I tried to remove the double 'generic PNP' driver from the Device Manager Control Panel.  It did not work.  I then tried to turn it off - it does not work either.

  2 is it possible that when I unplug the HDMI cable from my laptop (like when I want to take my laptop somewhere) that the native computer screen is automatically enabled?  I'd rather NOT have my laptop screen to be active at all when I use my monitor (because they are of different resolutions), but that it has become active when I disconnect the HDMI cable, so if I forgot to transfer the laptop of my external monitor display when I take the laptop with me, I don't have a very expensive brick with an idle screen.

  Right-click for a resolution on the first page, select the monitor you want to remove, place "multiple" click on disable display-> press apply-> select "Multiple display" drop down again and now you will be presented with "delete this view"-> apply.

• How is it when I "Flatten Image" I lose all of my properties of layer Style?

  I have an image in Photoshop.  I click on the text icon and type my website in the photo url.  I then select 'Layer Style' and do some fancy cloak of gout and bevel and Emboss to make the text more.  I then highlight the text layer and the background layer amd select 'Flatten Image'.  When I do this, the text goes back to the default initial value without the Layer Styles, I put for her.  Someone knows why?  Even if I do not choose 'Flatten the Image', the computer it automatically flattens when I save it and that's why, if I open the image you saved it again, it's always the same problem... the text I added appears without the Layer Styles, I've done for her.  Anyone know why or how to fix this?  Thanks, Blake

  It is in the Area of Notification in the taskbar.

  Right-click empty spot on the taskbar , and then selectProperties.

  In the Notification section, click the Customize button.

  At the bottom of the window, select the link Toggle system icons .

  On the Volume element, click the drop-down menu and selectIT .

  Click OK at the bottom of the screen.

  Back in the options of the Notification area, click the dropdownIcon of the Volume, select the option Show icon and Notifications .

  Click OK.

  This should be always visible Volume icon.

  Instructions are here: Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing connect the parent (as shown in Figure 4) folder, and then all subfolders will be also connected. If I understand your use of the word 'bucket' (do you really mean "parent folder"?), then you will need to do this for each of the 15 buckets.

  It would be much easier if you had a 'bucket' or parent folder and many subfolders and sub-sub-folders.

  I have a RT SMU-8135 that records events and data from various sources in CSV files and custom binaries. I'm looking for a way to protect against data loss during a normal shutdown.

  Windows or Linux, I can programatically close the application and the operating system; It's enough to dump all the data disc and turn the power off when it is safe. However, as far as I know, there is no way to programmatically close a VxWorks target (e.g. http://forums.ni.com/t5/Real-Time-Measurement-and/Shutdown-of-cRIO-or-sbRIO-via-software-command/td-... )

  A number of things. First of all, are you sure that the SMU-8135RT is running VxWorks? The link below suggests that it is running Phar Lap ETS. On this basis, see the second link below, which tell about a similar question regarding the Phar Lap. The short of it is that it is not a software based on RT Linux targets non stop. Essentially, if you want to make sure that things are not going when you turn off, you will need to do something as printed in the console as it is ready to be put off tension after you have completed the activities, or have an LED start or stop flashing. So far, it doesn't seem there's a clear way to determine when all other activities have finished, but it seems that it is always "safe" stop the target at any time (safe for the target, but this does not guarantee that all activity is performed).
