  I have Photoshop version 7 running on a new Windows 8 System. I previously ran on a Windows 7 system. I don't know all the details of the system, but I know there are a lot of RAM (16 GB), lots of space, lots of everything and it is compatible, however, he drags a lot, which he has never done.
