  Check your version (Windows: help > about Illustrator;) Mac: Illustrator > about Illustrator). The last update for 2015 of CC (until November) supports forms live of the ellipses, polygons and lines. Before that, it was just rectangles.

  Go to help > updates to date (or the application of CC) upgrade to 19.2.1.

• How can I fill between paths made by the Ellipse tool?

  I would try to fill the spaces between the circles, as both left and right.

  By reading the discussions and assistance from Adobe, it seems that the best way to do this using the live paint bucket, so what I tried to do is select the paths, then click the selection using the pot of paint, but here is the message that appears when I do:

  Should what conversion I do to allow the filling between possible paths?

  What kind of paths are those ellipses that does not make them compatible with live paint Buck?

• Tool display rotation & drawing OpenGL.

  Hello!

  I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 installed. I moved to CS4, so it wasn't a stretch in addition to the characteristics.

  Anyway the problem is that when I select 'tool view rotation' I get the following message:

  Could not complete your request because it only works with the active OpenGL document windows.

  It worked fine on CS4!

  And Yes, I am confident that under GPU settings it enable OpenGL drawing option is checked.

  My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5850.

  Probably, you have successfully updated your video driver to the latest version of ATI, Catalyst 11.3.

  Normally, they are good enough not to break things in their new products, but I suspect you have the problem where Catalyst 11.3, has notably Photoshop refuse to go to the OpenGL mode in Normal and advanced mode.  ATI recommends up to 11.2.

  Hello, I am trying to use the ellipse tool, but the only thing there is the rectangle tool. Any help?

  There are instructions in the "Activate a tool" and "shortcuts: activating tools ' After Effects help sections.

• Illustrator - Ellipse tool works not properly

  Hello

  totally new to Illustrator, so probably a silly question, but I really don't know what to do at this point.

  All of a sudden during the use of the ellipse, rectangle,... tool, during the drawing of the object, it shows the path (pls see photo below). Something obviously clicked / lit a few features that I shouldn't, but I do not know who and how.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

• Ellipse tool

  When I try to do a form of an ellipse, the tool performs a complete ellipse.  For example, I get 3/4 of the form.  Which button I activated by mistake?

  I tried to restart, after removing the library settings.  Thank you for your help.

  I downloaded CC2015 and I am just playing with it. When I use the pen tool, I can access paths 'fill' and the 'coup' by right clicking and choose the brush to make a route of the path. However when I use the ellipse or other shape tools, I can't use the stroke and brush; fill and stroke are grayed out. I tried to use the Panel tool tracks and using paths to access but to line and fill will only accept a line, it doesn't allow me to use a brush (it works fine in CC2014).

  I'm sure it's a really stupid thing, I turned off or have not set in motion, but can someone point me in the right direction, please?

  It's only for a path that does not have a background or contour yet. Shape layers all ready have.

• Tool crop rotation not as good as the tool sets

  I like the features built into the crop since CS6 tool, but I have a major problem that I can't find any comment or resolution on. Basically, if I flip an image using the crop tool, I find horizontal and vertical tend to be jagged, as if the anti-aliasing very rough had been applied.

  If I flip the same image using the ruler tool, vertical and horizontal lines appear smooth and correct. They appear in fact straight, not serrated.

  The result is that I have to leave the crop tool, jump into the ruler tool, make my rotation (which almost always brings a vertical or horizontal return to true), and then return to the crop tool.

  No one knows why this happens?  She appeared in CS6, and now I use CC it's all the same.  Is there a fix, I do something wrong?

  Yes, the rule, just tool rotates the image and does not give you an overview as the crop tool.  Until graphics cards become even more robust, the PS will have to create an image of low resolution for a quick overview.  There are many tools in PS that, like the transformation.  It would be nice to intensive process to give feedback in real time with these tools.

  I frequently use this tool and its position in CS4 was really helpful. Could you please add it to the top of the workspace still CS5 please? Or make it possible for us to customize this toolbar?

  Well, the hot spring seems much more convenient for me (hold R button) because it does not have to reselect the original tool after the rotation, but do you know Configurator 2?

  You could create a panel with just the tool and place it anywhere on your screen.

• Dev tools fly goal (/ questions/1042229)

  I continually get the developer tools that appears when I'm sailing FF. Only, this happens when I use my trackpad and seems to be related somehow to moving it from right to left. I can't find anyway to do that well in line. FF37.0.1 and Windows 8. Seems to not be linked to any add ons... all the tools of the developer (devtools.*.enabled) set to false (so why the Inspector keeps popping up I don't know). Never a problem when using the mouse - only the touchpad.

  Ok. Tried two teas - deleted user.js and removed all the addons (Safe Mode startup. No change. What I'VE found, is that I can reproduce this simply by dragging it to the left of the bezel on the touchpad. This seems to be the problem. On this machine that WOULD show the charms. However, he launched the development tools instead.

  Now, for me, that solved the problem, because I don't really use the charms bar. So I can't disable this gesture. I don't know why it happened to FF, as I would have thought that should be caught by the o/s before it gets there.

  Auto rotation problem solved! As I said in my previous posts my sensor has worked well (and so I have is maybe a software problem, kernel?).. .so I tried a few apps from the game store: the only one who's really works: "auto rotation to lie down". For those who are facing the problem just install the app and give the requested permissions. Works like charm! Glad for not having sent the smartphone for repair!

  In Photoshop CS5, it is possible to crop an image and rotate its edges manually.

  • Sometimes, it is possible to crop an image and place each line of the harvest, BUT he doesn't twist and the rounded arrow does not appear when hover at an angle.

  All that resamples the image: resize, rotate, distort, free transform, etc. do not work in bitmap mode.

  This is because the bitmap mode has only 2 values, and you cannot create between values...

• Tool brush CS5 question

  I am using the Brush tool, and the "painting" fills the entire round 'brush '.

  When I got CS3 on a PC, the diameter of the brush was the diameter of the color. I looked through the settings for CS5 on my Mac, but couldn't find anything that is limiting the diameter. The only thing I checked under "Brush Tip shape" is 'dynamic shape.'

  In the Mac system preferences > universal access > check to see if the size of the cursor is set to display higher than normal of the mouse.
