  It is a long shot, but as far as I know, nview is part of the package, not the driver, so if you manually install the latest driver with Device Manager, you may be able to retain the desired nview functionality when you are using the latest driver.

  I recently moved to the top of Photoshop Elements for CS5 which included a tool selection and more brush brush for quick selection.  Selection Brush tool to paint a selection free style without being bothered by the 'Quick' function which provides guess everything where you can select.  I couldn't find the selection Brush tool in CS5.  Is this one?  The lasso is not as easy to use.

  The "brush selection" in the elements is a subset of the Quick Mask mode in Photoshop.

  Select fast is something else.

• Problem with stamp cloning tool in CS5?

  I'm having the darndest problem I have never met before. I use the cloning tool in CS5 and I'm trying to clone stamp a portion of the photo and clone in another part of the picture. The problem is that after I option click on and then drag it to the part I need, dark spots appear in the place? What's not here? Here is an example. Thank you.

  We can't quite see in your image, but you have the blending mode for the tool clone set to difference maybe?  Otherwise go to leave the top drop-down list in the Options bar and see if you have presets for this tool and reset.  If none of this helps, the time to reset the preferences file (Shift Cmd opt as you open Photoshop)

• Problem with the tool brush painting

  When I use the paint brush tool it is automatically detcting the color in the photo that I used on another layer, even if I delete this layer, but I want to just paint to be black. I tried to create a new document and using the same bag, but when I try and paint nothing happens. Does anyone know what I'm missing / how to help?

  The regular brush tool is simply not available?  Or are you simply not it see in the tools Panel?  If the latter, keep in mind several tools may occupy the same place.  Click and hold on the icon just above the tool shape history, then select the Brush tool.

  If you try to paint a solid color, the tool shape history or Art History Brush are simply the wrong tools.

  I have problems with the crop tool in CS5. All picture information are ignored rather than just the croped the picture part leaving me an image of 0 bites. Can anyone suggest a solution?

  Check all the settings in the farm tool options bar.

  If that does not show anything (like a bad resolution value), plan to reset the Photoshop preferences.

• Tool brush CS4 is a few pixels off

  Hello. In CS3 when I used the tool brush to clean the masks, I could put the edge of the round cursor on the edge of the object at hand, and when I click on the mouse, the brush would land right where I placed the cursor. Now, in CS4, the brush mark ends up as 5 pixels away and towards the bottom of the slider. Thus, it is extremely difficult to be accurate. Sometimes, if I delete my preferences, it works fine, but at some point, it begins to do this again.

  Any idea would be appreciated. I use photoshop on a new Mac Pro Tower, 4 core.

  you have created a new document in use mode full screen, press F to scroll the screen modes and everything will be back to normal.

• Why option + click on the tool brush sets a background color?

  First posted question at Adobe, so I hope it's in the right place.  I use CS5 and find that when I option-click when you use the Brush tool to select a color to brush, it sets this color as my background color.  I want to put it at the forefront (of course) so that I can immediately use the color I just chose without having to exchange the back to the front.

  I can't find a setting to change this occurrence.  Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

  Did you follow the FAQ as to change the ring of focus on the color scheme (Panel)? In CS5, it looks a little different, but should always be obvious that swatch (foreground or background) has the focus.

  I tried to stay in the Brush tool and click on the foreground color that opens the color palette.

  Opens the color picker, not color Panel (Palette). Go window > color to bring up the color Panel. Check that the ring is on the foreground swatch in the color Panel.

  I have items 6 and 10, and there is a tool of the stylus pressure.

  Once the editor is open and the Brush tool is selected, click on the small arrow beside the brushmark.

  In the menu you will find the pen pressure.

  You can also click with the right button on the Brush tool and click on the pencil tool.

  I am quite new to adobe illustrator. I currently use a tablet with a pressure sensitive pen. But I want to know if it is possible to change the width of my brush profile so that I use to draw.
  When I use the stylus to draw, the way I draw is set to be 'touch calligraphy brush' with the 'Basic' default width profile.
  What I want to do is to be able to use the brush sensitive pressure with a different width than 'Basic' profile, while I draw.
  I tried to use a calligraphy brush to get a trait that was consistent with my pressure and was not 'touch calligraphy', but from what I understand I can't change width of calligraphic profile.

  If in the end, the question is this:

  How can I draw on illustrator using pen and make sure the trait of my road has a different width from that is the default profile?

  You cannot use a width with a calligraphy brush profile at all.

  If you want to apply a width profile, drawing with the pencil tool. If you want to determine the width by pressure profiles, you must use the dynamic Sketch plugin.

• Tool brush has a smudge through pressure on the wacom bamboo tablet sensor

  I have problems with my Tablet bamboo wacom or Photoshop (I wouldn't have the first clue on which one of them are the culprits of my problem...).

  While I use the Brush tool in Photoshop, that I let go, it seems that I spend my pen, brush also follows. Mind you, at this point, my pen is not touching the tablet.

  Its very frustrating as its creation little tails on the end of all my brush strokes.

  I'm not sure exactly WHEN this started to happen, but it never happened in the past (before using PS CC 2015 I guess).

  This will be governed by your Wacom tablet properties.  It is mainly a function of the parameter Tip feel.  By moving the slider to the company will make the tip must be closer to the surface of the tablet to assign the cursor.  Be sure to test with the widget of the current pressure , because he's going to be horrible to use if you set it too close.

  

  I can't answer a question about Wacom Tablets without suggesting you try lazy Nezumi Pro.  It will improve your pleasure using the Tablet exponentially and allow you to produce smooth, beautifully tapered, flowing lines.  No user of the tablet should be with it IMHO

• The tool brush Flash CC suddenly stops drawing when the step is small

  When you use the Brush tool, I have a problem that will be the race I paint abrupty cut at one point on the screen (about halfway to the bottom of the screen, it does not concern the position of the canvas or the coordinates).  This seems to happen when I have the scene size set to a smaller size (64 x 64 pixels for example).  I was able to reproduce the same behavior on several files and a Windows 8.1 machine and a Windows 7 machine, both using the updated version of Flash CC.  Both machines are double monitor, I'm not sure if that plays a factor.

  To reproduce:

  1. create a new FLA in Flash CC and set the size of the scene to 64 x 64 pixels.

  2. use the Brush tool and try to shoot from the top to the bottom of the screen (zoom level and position on the canvas is okay, as long as your cursor is going to the top of your screen to the bottom of your screen).

  3. the race cuts abruptly Mid-drawing at some point on the screen, about half way down.  You can continue to draw and move to the top, and it reappears when it crosses the barrier again.

  This does not occur if the size of the scene has something bigger (640 x 480, for example).  This also happens in Flash CS5 or CS6 and have noticed only happens in Flash CC.

  What is happening with the mouse to draw and also happened when I tested it on another PC with an attached Wacom tablet.

  Is what is happening to the other institutions, and is at - it a fix for this problem?  (aside, always using a size big stage)

  I have a problem right now. You know that icon located next to the brush size icon, once you select the Brush tool?

  This icon, once that you insert a drawing tablet so that your designs can be better with the pressure you put in? I forgot the name of it, but it does not appear when I put my tablet... But it worked in CS5.5.

  HELP PLEASE. Without this tool, I essentially bought CS6 without reason because it's the most important thing that I still have to begin all work.

• Problem with the pen tools & brush

  I went to this throughout the day. I have reset the preferences and reinstalled but it did not help.

  I select the pen tool or the brush, set the size of the brush let 16pt, choose a default width profile and define the brush as a base. As I draw the line/mark the anchor settings are reset to 1 pt, normal width profile and sometimes oval 2pt. I can again select the line and apply the settings, and then I click on board graphic settings remain and if I try to draw a new line settings are reset again.

  I use cs5 on mac.

  Any ideas?

  the location of all the tools in the Toolbox cs5 as well as keyboard shortcuts

  as I like the Healing Brush tool.
