Eloqua discover & Google Chrome Compatability

Has anyone else had problems with Eloqua Discover and Google Chrome compatibility? When our sales users using Chrome, they connect constantly to find out whenever they see a different prospect. It is EXTREMELY annoying and I'm sure it's going to prevent from using the application. Is there a parameter in Chrome which must be verified to work correctly?

Looks like that the cookie is not saved correctly. Try to go into the settings in Chrome, advanced settings, and then click content under privacy settings. Make sure that you accept all cookies and add an exception for https://secure.eloqua.com . Aside from that, you can talk to your IT Department as there may be a permissions problem which does not Chrome access the cookie by Prospect Profiler (im going to assume that perspective Profiler is theyre using in this case app, because it requires a login all discover itself flows from your SFDC credentials).

    When I troubleshoot Chrome, I get a message that it is an incompatible program, I try to any setting. My games and pages freeze, crashes of Chrome, and it happens almost constantly. I checked on the computer and all the programs repeatedly and can find no viruses or other problems that might contribute.     Virtually all software current (software that has an update released in the last two years) are compatible with Windows 7.  The following link leads to the site where you can enter a specific software, but another perhaps more accurate way is to do an internet search (Google, Bing, i.e.) to the support site for the specific company (supported in Google Chrome, Avast support, etc.) and check here if you are unsure of the compatibility of Windows 7.

  • I am trying to download Google chrome for windows 7 - once a test of compatibility with the result is Google chrome is an incompatible program? Any ideas please.

    However, the initial issue of Chrome being not except by my comp W7.
    I managed to find the location of downloaded programs C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe and went to its properties.
    In run this program as compatible for -
    Chrome has itself identified to XP SP3?
    Why?
    This model came with W7 and was never anywhere close to XP.

    I chose W7 and now well after weeks of faffing.
    Go and go.

    Third party extension and plug-ins?

    Disable the Safari Extensions

    On the Google home page, there is a blue bar that reads-
    "Discover a faster way to surf the web. Install Google Chrome no thank you'.

    My previous version of Firefox, v14 something, wouldn't show this blue bar once that I didn't choose "thank you."

    Just register to post these tips for those who want to get rid of the annoying blue of google local.
    I recommend to use Ad-Block Plus for this purpose. When you are on Google and the blue pop up thing, click on the Ad-Block Plus logo in the bottom left of your Firefox and select 'open blockable items '. It blocks everything (or once you spot to be at the origin of the pop - up) scripts.
    This should help.

    I came across a problem shortly after the update of Skype, I think. In Google Chrome, whenever I'm trying to look up a word in the omnibox, it brings me to the page but a window popups down saying "{did you mean go to http://{word, I searched}? This problem ONLY occurs when Skype is open and connected. It is incredibly annoying and I'd love to get a fix for it.

    I thought I mentioned that happens in all browsers, but in any case, after connecting my laptop to a 3G hotspot, I discovered that the problem lies somewhere in my router or something because it does not occur using the 3G hotspot. Thank you all for your great help!

  • Google Chrome Pixelated problem

    I recently bought the v7 - 581 (touchscreen) Acer i7 series.

    out with the windows 8 OS.

    I downloaded the Google Chrome browser and discovered that the browser text and the entire screen of chrome are pixelated. I mean not clear. It only happened in Mozilla and IE browser.

    Anyone has the same problem or a solution for this maybe? Thank you.

    Those who see it, follow step by step:

    (1) go to your desktop and right click on choose the resolution of the screen

    2) click view on the top bar

    (3) then click on custom calibration option

    (4) then choose your own settings for my acer v7 581 i7 touchscreen, it is preferable to 135%

  • HELP Please: problems connecting to Google Chrome or Internet Explorer: think it has to do with my network cards

    My computer works perfectly except that I can't connect to the internet using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Internet works fine.  I have another computer that is connected to the same network, and it works fine.  Also my signal strength is optimal. When I try to go on Google Chrome, it says that the web page is unavailable & the reason why is error: 105 (net: ERR_NAME__NOT_RESOLVE) the server is not found.  When I try to use the Internet, I get this message:

    Device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (Code 31)
    I've tried everything and looked at other forums. I went into Device Manager and tried to update the driver, but whenever I do it just says that all updates are already made.
    I really feel that my problem has something to do with network cards. When I go to Device Manager and discovered the network adapters 13 different adapters appear. The 1st is Atheros AR5007 802. 11b / g Wireless Adapter and it looks like it works very well but there are 11 different (Microsoft 6to4 adapt #10) (all have different # s, 10,11,12,14,15,16,17,18,20,5,9) there is (NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller)
    I think the problem is with the Microsoft 6to4 adapters because win I right click & then click on PROPERTIES of each adapter says: State of the device, this device is not working properly because windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) So, is to "find solutions", says & when I do that nothing happens, a message flashes on the screen that says: "Could not load driver software" and that windows is looking for information, but nothing ever happens.
    Can some1 please help me! My computer worked fine and both Google Chrome and still worked and then out of the blue it just stoped working. Any information would be very useful

    Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

    You have found the source of your problems.  You must remove or uninstall, all the cards of 6to4.  Also delete everything that said map Tunnel or card miniport WUN.  Also uninstall or disable, Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) Properties tab on existing network cards.

    Once you have done these things, restart the computer and make sure that the 6to4 adapters does not return.

  • My Server Proxy of Google Chrome is not working

    I recently did some research on my IP address and my proxy server after that I discovered that someone had used my IP address for illegal things.

    I have Google Chrome and Microsoft 7. When my proxy server is enabled the HTTP ERROR 401 UNAUTHORIZED appears when I try to open Google Chrome. Then a pop-up appears which says ' required, authentication server http://www.google.com:80, server NETGEARWNR1000V.3 " 
    The only way I can access the internet is in any case if I go to settings > advanced settings > network > change Proxy settings > then disable my proxy server.
    This causes me and my wife continued to stress because we use this computer for educational purposes, and we are a not far from our internet connection being removed completely if we are not how to solve this problem. What I understand, I just need to figure out how to get my computer to recognize my proxy server or IP address.
    If anyone has any advice it would be GREATLY appreciated!

    The 401 unauthorized error is a HTTP status code which means the page you tried to access cannot be loaded until you first log in with a valid user ID and password. If you have just logged in and received the 401 unauthorized error, it means that the credentials you entered were not valid for some reason any.

    Please make sure that the credentials you enter for your router are correct.

    As it works after you turn off the proxy server, it might be that the proxy address that sing you requires credentials.

    1. How was your proxy settings are configured initially?

    2 were the parameters provided by your Internet Service proxy provides?

    3. meet you the same problem in Internet Explorer too?
