Google chrome compatibility windows 7

Running Windows 7 ULTIMATE, BUT IS not COMPATIBLE WITH GOOGLE CHROME... WHAT SHOULD I DO TO FIX THIS? Sometimes Windows stops working when STARTING GOOGLE CHROME

What is the problem?  Google Chrome works fine (as fine as expected) with Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit).

Support for Google Chrome

Was not the last version released on 26/09/2011?

BTW - Google Chrome works or not is not a sign of a problem of compatibility OF THE operating system that you use - such as the operating system (whatever it is) works perfectly with Google Chrome, but Google Chrome doesn't work well without an operating system.

After downloading and installing Google chrome program does not open.
    Help, please

    Hello

When you uninstall Google Chrome you also remove the Chrome files that remain when the program is removed?  Verify that no files have been left after uninstalling.  The path to check (with hidden files showing) is:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Local

There you should see a folder with the name Google remove this folder and try to reinstall.  To get hidden files to show the computer open, select organize in the toolbar area.  We see the choice of folder and Search Options.  Click on that.  From there click on the view tab.  There is the option to show hidden files.  This will allow you to find the necessary space to remove the folder.

    Kind regards

  • Eloqua discover & Google Chrome Compatability

Has anyone else had problems with Eloqua Discover and Google Chrome compatibility? When our sales users using Chrome, they connect constantly to find out whenever they see a different prospect. It is EXTREMELY annoying and I'm sure it's going to prevent from using the application. Is there a parameter in Chrome which must be verified to work correctly?

    Hi Krista,

Looks like that the cookie is not saved correctly. Try to go into the settings in Chrome, advanced settings, and then click content under privacy settings. Make sure that you accept all cookies and add an exception for https://secure.eloqua.com . Aside from that, you can talk to your IT Department as there may be a permissions problem which does not Chrome access the cookie by Prospect Profiler (im going to assume that perspective Profiler is theyre using in this case app, because it requires a login all discover itself flows from your SFDC credentials).

  • Google Chrome on Windows 7 invites UAC

User account control opens every time that I start to Google Chrome. It was fine, initially, but now is not. Manually always say allow?

I have a better solution to the problem!

What do you think his debut by clicking on the start menu, find the icon of Google Chrome, right-click on the icon, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab, and then change the settings for all users and uncheck "run this program as an administrator". Save all settings and your good to go! I just did on windows 7 64 bit family and I saw no problems with it.

I checked on the computer and all the programs repeatedly and can find no viruses or other problems that might contribute. In addition, Chrome will not let me update, there no update to Google Chrome in the Tools menu, all. I have Windows 7 on an Asus laptop, but the Windows 7 compatibility setting is almost the worst parameters.

  • Google Chrome message "this computer will stop soon receive updates of Google Chrome for Windows Vista and Windows XP.

Is someone can you please tell me when Google Chrome will stop supporting 2007 Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista Home

    Go Mary

I posted a substitution for Vista and XP operating systems. Please follow my instructions in this thread, or switch to Mozilla Firefox or Opera browser:

    http://www.MSFN.org/Board/topic/175099-instructions-Google-chrome-end-of-support-VistaXp/

I always highly recommend to switch to Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or one of many other supported browsers.

While my dose turns off the message, you will NO longer receive updates of Google Chrome.

Given that Microsoft will support Vista at least a year, I don't understand Google dropping support early reasoning.

  • Uninstalled Google Chrome, but Windows Photo Gallery does not always work.

Using Vista Home Premium. Downloaded a program from small utility and it turns out Google Chrome, which I didn't, was grafted on the program and installed itself without my OK. I uninstalled the program utility and Google Chrome. With the help from here, I have eliminated the problem of links in the emails no longer works, but have been unable to get Windows Picture Gallery working again.

I renamed the file "pictures.pd4" as suggested here. That did not help.

Earlier you mentioned Pictures.pd4... that indicates a

  • HP 15 laptop: cannot download Google Chrome on Windows 8.1 / new laptop HP

Hi, I just bought this new laptop HP TODAY ' TODAY - and tried to download Google Chrome and set Google as my homepage because I work with Google products for the last 5 years and this is my preference.

However, as a first step, I get a message saying that I can't download Chrome, even though I checked the download is for Windows 8.1, then it has also triggered a virus infection and caused the security software do a scan of threat - three times!  Trying to just set Google as my home page, when I click on the button 'create' real, the screen freezes simply.

It's almost as if Yahoo / HP does not allow me to choose my browser and search engine... anyone know how to fix this?   I've never had this happen before.

    Thank you!!!

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

In this particular case, HP and Yahoo keep the computer to become the Chrome browser. Especially when you mentioned that triggered security a software alarm, this means that most likely you tried to download a fake copy of the Chrome browser and thanks be to God, the security software has prevented to install. It is quite common nowadays because it's popular software and impersonations exist. They sometimes appear on the top of the search result in the search engines, and they do not lead to the site from another server but the official seller.  In addition, if this is not the case, your computer may also have already been infected by certain pests that redirect your traffic to fake Chrome.

There is only one official place to download this product - official site of Google/sub-sub-site

Click here-online https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html and choose the blue download Chrome button in the middle of the page

Follow the instructions on the screen.

    A few additional instructions to Google-> https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95346?hl=en

Here are some other instructions how to set up the home page in Internet Explorer

To Google, instead of the blank page, you enter www.google.com as the address of the page

  • Error when using Google Chrome on Windows 7 x 64 BSOD.

    Hello

I am experiencing BSOD random days on a pretty new install of Windows 7. It is not that occur when you perform heavy tasks (when making music with lots of ram and CPU in use), but (I assume) when browsing with Google Chrome. It seems completely random, can not find the problem... I have a .dmp file and downloaded to my dropbox. Maybe someone can analyze and find the faulty driver or something?
    Link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10938251/MEMORY.rar
    Hope to hear from someone!
    Thank you
    Pablo

These accidents were caused by the corruption of memory (probably a driver).  Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

If you are overclocking reset all default before running these tests.
    In other words STOP!

    1 - Memtest.

    * Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. "http://www.memtest.org/#downiso"] Memtest86 + - Advanced Memory Diagnostic tool

    * Boot from the CD and let it run at least 5 or 6 passes.

Remember, anytime Memtest reports errors, it can be bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually and if you find a good, test it in all slots.

Any error is indicative of a memory problem.

If a well-known stick fails in a slot of motherboard, it's probably the slot.

    2. Driver Verifier

Using Driver Verifier is a dubious proposition. Most of the time it will crash and it will tell you what is the driver. But sometimes it will crash and will not tell you the driver. Sometimes it will crash until you can connect to Windows. If you can't mode without failure, then you will have to resort to editing the registry offline to disable driver verifier.

I suggest that you first back up your data and make sure you have access to another computer so you can contact us in case of problems. Then do a system restore point (so you can restore the system using the functionality of Vista/Win7 Startup Repair).

In Windows 7, you can do a startup repair disk by clicking Start... All programs... Maintenance... Create a system - with Windows Vista repair disc, you need to use your drive installation or from the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu.

    So, here is the procedure:
-Go to start and type "auditor" (without the quotes) and press enter
-Select 'Create a custom settings (for code developers)' and click 'Next '.
-Select "Select individual settings from the list complete" and click "Next".
-Select the entire document except for "Low resource Simulation" and click "next".
-Select "Select driver names from a list", then click "next".
Select all drivers that are NOT provided by Microsoft, and then click "Next".
-On the next page, select "Finish".

Restart the system and wait as he crashed to blue screen. Continue to use your system normally and if you know what are the causes of the crash, do it several times. The objective here is to get the system crash because Driver Verifier is stressing out the drivers. If it is not planted for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you are unable to Windows because it crashes too early, try safe mode.
If you can't mode without fail, try to use the system from the installation DVD restore to bring the system back to the previous point of restoration that you created.

  • Cannot open google chrome in windows 8?

I downloaded google chrome, I prefer IE as my search engine, but the only way I can access is by searching for it in Solution Explorer.  I have it open rather directly from the start with a page tile.  I did in XP very well, so why the sentence now?

Thanks for the reply, Ronnie, but I've done everything as before.  When I try to open google search or google chrome, all I get is the start page all over again.  I tried to open the office and the same result.   It seems that Microsoft is forcing me to use IE?  I'd rather there is a tip on 8 window to allow me to do what I want.
