However, while it worked, and I could see the desktop of my laptop, the problem has been the wireless range. The signal disappear when I wore the laptop in the back room on the first floor. It would have been a distance of 10 meters in a straight line between the laptop and desktop. There are walls two bricks and a floor between the two machines. It seemed hopeless, so I sent the PCI card.
