Emails"from"me that I did not send.

A few months ago I noticed that someone sent strange letters from my account. I see these emails in the emails, but not in the "sent mail" box of my account. I've already changed many times that my password and even put in place double check with an additional access code system, but the problem continue to persist. What can I do?

Thank you

Anna

  • Received an email from myself that I've not sent!

I received an email in my spam from my own email address - but I did not send the message!

It happened only once and I have loaded about 3 pieces of a strain of the virus on my computer (Dell Dimension 8300) to clean it out. It was months ago and now reappeared barely (I was monitoring it).

I have since run the adaware and spybot, AVG on the PC to delete, but I need to know if I should just delete this email address? -What is the email address that has been compromised or my PC? And how avoid that my email hijacked like that? Once that my email has been hacked it right? Should I just create a new one?

AdAware seemed to get something in my documents and settings (rather than General cookies) and who was kidnapped, but I want to know how it got there because I have all these pieces of virus on anyway?

PS - no one I know (in my AddressBook) received the same email from me.

Is it a coincidence that I moved my PC/internet connection on the same day and had bad plug or do any e-mail address that I put to the top of my machine, it will be hijackable? I have to get my PC cleaned by a professional? Or use virus checkers enough?

PS - I have too many virus checkers on anyway? someone once said that too many is just as bad as anything?

I know there are a lot of questions here - grateful for any help, thank you

  • Random numbers to send SMS that I did not send.

So, my phone has recently more than 70 messages sent to a large random number and text is long and in another language like Chinese or something. I never sent anything to a number like that. Also, I received an e-mail saying that my Apple ID was signed to another device which I have no gift too. Just today, my boyfriend's best friend got a text saying to click on a link and I wouldn't show pictures but in don't even have her number, I need my phone at all and he got the text of a number, we were not familiar with. He had my Facebook profile with her picture. Help, please!

  • I received undeliverable emails 15 to 03:19 and did not send emails to the addresses listed.

I need to speak with someone from undeliverable emails that I did not create. I can be reached at +++ * +++ * +++

Change the telephone number of the public to prevent the search bots to find.

There is no phone support and display of your phone number is not a good idea. If you are too careless with your e-mail it is not surprising that a spammer has copied and it uses the return address of the Junk they send.
There is nothing you can do to stop them now. They'll get bored with you soon and move to a new address borrowed. They probably don't use your real account, just the address. If they have been sent from your account messages would be in your "sent" folder.
Be more protective of your personal information and stop posting in a public forum.

My contacts receive e-mails from me that I didn't send it please can you advise me what to do.

    Hello

Which is called Spoofing and its pretty easy for a spammer to make. Of course, it does
it look like you or the other person has sent the e-mail. Someone intercepted an email and
It may not be you who caused him. Account of a friend could have been consulted
or even someone could have sent an email on your behalf to someone else who has been
compromise. Your friend can access headers and block the real senders of
    those who will change often.

  • After saving the emails from windows live mail, why not open them on my computer as the file extension is wlmail.fol?

After saving the emails from windows live mail, why not open them on my computer as the file extension is wlmail.fol?

wlmail.fol is a tiny text giving the name of the folder. The exported messages will have filenames like 00D13E83 - 000025DF.eml. If you don't see all of the files like this, your export probably did not work properly.

For a successful export, follow these directions:

    1. Set Windows Live Mail to work offline before starting.
    2. Create a temporary folder on your desktop * to contain the exported messages.
    3. In the Export Wizard, select the temporary folder, and then select all the folders.* *
    4. When it is complete, check that the number of files in each folder to the temporary folder is one more than the number of messages in the corresponding folder of WLMail.
    5. Copy the temporary file to its final destination.
If you use a reader not NTFS to do this, you will see a warning that certain file properties will not be copied files. This can be ignored.

    * Windows Live Mail do not work with files that are not on a local drive, as opposed to an external or network drive. This is avoided by using the office as a temporary folder location.
    * If you want to export the files sampled only, select each of them containing messages. Subfolders are not automatically selected by default.
