employees - libraries

Hello

I saw in a video from Adobe Max, you might on a project and work with others about the new libraries feature. But under my menu 'actions' on the creative cloud site is not mentioned "collaborate".

When will this apply to everyone?

Best regards

Tommy

@Adobe, thank you for adding the feature. So this problem seems to be fixed in the update for today, was held.

  • How to organize the libraries & events

    Hello

I am very familiar with older versions of FCP, organized in the new clip is so difficult for me to understand.

Can someone explain to me how to use libraries and events to stay more organized? Or point me in the direction of an article or page that explains it?

I will give you general information on the way in which I use the program... I'm working on videos on security for a construction company. I'm going to go out and get the interviews used why security is important to them, and we kick off each video with a few of their responses. Then the rest of the video is on a topic of special security rules, then it includes an interview with a security professional, some b-roll of the guys working on our sites and narration.

I find it frustrating that when I import clips he sorts them by date, and I can't reorganize or rename how they are grouped. For example, I would like to group together all the clips of the employee called 'interviews with employees' and be able to collapse can have a category called "field shots" or "b-roll"; and another group for professional discussions of security. My biggest beast is the date... because I could film interview employee today and then again the next week and they are away from each other when I look at my clips & I can't move them so that they are all side by side for when I want to add to my project.

Any help would be appreciated... or if you think it's better explained in person, let me know and I'll put in place an individual session.

    Thank you!

Encrassante out dates in the popup of action in the toolbar. Change of content created on None.

Use collections of keywords to interviews of employees in the group, shots on the ground, b-roll.

  • When the employee what happens in an InDesign library if the person shares the library leaves creative cloud?

When the employee what happens in an InDesign library if the person shares the library leaves creative cloud?

Disappeared from the library, or you can still access it? And is it possible to export libraries?

Example: We have a general account of creative cloud for freelancers or employees to use on a workstation. We have created several libraries that we then fall to the members of the team. If we close this g/l account, what happens to all the libraries? Can we change ownership, or export or what? Any ideas? Thoughts?

    Thank you!

Found the work around on my own. Everything you have to do is to copy a library someone has shared with you and add it to your library and makes you the owner also.

  • Is it possible to edit an asset recorded in CC libraries?

    Hello

I wonder if its possible to edit an asset (such as a vector logo) that is stored in libraries CC?

We are looking at using CC libraries as a means to synchronize customer logos between the studio together and I was wondering if it is possible to make a change, save it and have that change synchronization across all employees.

I tried @adobecare asking but they I passed on to the forums! !

Yes, double-click on the assets in the library.

  • Question of libraries CC

The company I work for is switching to new creative cloud accounts of adobe, but we have a bunch of indesign CC libraries we created because our team share them through the cloud. But what I've said, there is no way to transfer these libraries to my new account because my old account is the 'owner' and once this account is closed (which will be soon) you lose all the libraries. How is that possible? I thought that libraries are stored locally and just sync via the cloud, so why are they not transferable?

This seems to be a massive oversight that no info or settings are transferable through accounts adobe. I moved jobs twice now and each time, I lose. Adobe is aware that people will work for several companies throughout their lives and businesses will lose employees with accounts that are related to their files and workflow that they should make their accounts more transfer friendly so you should not lose your settings, information and libraries whenever you get a new account? Many stories of adobe business based it seems ridiculous that there is absolutely no way to do it? Please tell me I'm wrong and there is an easy way to do it.

You can use the functionality to send the link and Save on creative cloud for copy libraries into a new account.

    1. go to a library that you want to copy. In the action menu, select send a link.

    2. in the send link dialog box click the button Create Link Public .

    3. you will see a Link Public which can be opened.

    4. this Public link open in a second browser (or incognito in the same browser window) when you are connected to your new account. Click the Save button in the creative cloud. (Note that my screenshot doesn't have me connected to a second account - in this case by clicking on the button invites you to connect with an Adobe ID).

  • Can I get training on site for my employees?

I have a team of employees who are not the right users of our devices iPhone Mobile 6.  Most simply use their phones as phones (phone/e-mail-mail/text and the occasional photo).

Ideally, I would like to have a trainer come to our national sales and make a training session with them:

This course (or a version of it for about 50 vendors) would be perfect, I think.

    iPhone Basics (in English)

New to iPhone? This workshop is a great way to learn about the new features and pick up some tips, tricks and practices.

Is this possible?  Anyone know who I would contact to get there?

You can contact your local Apple store and ask them

  • Logic not able to load old libraries of Alchemy - Setup does not properly

I have Alchemy for a while - long before it was incorporated into the logic. I bought the full version and a few Camel Audio sound libraries while it still existed. When moving to a new computer and run the installer for the plug-in, it is unable to find my sound libraries, even if they are in the right place. Any ideas? Very frustrating.

I used the AlchemyMac-1-55 - 0.pkg to run the installer.

All libraries and presets are MacHD - Library - Application Support - Camel Audio Alchemy.

Also tried MacHD - user - Music - Audio-Music applications - plug in support - Alchemy. But in vain.

    Any help appreciated,

    Thank you

If you are running a version of Logic Pro X that has integrated Alchemy, I remember some problem with running in Alchemy is the old standalone product.

  • Delete recent libraries Dock?

I love being able to right click on the FCPX icon in the dock, and then choose which library I want to open.

Recently, however, I had cause to return to a backup and trying to find the copy says that I needed, I had to open several versions of the library in question, before you find the right pair.

Copies known of these libraries have been removed since then but now I find it quite irritating that they always appear in the list when I right click on the FCPX icon.

Does anyone know how to remove unwanted items from this list?

At the same time, I remember seeing a clear recent in this menu, but it's not here now.  Not sure how you would do that.  But here's a better way to follow your FCPX libraries.

    http://www.finalcutprox.guru/page0/blog/files/smart_folders.html

In addition, you can hold down Option key at the launch of FCPX for a list of reinventing and a way to open a specific library without having to open others.

  • Cannot open libraries iTunes since 12.5.1 updated

I applied the new iTunes 12.5.1 update yesterday and since I couldn't open one of my iTunes library.  I have three libraries in all, each stored on external disk, and I get the following error when I try to open libraries:

"An iTunes library file is not found in the folder < folder_name >.  Please choose a different folder. »

I also sometimes an unknown error message 13010, so I deleted the file .itdb of engineering for each library to no effect.

I'm on Mac OS X - not had problems with the help of libraries and iTunes on an external drive yesterday.  Someone at - it a similar problem or ideas on how to fix?

    Thank you.

I managed to work around this problem by using a previous backup of the library in each case.  Thread can be closed.

  • Former libraries aren't going away!

    Hi people:

I use often "CLT" or "RT", click the icon of the PCF in the dock to launch one of my recent libraries of CPF.  For some reason, old libraries that I finished and completely deleted my computer and my readers will always display in the choice to open FCP.  If I try the 'open' nothing happens - FCP is not even launch (I guess because they do not exist).  However, they still appear in the list of "recent" on the dock.  For the life of me I can't find a way to get rid of these "ghosts" of the past.  I tried trashing prefs.  I tried clearing recent in the Menu open, I even tried to "throw" from the dock as you do to get rid of the program icons, that you no longer need it.  All to nothing does not.  Does anyone know how to clear these if "recent" not of the dock once and for all.  I fear to imagine the 'ghosts' list that might still be there after a year of work.

    I'm running 10.2.3 - with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 - FCPX on a 2015 21.5-inch iMac - 2.8 GHz Intal Core i5 - 8 GB ram - Intel Pro Iris 6200 1536 MB

Would appreciate some help or ideas.

    Norm

    (1) file-> open library-> Clear recent; (This will affect the list in the application but the Dock remains the same)

    (2) sign out and then sign back in. now the recent clear effect that will appear in the Dock.

  • Explain the relationship between libraries, albums and photos in pictures.  Where are the images stored?

Looking for info on the relationship between libraries, albums and photos in the Photos app.  I can create several libraries containing photos and unique albums.  Can I put the same photo in libraries and the different albums?  By making a copy it creates a link to the original or a new photo?  Where are located the photo files?  When scanning photo to my Mac Pro files are placed in a folder structure, copy these photos in an album Photos using the original file or he places a copy in a database?

Bottomline, I'm frustrated by the method of collection, the albums, the place and date.  I want store related photos in a separate album.   Example: A library for a family, containing albums of members of their family. Maybe the photos have duplicate in different albums.

Yes, but the multimedia files are hardlinked and do not take place twice.

  • Libraries of different ESX24 samples?

Please can someone explain why I find different versions of the libraries of the ESX24 samples in Logic Pro X? Let me give you an example: if I create a new track of software and go to Orchestral-> Strings, I see this in the library:

But if I create a new track of software, select EXS24 in the channel strip and then go to the Orchestral-> Strings, I see this in the library:

Are these different samples? And stored in different places?

Hi Broadskins, when you click on left of the channel strip settings (placed above the area of the EQ) that you look at the PATCHES of library, not the sounds of ESX24. (your first photo attached)

When you click on left the ESX24 (or any that you instrument can be loaded) you look at its sounds from library or its own presets. (your second photo attached)

Don't forget the small BLUE arrow on the left of the boxes is that you said that you look in the

    Library on the left.
