  If you place your cursor over the name of the collection without selecting it can you use the right-click of the mouse and the menu, choose Remove?

  On a Mac, the path to the collection is not found in the user's library (hidden by default OS x 10.7, use menu Go with option and the library display)

  User (your name) / library / application Support / Adobe / Bridge CS xx / Collections. Inherent are the names of collection that can also be removed manually.

• Empty collection "All photographs" in 2.6

  I recently installed Lightroom 2.6.  In my menu of folders on the left side of the screen, I see all of my folders, and when I select one, the pictures in thumbnails appear as it should.  However, if I select "all photos", I get a message "no pictures in the selected item. Can someone tell me how to restore the folder "all photographs"?

  In the grid view, select View/Show filter bar in the menu. Turn off your filters. By clicking on 'None' had to do.

  The empty SightSpeed records record is a direct result of your Logitech Vid installation. The file is harmless and will remain empty unless the function to record video calls is implemented in Vid.

  It seems to be just a record created and will have nothing on the record unless you use the video recording option. You can test this information by recording a video call.

  I'll assume that the empty folder is not a problem.

  I moved my Lightroom Catalog from another computer. All my files are correct, but my Collections records point to a drive letter does not exist, and I get the error that there are duplicates.

  I think the best thing to do is to copy the old catalog of the any file to the new computer and place it in its own nine empty folder. Then change in Windows, the drive letters E on the new computer becomes G (as it was on the old computer). Then double-click the Lightroom from the old computer catalog to open it, and everything should be good.

  I met some performance issues and came to the conclusion that memory structures (collections / nested tables) are passed by value (so over and over again copied) rather than spend them.

  Yes, they are - which is described in the section of the PL/SQL language about the NOCOPY hint doc:

  Setting up of the PL/SQL Applications for performance

  By default, OUT and IN OUT parameters are passed by value. The values of a IN OUT settings are copied before the delivery of the subprogramme.

  During the execution of the subprogramme, temporary variables to maintain the output parameter values. If the subprogram exits normally, these values are copied to the actual parameters. If the subprogram exits with an unhandled exception, the original settings are unchanged.

  When the parameters represent structures of large data such as collections, records and instances of object types, this reproduction slows down execution and uses memory. In particular, this overload applies to each call to a method of the object: temporary copies are made of all attributes, so that any changes made by the method are only apply if the method ends normally.

  To avoid this overload, you can specify the NOCOPY trick, which allows the PL/SQL compiler to pass OUT and IN OUT parameters by reference. If the subprogram exits normally, the action is the same as usual. If the subprogramme leaves at the beginning with an exception, the values of OUT and IN OUT parameters (or the attributes of the object) can still change. To use this technique, check that the subroutine handles all exceptions.

  The following example requires the compiler to pass IN OUT parameter v_staff by reference to avoid copying the input and output of the subprogramme varray:

  The code you have posted works as expected:

  This first line calls the "ttt" procedure that uses only the OUTPUT parameters. Pass you a unitialized collection. This procedure done so that

  t_ret_inout: = tt (v_index_in);

  This line COPIES the element of the colllection 'tt' to the collection "t_ret_inout". Oracle doesn't use pointers and the "tt" reference is NOT that a parameter so don't have nothing to do with NOCOPY.

  Then, you set 99 in the new collection that was returned.

  Then you print the 99 of the new collection, and you print the "1" in the collection.

  What else do you expect? You have two different collections.

  The NOCOPY indicator prevents Oracle copy collections that are passed, be referred by, procedures or functions. As I've just shown the use of 'tt' by the "ttt" procedure is NOT being passed to, be referred by, the procedure.

• How to use the record type as a parameter IN PL/SQL procedure or package

  I need help on the record as the OUT parameter type. I am able to get out a single line as a parameter, but not getting do not idea how to get a multi ranks as output parameter.

• Recording a video demo of full-screen as a slide of record

  I'm used to create empty projects with different types of slides - simulations, demos, content slides, etc.  If you choose to record a demo video inside these presentations, it seemed forced to switch my application window in the small red box.  If I record a new video demonstration as a project, I have a lot more options like mode full screen.

  Is there a way to record a video fullscreen demo as empty a record slide to insert into my project?  I know that I check just a bunch of individual projects video demo as insert as 'media' in my vacuum was planning, but what disturbs and lots of time.  It also creates confusion because the project itself and the video demonstration both of control bars.

  Try to record a video demo inside Photoshop, for example, is really difficult inside this little tiny window.  Also, I prefer not not pan, which I find shocking and useless for my students.

  Any thoughts?

  First, you should note that with any project you create (assessment Simulation, demo, demo, Etc.) once you configure this initial size, that's what you are locked in. So if your computer maybe has a resolution of 1366 x 768 and you create a project at 800 x 600, there is no way to really present a slide to a size larger than 800 x 600, because it is the resolution of your project. Of course, you are able to record a video demo to create a CPVC file, then inside one. File CPTX, you can click Insert > CPVC Slide (at least in version 7, it's how it's done. May be different if you use 8).

  You can, however, add some tools to zoom and pan for the video demo. I know that you are avoiding panoramic, but one can think of pan in the type "stop motion" registration and pan is not that you're able to achieve using the video demo.
