The key was the update of the firmware, I think.

    Hi @hunterj1957

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you are unable to access one of the applications on your Photosmart Premium C310 printer.

  • How to enable web services and search for printer email address

I am trying to sign up for the monthly INK from HP.  As part of the application, they ask me a CODE.  However, I can't CODE because I am advised that my Web services are not enabled.  How to enable Web services so that I can complete my application?  Thanks for any help you can offer me.

    Hello

What model of printer you have?

Assuming your eprint-enabled printer, please follow the steps below to connect to web services and get your email from the printer.

To find printers e-mail you need to enable web services from the front panel of the printer. It is normally a button on the front panel or an option in a menu.

The printer will be connected to your WiFI network, and once the device is activated, it should display a page with a code composed of letters and numbers. It is the e-mail address of printers (when you add a @hpeprint.com to it).

Once you have this, go ahead and configure a connected HP account and register the printer to your account. This will allow you to manage settings of the ePrint printer but also to track the history of the work.

  • 8610 enabling Web Services gives the error "Unable to connect to the server.

    Hello.

I'm looking to enable web services and get the message 'Unable to cnnect to the server. In this case, if I try to make the printer itself, or via the web interface.

I followed the steps listed here: Re: HP Officejet Pro Service webization 8610 and it has not solved the problem. The printer is not connected wireless, it is connected via an ethernet cable. I have a static IP address set, and I have a manual DNS server is entered. For DNS, I tried 8.8.8.8 as well a DNS server in-house, and have solved the problem

I haver tried restarting the printer after you make these changes.

Web services previously worked on this printer, but then stopped, giving me the same "cannot connect to the server" message. I tried to remove Web services and time it and got to this point.

The printer has been already updated the new firmware listed under the product support for this printer, version FDP1CN1416AR page.

    Thank you for your help.

For anyone who is faced with this problem. The problem ended up being that the date was incorrectly set in the printer.

From the web interface, you can adjust the date by going to settings > Preferences > Date & time. There is a checkbox to synchronize the date and time of the computer you connected from.

  • CAN; t enable web service on HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a

N911a HP Officejet Pro 8600 that we have installed this printer as a network printer.  Everything works fine except that I can't activate the Web service to printing or scanning to an e-mail.  He says that the printer is unable to access the internet.

Hello. Power cycle the printer and the router to see if that will clear up the error message. Do disconnect the router and then turn the printer off using the power button. Then plug the router back in and once it is up a running, turn on the printer and try to reconnect to the web services

Then, if he is still unable to connect, I would set a static DNS on the printer. To set a static DNS, you must Access the built-in web server (EWS). Do so you by entering the IP address of the printer in the address bar of the browser of your choice.

Once it opens your Officejet EWS, locate the tab titled 'network '. From there, look in the left column on the new page that will pop up and select IPv4, wired or wireless will depend on how the printer is connected to the network. That will bring up the page set static DNS. This will be the 2nd part of this page.

Set the radial dial to the manual. Then, for the favorite/Primary manual DNS, set it to 8.8.8.8 and the manual Alternative/secondary to 8.8.4.4; then click on apply.
NOTE: If another message with an option to click on 'OK' is displayed, read this message. Most of the time there is an option to cancel the change you did right and you want to avoid to click on this message. Just sail away this page by clicking on another tab.
Power cycle the printer. Once the printer is upward and through calibrations to turn on. Try again to connect to web services by touching the icon.

  • Photosmart wireless 6510 works very well, but how now to enable web services & eprint?

New wireless photosmart 6510 works well with my laptop (Windows 7) to home & router; How can I activate the web & eprint services NOW? During the initial installation, I was short of time and I think that the antivirus intervened and I don't have a printer email address. He said that I could do it later - how? When I use the Web Services Panel to printer it tells me that I am not connected to the server.

Is there a pure easy way to add web services now without upsetting my wireless network settings?

    bjhulse22,

The steps below a usually resolve the problem you are experiencing:

    1. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

    2. unplug the power cord at the back of your router (and the modem, if they are separated from the router).

    3. wait 20 seconds, then plug the router (and the modem, if necessary) in.

    4. wait for 30 seconds, then plug the printer back and power.

    5. press the button on the front of the printer ePrint, and it should try to connect to Web Services again.

These steps usually fix the problem, but if it persists, you can try definition of network information static for the printer (which is sometimes useful to stabilize the ability of the printer to get outside of your network to the internet):

    1. print a Configuration Page from network network printer or wireless menu.

(Select the wireless icon, select 'Settings', select "Display Network Configuration", select "Print Info")

    2. open a Web browser and type the IP address of product (from the network Page of Configuration) in the address line. The HP - Embedded (EWS) Web server should open.

    3. click on the tab 'Network' (in the top menu), then click on the 'Networking' link (in the left menu), then click on the link "network address (IP).

    4. click on the small round button next to the "Manual of intellectual property", then fill in the fields with the information from the Page of Network Configuration (IP address, subnet mask and default gateway).

    5. under "Setting up the DNS addresses", fill in the fields with the following text:

    -Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8

    -Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4

    6. click on the "Apply" button and the settings must be updated. Once the settings are updated, turn the printer off and then back on.

    7. try to reactivate Web Services.

Let me know if you have any other questions, please!

I have the LaserJet 1606dn and it prints very well connected via USB to an iMac (OS X 10.6.8).) I'm trying to configure for ePrint.

I'm trying to enable Web Services on this new LaserJet.  I am in the built-in Web Server page and the configuration of Web Services tab.  I clicked on 'Turn on' and it just keeps spinning in connection...

    DNS is 8888 and 8844

All the other tabs work; It is connected to the computer and the Internet.  Help please?

    Thank you!

    Hi @crowndude,

I see that you have problems with Web Services. I want to help you.

I have provided a few steps to try to see if we can solve this problem.

Turn off IPv6 on the printer.

Go to configuration, network configuration, network, IPv6 Services and turn it off.

This DNS works better for Laserjet printers. Please change the settings to see if this will help the printer built-in Web server.

    Preferred DNS address: 209.244.0.3
    Auxiliary DNS address: 209.244.0.4

    Power cycle the printer.

If you still have questions, please continue with the following steps:

Update the firmware of the printer by a USB connection. HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP Firmware update M177fw.

Configure a static IP address for the printer. Proceed to Solution 3: printer of the assign a static IP address.

Printer HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw and HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw and M128fw printers - printer does not keep the Wi - Fi connection.

I'll send you another step to try in a private message.

  • Impossible to activate the services web ePrint for Color LaserJet M551

    Hello

I read all the posts in this forum about the web services enabling ePrint to the question and tried all suggestions with no luck.

    Here's the situation:

    1. The printer works fine on place. I can print without problem.
    2. The printer is connected.
    3. All my router ports are open for outbound connections, including UDP.
    4. Communication using log in my router I can see that the printer can resolve DNS names using either my ISP DNS server or the suggested 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Using nslookup shows ' registration-pro - site1print.houston.hp.com "Decides to 15.240.60.111 and" registration-pro - site2print.houston.hp.com "Decides to 15.201.224.79.
This indicates that the printer can indeed resolve the addresses. Newspapers also Awakenings that the printer communicates with the servers (connection is established and data transferred) via https (probably the web service), but always after a few minutes the clearance process is to expire.
    5. I tried this allowing the procedure since a few days my believe that the recording servers should have worked some time during this period.
    6. I'm frustrated
    7. .. .even more frustrated
    8. what I am doing wrong?
    9. Help, please!

  • Web Service with Laserjet 200 M251nw connection error

I searched other messages here and tried everything.  I can't get the Web Service works with this printer.  It works fine connected locally.  It has a fixed local IP address.   I put the printer in the DMZ router.  I put the DNS settings to Google's servers.  I checked the firmware, and this is the last 20121026.

Enable Web Services.  Then he comes back and says success is waiting for the briefing, but he never comes.  I go to the HP ePrint tab and I see it has an e-mail address assigned, but when I ask another information paper, the 'connection error' returns.  I sent by email to the address and nothing happens.

I bought my son a chromebook for Christmas and I would like for him to be able to print to it.  Help!

I finally got this working.   I ended up buying a new router, but I was ready to be upgraded in all cases.  It works very well with this new router (D-Link DIR - 860L).

Before I had a router ASUS RT - N16 running DD - WRT, but I loaded the latest firmware ASUS when I couldn't get this to work.  It did not matter.  The router seems to hang after the registration of the printer with another firmware, so I decided it was the router as well as the HP support line.

Now everything works such as documented.

  • M176n MFP: MFP M176n will not activate Web Services

I bought two MFP176n and tried to activate Web Services to print remotely. It does not work. The computer, I have access to the Services Web page on the unit IP address and use the button 'enable '. It run and run, but nothing happens. I see by a few points running on the screen on the printer. They're going to infinity.

As part of attempts, I've updated the firmware of the device - it's now at 20150228. This has not changed the behavior anyway.

BTW, I also tried DNS manuals with addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as suggested in a previous post. No change.

EPrint from mobile devices (Android and Ipad) worked on the first day, but only when she is on the LAN...

    Hello @andershl,

Welcome to the HP support forums.

I understand that your M176n will not allow Web Services.

    I would like to help.

Personally, I found that the Google DNS works best with inkjet printers.

For LaserJet, I use DNS of Level3 address.

    Primary: 209.244.0.3

    Secondary: 209.244.0.4

If Web Services are still not allowing, turn the printer off and disconnect the power supply to the router for about a minute.

Plug everything back in and turn the printer.

When the network has emerged again, try to enable Web Services.
