Block or allow cookies

This information applies to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.

Internet Explorer offers different ways to control the cookies that are stored on your computer. You can block or allow cookies or you can choose the specific sites that you'll accept cookies. When you make these kinds of changes, the cookies already stored on your computer will not be affected. For this reason, you can delete cookies already stored on your computer before following the steps below. See Cookies: frequently asked questions for more information.

This has happened since the new Sync has been set up, so I think that nearly 30 FF. I'm now up to 34 FF version and it still does not work. I was not able to sync from the "update".

Go to about: accounts in Mode safe mode gives the same result. I deleted all my cookies and my cache, FF restarted several times with and without active modules and still nothing. • Enable Cookies for all users

      Hello

      I have a series of computers that run the mozilla firefox. For some reason, firefox handling cookies is disabled by default for everyone who uses a computer. I can activate on a per user basis, but it's tedious. Not to mention he's totally confusing to end users as to why some web sites do not work. Is there a way to enable cookies for all users on a computer without having to re-sysprep and copying to a new default profile for each of the computers? Something about: config, maybe?

      You can use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify new values (default).

      Put a local file - settings.js in the folder defaults\pref also the file prefs.js - channel where to specify using mozilla.cfg.

      pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");

      These functions can be used in the mozilla.cfg file:

      defaultPref(); // set new default value
      pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session
      lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes

      3. Once you see the Advanced Boot Options menu (or beep) you can stop.
      4. Up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
      5. Select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER.
      6. You should see drivers loading, it may take a few moments.
