  For evolution property press the Alt/Option key and click on the stopwatch in the effects for the evolution property Panel, then type in your expression.

  To set Matte you need two layers. As Dave said, you find the option use for Matte and select the layer you want to use.

  Set property "reporter Panel" updates on the front panel of the VI true before the beginning of your code, and set it to false afterwards. This should stop the table blinking when you disable and change the color and will considerably speed up updates.

  I'm creating an application in which I have a main program running under three - VI with their visible facades in sub-panels on the main program.

  I want the main program to be able to send data to the Subvi for initiation settings where each message to each Subvi would be different and a common stop etc.  (it will be a group of initialization parameters and a stop ctl Boolean)

  I don't know it's probably subjective, however what is the 'best' way to transfer this data to or from a Subvi, lacking access to the connector pane?  I tried currently Global Variables and method of Ctrl Val.Set and do not know what are the benefits of a more than another's? Or is it a better overall solution - I've heard people speak of notifies on globals, but do not know how this could be implemented without the connector pane?

  I generally use the queues and the authors of notifications when dealing with the sub-panels.  You can get a reference to a queue or the notifier without using the connector pane by plugging in the name Terminal on the function get.  I sometimes destroy the queue to force an error in high school to get out by an error state.  controlValue.Set is good for the initial values of the parameters before the subpannel is executed and could be used for the infrequent control changes. Controlvalue.set access to the UI thread and is relatively slow compared to the transmission of the data via a queue or the notifier.  If several values at once uses the property "reporter Panel" updated (set to true during the changes) to significantly improve performance.

  Quick question, when I have a required item and navigate on this one I can not navigate out of the element until I have the data entry, however, I vaugley remember there is a property somewhere that even if you are in a required element, it allows you to navigate on this point to other elements on the same disk and only checks the required elements during the recording of the record.   Updating of the region not cascade. Refresh action is required for each region or subregion. For regions classic report and tabular forms enable partial Page Refresh , property report must be enabled.

• [XML report] Stage custom SequenceCall created, but cannot filter by new property

  I got in trouble, reference to a property of a custom step of SequenceCall that I created.  The idea is to add a field to the SequenceCall I can fill it with an Expression of Post and then filter this SequenceCall if it is a string.

  I have attached a screenshot which should clarify things more.  What it shows is that when looking at the XML source (left) from the standard property "ReportText" is located in the same container of "TEResult" as my new property 'profile '.  This similarity of structure is reinforced by TestStand display of the newly created 'Clemente_SequenceCall' (top-right).  However, when I try to access the text of the 'profile' of all the body of the report does not make due to an error somewhere above the function of "CheckIfStepSatisfiesFilteringCondition()".  What is strange is that I can access the text of "ReportText" very well and conduct audits against it to filter a call of the sequence.  The two properties, and the lines of code are so similar that I am puzzled by what Miss me.

  

  Since it is a custom property that have all the steps, should I check first if the profile property exists?  Unfortunately I have no idea how to proceed.  I feel somehow depends on the operand 'typeof' in javascript, but my first attempts to compare it to 'undefined' did not work...

• How to get report ATML6.01 callerName-property

  I try to analyse an ATML6.01 TestStand report to generate the report simple high level indicating success/failure information and the test case to the Excel format. To do this, I need to read callerName-ATML report properties.

  I tried to do a VI that uses reading data express VI read channel group and get property VI read callerName-property but channel group contains only the following properties: name, ID, testReferenceID, startDateTime and endDateTime.

  Looking at the ATML report, the channel TestGroup group contains the following information: for some reason callerName cannot be read with reading data express VI. Is there another way to read this information?

  I discovered that use ATML_5 (http://www.ni.com/example/31570/en/) defines what information is read from the ATML report. However, the file is encrypted, so it cannot be changed. Would be nice if NEITHER updates the use, so it also callerName-property could be read from the ATML report.

  Or can you suggest another method to analyze the ATML report?

  We have difficulties to access the fields of the EnterpriseTrack database. Fields are entered through our workflow process, but are not available on all reports or dashboards. We are considering the use of a tool for reporting on the database to access the data. User documentation indicates that access is available through JDBC.

  Answer please if you have experience with this kind of access.

  We are working on a number of solutions of reporting for future releases.  Your request does not fall on the deaf ears, as everyone wants solutions more.  Currently, in order to create pluggable reports, you must have access to the base application and the data layer.  Only a few people have this access.  Just like your thought above, we look at the external BI options which should have access to all data.

  I use a custom to report on the tables in the Data Modeler.

  A section of the report contains information about the columns. So I added among others, PK, FK column property and mandatory element. The columns appear in the report, but remain always empty, although the columns Pk, FK or mandatory.

  If I use the standard report for tables, the columns mentioned are met.

  Is it possible to copy the standard report to see how this report is built?

  There is a bug when generating custom reports from the file-> reports. But everything goes well during the generation of the custom of the search engine report.

  Bug will be fixed in the next version.
