  Something like Belarc to find your product key. The only other way to reorganize the recovery media to restore factory system, if they still have this will restore also your product key as well. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a new product key for Microsoft if you reformatted the system with a different version of Windows 7 other then what comes from the factory install.

  Where was the product key you have lost?

  And you have a pre-installed OEM license or a retail license?

  If it is an OEM preinstalled contact license (Acer, Toshiba, etc.), the manufacturer and, ask them if you have a recovery Partition and if so, how to use it to reinstall the operating system to a new State by pressing F10, F11, or a sequence of different at startup button. or if you do not have a recovery partiiton asked to send you recovery disks, what they should do for a small fee.
