• EPM 11.1.2.3.500 and IE10 compatibility issues

  Maybe I missed something, but after I installed the 500PSU and using IE10, I found the following:

  I am able to connect in the workspace and HFM with no compatibility setting (native IE10)

  I am only able to connect to the FDM with IE10 in compatibility mode

  Is this normal or did I miss something on the side FDM, I thought all EMP 11.1.2.3.500 IE10 certified?

  Did you follow the additional steps for FDM in the Readme for the 11.1.2.3.500 patch? I have them copied below:

  Additional steps for managing the quality of financial data

  If you plan to use Internet Explorer 10 with FDM, please add to IIS 7 and IIS 6 HTTP response header, by following the steps below:

  Adds a header of HTTP to IIS 7 response:

  1. Open IIS.
  2. Expand the server name in the left pane: expand Sites, and then expand default Web site, and select HyperionFDM.
  3. In the right pane, under IIS, double-click HTTP response headers.
  4. On the right, under Actions, click Add.
  5. Add new response HTTP X-UA-Compatible header name and the IE value = EmulateIE9.
  6. Save the changes.
  7. Recycle the AppPool HyperionFDMAppPool.

  Adds a for IIS 6 HTTP response header:

  1. Open IIS.
  2. Expand the server name in the left pane: expand Web Sites, and then expand default Web Site, and select HyperionFDM.
  3. Right-click on the HyperionFDM site and click Properties.
  4. Select the HTTP Headers tab.
  5. Under the custom HTTP headers, click Add.

• Patch Oracle EPM 11.1.2.3.500

  Hello

  I intend to apply the patch 500 to EMP 11.1.2.3.000 version.

  First condition is a software of Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package after that I need to apply the Patch Update Set (PSU): 17529887 for all products Hyperion and Essbase Server 17767302

  So my question is

  1) do we need to apply the patches of the ADF? If Yes, what are the numbers of patch? Do we need to apply the ADF patch before applying the patch 17529887 ?

  (2) here 17529887 will be responsible for Hyperion products unlike when we apply the 300 to 11.1.2.2 version patch each product as each patch.

  (3) in the Essbase Section, we have a patch called RunTime Client patch. What is the use of this? It's nothing but EAS Web Console Patch?

  If you're using FDMEE and patch then Yes you must apply the hotfix ODI.

  Everything you need for the OHS change is edit the file and add the line in the patch.

  If you use not HFM then you would not be possible to save an adapter for a product, you have not installed.

  Quick question around active requests in SV (SV:11.1.2.5.215) and users provisioning. Did some tests today - it seems that only users with administrative privileges for the Cluster Essbase can visit to create Smart queries - if not, they are presented with a #NoAccess warning in the upper part of the House.

  Anyone experience this before?

  In fact, we had exactly the same problem. Open a ticket with oracle a few months back. They confirmed it as a bug and the fix to come to 11.1.2.4. I still have full SR. Intelligent Query can / must be read-only users too.

• Address book seized semiautomatic retains errors in history

  I corrected a typo on an address in my address book. AutoComplete displays the address of the old/bad as well as the new address. The old address is not yet in my address book. It must be in a history file from somewhere. How to reset the history or if the research is current addresses?

  There is no history of address book. Search all your address books to the wrong address, including collected addresses.

• Pavilion 500 - C60: new office reads, "ERROR: no boot disk was detected or the disc has failed" at startup.

  Just bought Pavilion 500 - C60, running Windows 8.1 64-bit and am doing everything on old HP running Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2. Has not gone smoothly from one thing to another, but I think everything comes together. A couple of days, began to receive the error message at startup or, if I COULD do so that it starts would go for awhile and then would get an ERROR message, requiring restart. Usually after obtaining the error message several times, the computer would then initialize. Tonight, I couldn't override the error message for anything! When you press power button / stop, I hear (HD) running for a few seconds, everything is silent, and then the error message appears on the gray screen dark in white letters, BACK very and sinister looking! Any suggestions? Had the computer about two months and it has not been easy.

  Not good!  Check all the connectors and the hard drive to make sure that they are correctly wired in place. Make sure that your cable is not reversed.

  Contact the seller if still under warranty for repair.  This could be the hard drive or motherboard and the problem lies the only diagnosis from a repair facility.

  1. What is the exact error message you are getting?

  You can try the following steps and check.

  Step 1: Rename the Windows address book file

  a. click on start-> Search-> all files or folders.

  b. in the "All or part of the file name", type: "*.wab" (without the quotes).

  c. define the area look in to include your local hard drives, and then click search.

  NOTE: If you find more than one .wab file, make the following changes for all files.

  d. click the file .wab you find. On the file menu, click Rename.

  e. Type "oldaddress.old" and press ENTER.

  f. open Outlook Express and check.

  Step 2: Edit the registry and save dll files

  a. click on start-> Run, in the Open box, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) and then click OK.

  b. navigate to the following registry key and delete it:

  -HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB

  -HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WAB

  c. Remove wab32.dll and wab32res.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System

  d. Click Start-> Run, in the Open box, type "msimn /reg" and then click OK.

  e. Click Start-> run, type "regsvr32 «c:\Program files\Common Files\System \wab32.dll»»

  f. Click Start-> run, type "regsvr32"c:\Program files\outlook express\oeimport.dll.

  g. click on start-> run, type "regsvr32"c:\Program files\outlook express\wabimp.dll.

  Important: The above mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

• I can't add new contacts in my address book, I get an error message. Any suggestions why this should have happened?

  For the last two weeks, I've been unable to add new contacts in my address book. I just get an error message? My husband who is on the same laptop is still able to do this. Very strange.

  I use Windows Mail. I think I've sorted the problem. My husband had copied my contact list at his side. so the contacts were shown on both sides I copied since their return to the mine and the problem seems to have been resolved.

  Whenever I try to install my new printer, LaserJet Pro 500 color MFP 570dn software I get an error at 80%.  I tried using the disc that came with the printer and download the full software directly from HP.  I also tried with my anti-virus and firewall disabled.  I am running Windows 7 64 bit.  This is a new computer.  I was able to install it successfully on my old computer with the same OS.  I spent hours trying to solve this problem.  Help, please!  Thank you!

  Most of the time this means that there is something on the computer to interfere with the load.  The disk will be a file called scrubber.exe.  Find and run the program to remove any trace of the software of previous attempts and see if that solved the problem.  You can check in the Add Remove programs on the computer to see if the software of the printer has loaded in the past and if so, remove it before running the routine of the scrubber.

  I would like to batch export calendar as a PDF of a financial information book in Hyperion planning. I've been able to do this for reports, but not for books.

  Is there a way to do this? How would you do that?

  I also want to export it to a directory on the file system, and they have saved using a suffix (kind of timestamp).

  How will you address this issue?

  You can do in the Planner in the workspace, if you did for reports which is the problem with the books?

  Set to annex to export the PDF file to a location and the file format.

• Classroom in a book lesson 2015 6 error?

  I will from now through Lesson 6 and reached the section "styling a Navigation menu. I had added an element of Basic Navigation "bootstrap" on the page in the previous step and now I'm supposed to add css selectors to change the appearance of the NAVS "bootstrap".

  The book says the following:

  1. Select a menu (on the NAV) item

  2. click on the button "current."

  3 scroll through the list of selectors until you come to .navbar-default

  The problem is, there is NO default .navbar in the list of selectors for a menu item.

  What I am doing wrong? The instructions are bad? I noticed a few errors in the book so far but have been able to manage without worrying. However, this one has me at a roadblock because I have no idea what selector to use to override the CSS Bootstrap in the navigation menu.

  I found it.  It should probably be reported as a bug.
