EPMA 11.1.2.4 unable to deploy HFM App

Someone at - he struck this problem. We run EMP 11.1.2.4 and created applications through EPMA, HFM. Validate it removes any error. Yet when try to deploy we get this error

"Failed to retrieve product details to deploy the application." This message does not appear in the newspapers in the Web session in the library to the Application.

Any information appreciated.

R

Well, the problem seems to be that a disconnect be EPMA and HFM. Her only we could find was that to solve down the HFM HSS (Epmregistry), scheme of EPMA. If you perform an export of your SSP metadata LCM and deployment, you can recover most of your settings. It's as bad as the 8001 error when adding or changing the connections of DB of Reporting financial.

If someone hits the big problem here is a solution.

1. make a LCM Export of your instance.

2. remove the HSS, the EPMA and HFM schema. This may mean go in SQLDeveloper or TOAD and the abandonment of the views, sequences manually.

3. run the HSS, EPMA, HFM configuration.

4. selectively import the HSS and the deployment metadata.

5. for all components not imported not do a redeployment.

6. restart all

File-> import-> General-> existing projects into workspace and you need to select the directory or the zip file.

I have found the WeldPhaseListener class in the weblogic.server.merged.jar class but this pot is not in my ear which I am deploying. Even I did grep for this class in the ear, and nothing is found.

Can someone tell me what could be the reasons for this error and also guide me on how to fix this error, while deploying?

    Thank you

    Naveen dauby

    Shay,

I couldn't find any reference to this class in all the projects that we have.

Finally with small trial and error approach, I could find the file asking the questions.

One of our projects is the file with the following content beans.xml.

As you said, this file is not used by the adf and it became strong at the point of stem.

The beans.xml is not longer used in our project and remove this file / filtering this file in the deployment of war profile helped me fix this problem.

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Kind regards

    Naveen Dauby.

If someone really well set up the tomcat 6 ADF running components without error, it would be nice if you can share it with us, I've exhausted ideas and still have no answers.

Really grateful for any help received.

    ISY

    sanchezis,

    A few notes:

    (1) I'm sure that you have already read the certification and found that ADF is approved on WebLogic Server for the moment. Anyone who has managed to get it runs on Tomcat - well - but it is not supported.

    (2) someone spend like a lightning bolt to the top of their installation of Tomcat with all libraries in the ADF in it would very definitely in violation of license Oracle ADF - you can not redistribute their components without permission ;)

    (3) also, I'm sure you're aware that the ADF is not free - looking for a run-time license (which is included with WebLogic Server).

I am not able to understand why the new application is not able to enroll in shared services. Any ideas? Thank you

    Here's the step.

Copy the folder "Report Style Sheets" of

    \\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\FinancialManagement\Server working folder

    TO

    \\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\products\FinancialManagement\Server working folder

After you have copied the folder, if it please redeploy the application and check if it works.

  • EPMA planning deployment of app error

    Hello Experts,

I'm trying to deploy an EPMA planning via the workspace. E.M.P. version is 11.1.2.3

Here is the error which is to throw any deployment (with selection options - "Refresh the contour", "Creating security filters" and "Full deployment"):

Creation of security... filters: Index: 1, size: 1, an Exception occurred in the Application deployment. : Index: 1, size: 1

Any idea of what needs to be exact, which means that this error/exception?

    Kind regards
    Santy.

I think there is problem with the creation of filters for a disabled users. She succeed after the deletion of this user.

    Kind regards

    Santy.

    vSphere-wssdk-ui and vsphere-wssdk-provider

    Description

This example shows how to use the vSphere Web Services SDK (WSSDK) on the side server to access the data of vCenter that you might not be able to get with the models presented before data request. More generally the WSSDK API allows access to objects managed vSphere that can be used to manage, monitor and control the lifecycle of all the components of the virtual infrastructure operations (vms, data centers, data warehouses, networks, etc.). This example shows how to retrieve the properties of the object, but the same WSSDK could be used to implement the operations specific vCenter in your plugin.

    Its use

This example uses WSSDK library vim25.jar of the VMware, located in/vsphereviews/vsphere-wssdk-provider/lib. For the blank server load this library during development, it must be copied to the/server/repository/usr directory, see first how to use libraries third 3rd for more details. (The other library, commons-logging - 1.1.1.jar is already part of the repository Virgo.)

I have read a document of oracle error HPCM knowledge base: deployment Coordinator application of EPMA 'Abandoned Action' [1362743.1 ID]
but when changed boot.properties file its corrupting complete component. This is why I replaced the old boot.properties file

All the advice is really appreciated.

    Kind regards.

    Hello

We have redeployed the product to a newly created schema, it started working after that.

I don't know if HPCM was deployed correctly at the first time or not.

    Hope this helps!

  • Unable to deploy calc manager rule attrbuts in 11.1.2.1

I'm unable to validate/deploy a rule of calc Manager in 11.1.2.1. This rule is also developed as a calc script and gets validated/executed successfully.
This is a custom currency conversion script

    Sample
    Jan)
    IF (@ISMBR (@Attribute ("b_CNY")))
    "USD" = "Currency" / "Avg_Rate"-> "CNY";

    ELSEIF...

    ELSEIF...

    ENDIF
    )

Do we know if this a bug known?

    Thank you

It used to be a bug that @attribute could not be validated, perhaps useful to check patch to see if it is still attached.

  • HP Device Manager - unable to deploy images taken with a particular operating system to another OS

    Hi all

I tried to deploy an image from a HP T5565 (Thin Client) with the operating system HP ThinPro 4, an HP T5565 with the HP ThinPro 3 operating system. Anyone know if this is possible?

I am also having the same problem when you deploy an image from a HP T610 - thin thin clent Pro 4, a HP T610 - thin Pro 3 thin client.

I take the image by right clicking on the client, by clicking on "Send the task", imagery, and then capture Image.

I deploy images in the same way, but instead select the picture in the Templates window. It works very well for Thin Clients running on the same OS.

I would be grateful for any assistance with this!

    Kind regards

    Remo

This is the version of the image I want.

So bascially your problem is: being ThinPro 3 devices ThinPro 4 different OS, you are not able to find the captured image of ThinPro 4 tab ThinPro 3 OS.

Two methods for you to Imaging cross OSes.

    1. you have model result to capture the image on your DM console task

In this case, just click with the right button on the model of result and select "Copy to other OS", it should be ThinPro4 in your case, then you should be able to see and use the model on the ThinPro4 tab.

    2. you have a gold statue want to deploy, but no model of result in the console HPDM.

    1. Locate the gold statue.
    2. DM console, switch to tab ThinPro 3, import the image by clicking on the "Template"-> "Import"-> "Image Files"-> "to deploy without PXE.
    3. Browse the file in step 1, select ThinPro3 as the OS tab and enter a model name.
    4. Wait to build the model on the ThinPro3 tab.
    5. After that these, you can use the model to upgrade unit ThinPro 3 to ThinPro4.

Just FYI, we strongly recommend to update DM agent before performing all tasks with HPDM.
