ePrint by email alias

Hello

ePrint is working on my Photosmart printer when I send a document to its native e-mail address.

Since this email address is random name, I put an alias of electronic mail in order to use a more convenient e-mail address, for example [email protected].

However, if I send an e-mail to the alias, it is not printed and ePrint throws a "too many recipients in an e-mail message. I understand the limitation ePrint from one recipient (use BCC to others), but in this case, it's just a recipient!

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks for the reply, I take no need to look any further: he won't fly.

I'll just add at the end of the queue from others in waiting for this function is possible!

Best regards, W.

  • ePrint loses email addresses allowed except my master e-mail

    Hello

I opened my ePrint account and wanted to add addresses email who are authorized to print via e-print. I win and the dialog box displays all the addresses correctly.

But when I connect again in ePrint and I want to check the addresses all are gone except my main address on behalf of HP.

What could be the reason for this?

    Thank you and best regards

Try the procedure described below a few users have reported success.  Let me know how it goes.

    1. connect to ePrint Center.

    2. click on the senders list and add the user as usual.

    3. click on save after adding the address-do not sign of ePrint Center.

    4. then send an email to the printer from this sender you just added.

    5. once the e-mail has been received by the printer disconnect and then come back in ePrint center and check the list of senders.

  • email alias

Does anyone have an idea on how to use a legitimate alias instead of the address of real account in the email app?

There is no way to change this, maybe you could try downloading a third party on Store application that has this capability.

  • where should I look to find an eprint forgotten email address?

I created my new printer as an eprint machine a few days ago so I can email prints to it. Unfortunately, I forgot the e-mail address that I gave him. Where should I click to see who? Or is the printer not somewhere?

    Hi CAPSarge,

If you have saved the printer to www.eprint.com, you can locate printers email address after login. It will appear under the photo of your printer. If you do not register your printer to the ePrint Center, you must disable and then re-enable Web Services on your printer. This will generate a new code for you, like the old code will become invalid after 24 hours. If you need help with Web Services, please let me know what model of printer you have and I can walk through you that.

  • ePrint app for iOS and Android do not print, but regular ePrint by email will be

I am able to email from my printer and print using ePrint like that, but when I try to do with the ePrint on iOS7 and Android app, it won't work.  Both scenarios using internet LTE on my phone for my printer on my network domestic wi - fi.  On iOS7, it says ' Please try again / could not finish the job print. "and"there was a problem during printing.  Please check your printer and try again. "On my Android Tablet it just will not find the printer on the screen to preview/print, even if seen on the settings screen.  I looked through other messages on the subject without solution.  Any thoughts?

    Thank you.

Well, it's working now.  I don't know what has changed.  I did something different, just kept trying the same thing.  It might have something to do the cloud service are down temporarily?

  • EPrint lost email address - how do I get it back?

The other day, I registered my printer ePrint service. I took my own address of e-mail (like [email protected]). Then I had some problems with my printer, after which its configuration has been reset. When I restored my setup and open the ePrint Center site that it has turned out that... my printer is not registered in ePrint Center more! Again, I added my printer, but then I learned that I couldn't use my old address ePrint I had before he informed me that it is already used by someone else (most likely it is locked because it belonged to myself until I have my printer reset me).

Is there a way to return to my old email address? I really need because it has already been distributed among my clients, etc. I tried to contact HP support, but when it comes to my printer and the serial number he shouted at me that my warranty has expired Oct 2012 (he bought in a store on August 2012). I have provided my proof of purchase on their site 6 days ago, but they have not responded so far. Please advise!

Hello, once this happens the email address will be locked for 6 months. Usually eprint is designed for consumers, and not to be used in a business like this kind of thing can happen. A better solution is perhaps to have emails go to a normal email account and see if you can set up autoforwarding to the printer. In this way, you also a copy saved to any email on file as well.

Transfer can sometimes cause problems with eprint however, so I would like to test the settings first to ensure that it works correctly.

  • Cannot send email alias Outlook

I need to send an e-mail from an alias in Outlook. However, my only choice when I go to write the message is the main account. None of my 5 alias is available for me to choose my address "from". For the moment, I need to connect to Outlook.com to send messages to alias... Is there a way to fix this?

OK, so what is an "alias Outlook?

If your alias are separate and distinct accounts, then you must configure each in Thunderbird.

If they match somehow on 'real' one account then perhaps you can configure them as identities; Look for your main account settings page the button manage identities.

But Thunderbird can only, in this respect, what you tell him. He cannot deduct the existence of these aliases as if by magic.

  • HP eprint by email address question

Is there a way to configure my HP eprint address in Outlook, so I can directly receive documents eprint to Outlook?

Sorry do not provide a "technical" answer, there is simply no such response to provide...

HP offer no access to the POP3 or IMAP server on the ePrint Server (if such exist) as required to configure an e-mail client, the address is limited to intention, not for other uses.

  • How can I e-mail alias list on iPhone?

Is there a way to put my email alias in my email on my iPhone 5s accounts so when I want to send an email or replay that I can use one of my aliases?

    Hey there schoodle!

From your post, it seems you have an e-mail alias you want as an option during the send/receive message in the Mail application. With iCloud email alias, it's something that can be done by tapping the Cc/BCC line in any e-mail that you compose, as long as your iCloud mail is on.

See: using your email address @icloud.com - Apple Support

Send the email from your address @icloud.com

Open Mail and start a new email:

    • If only you have an address of @icloud.com and isn't an iCloud email alias, it will appear in the Cc/BCC field on your iOS device or on your Mac and iCloud.comfield.
    • If you have more than one e-mail address, you will need to select your address @icloud.com:
      • iOS: Tap Cc/BCC, from, press on, then choose your address @icloud.com.
      • OS x: choose your address @icloud.com in From menu.
      • iCloud.com: click CC/BCC, and then choose your address @icloud.com From menu.

Then fill in your email and send.

And then, you can configure it as the default for sending over iCloud account:

Make a @icloud.com attack your default, send and receive the address

To make your address @icloud.com the default value for the sending and receiving of emails from iCloud, follow the steps below for each of your devices.

    iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. Go to settings > iCloud. In iOS 7 or an earlier version, tap Settings > iCloud > account.
    2. Type Mail under Advanced.
    3. Under iCloud account information, type your email address.
    4. Type the email address @icloud.com you want to use by default for sending mail to iCloud Mail.

    See you soon!

  • Why my camera Android tells me incorrect password and email when I know that it is not? !

I have set up sync on my main PC with my email and password and when I try to sync with my phone Android and tablet, it always tells me that it is a wrong name and password and I know that's not.

    Any ideas?

PS, New System email and password synchronization.

Thank you, the one who can help me...

Thanks, Guigs. That has not worked? Well, to be honest, I wasn't sure what we were trying to accomplish. I made has not been synchronized on the (obsolete) account, and then tried to sync via the menu of regular synchronization, he received the same message. bad login and password... ARGH! No warning sign or anything.

Good news, however, I got to work. Simply, I took off my PC Sync menu and resigned to the top with an email alias. Then, once he's confirmed, I went to my android and it took one with the password. SO weird?

Therefore, in any case, all resolved and I can now synchronize between my devices, but not a great solution if you have not alias emails you need to remember to use in the future.

  • How can I get the ePrint android app to print on the correct printer?

My home network is a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909 connected to the network wired (not wireless), and which is NOT active ePrint (I understand it does not support ePrint).

The network also has a HP OfficeJet 7500 has yet once connected to the network by wire (not wireless) and what ePrint IS activated.

Both printers are on my network 192.168.1.x behind a router, but not a proxy with separate IP addresses.

If I send a print by the 7500 ePrint a email address, he goes out on the printer correct (7500).

But If I print using the HP ePrint home & Biz Android app that shows to the 7500 a print out immediately on the 8500 - the incorrect printer. The app shows the type of printer as 8500, although she still bears the name of 7500 a correct.

    So I have 3 questions:

    1. How could I get the ePrint initiated by app printed to reach the 7500 a?

I like the idea that it is possible to reach the 8500 and 7500 a remotely (when I discovered ePrint after buying the 7500 a I checked if the 8500 supported that to find it does not work). But, if I wanted to keep accidental remote printing to the 8500 then...

    1. How can I print on the 8500 email? (Remember, emailed still prints go to the 7500).
    2. How can I add the 7500 a the ePrint application so that I can print to the 7500 a still without disturbing the current app ePrint printer that prints to the 8500?

Thanks for the tips you may have.

    Kevin

Hi, I would like to try and answer your questions to the best of my ability:

    1. How could I get the ePrint initiated by app printed to reach the 7500 a?

With the printed file you want displayed in the app, you must see the details of the printer at the bottom of the screen on your device. If the printer you want to print to is not presented, you can press the arrow to the right of the name of the printer and then select the printer at the top of the next screen. It will automatically search and find printers available on your network. Choose the printer you wish to print and it will update the printer selected at the time of printing. I've included a few screen shots of what it will look like

    1. How can I print on the 8500 email? (Remember, emailed still prints go to the 7500).

Unfortunately, it is not possible to print on the 8500 email. The printer must have the ability of ePrint in order to be able to do this.

    1. How can I add the 7500 a the ePrint application so that I can print to the 7500 a still without disturbing the current app ePrint printer that prints to the 8500?

See the answer to the first question

If this does not solve your problem you can try to install the HP Home Network Diagnostic Utility tool to check that nothing is wrong with your network printers

  • iCloud email email wrong display

    Hello

I have earlier you have this problem and I don't know why. Basically, I changed my email account icloud a year ago and it has also changed in my mail app and if everything worked fine. However, now for some reason, if I had to send one of my e-mail application and use the drop down menu to accounts, the option for icloud is my OLD email icloud. I went into preferences and looked under the icloud account and user accounts, it shows the correct email under the username section, but my old, incorrect email alias and email section. I went to my internet accounts and my iCloud is signed in the correct and synchronized email with my messaging app. Then I went icloud.com and edited my alias to see if I could just get around that. I created an alias of my new email, but I couldn't delete old e-mail alias. Also, when I did this and I went to send a message, both addresses from my old and new has appeared as options. In addition, my contact in my application contact card does not include my old e-mail.

Summary: My mail app using my old icloud email that I changed a year ago. There was no problem until very recently. All settings icloud, that I could find have my correct email as my account icloud himself.

Try mail/preferences/AccountType account information. Select an account, and then access the server of outgoing (SMTP) mail. In the menu drop-down select list server SMPT Edit. See if the old address is here. If so, remove it.

Mail/preferences/writing/sending messages - set to the selected mailbox account.

  • Deleted alias for the new account. Says that it is used.

I deleted my email alias @icloud.com so I could use it to create a new Apple ID, but for some reason when I tried to save it within seconds, he said that he had been taken. I sent this e-mail, then I got an email saying: it could not be delivered, which suggests that the email does not exist. Does anyone know if there are delays on the creation of new emails based on the deleted alias?

Once an alias has been created it can be moved to another account or ID for a new account, even after deletion.
