  I'm currently updated all of our programs of LabVIEW 7.1 to LabVIEW 2011.  I'm working on PC has Windows 7 and MS Office 2010.

  One of my programs use the simple text Excel function.  However, when opened in LabVIEW 2011, the list of errors poster as excel Text.vi easy has a Subvi, which is not executable.  The Subvi is Excel cell color and border.  These two functions are part of the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office 2011 and have not been modified by me. This seems to be a bug in LabVIEW. Any ideas?

  I see the same problem.  You can fix it by changing the node to invoke BorderAround and reselection BorderAround.  It seems that the Toolbox is the 2010 version of the call.  You will notice an additional entry willl appear.  Do not associate anything, just reselect the BoarderAround method.

• automatic reference to a number of figure or equation in the text

  I use FrameMaker v7.1, I create a book and I'm new to FrameMaker, but the features that I discovered so far are impressive.  The book will be a lot of figures and equations, and right now I think I should keep each chapter as a separate file.

  I use the automatic numbering to headers, headers, figures, and equations.  Is it possible that I can reference a digit number or equation number in the body of the text as it is a text variable and not entered manually?  Imagine the following example sentence: "Figure 3.2.5 shows that...". "But, what happens if I create an additional data that should go to the original amount 3.2.5; that one gets bumped to become 3.2.6 and so on.  I have to go back and manually change all references in the body text that referred to as Figure 3.2.xx and it would be a lot of work.

  I'm looking for the appropriate method to be able to write the sentence as: "< variable > watch that...". ", where < variable > would be equal to the number of the appropriate figure or an equation.  In this way I have add/remove numbers and equations, everything is automated.

  When you use auto-numbering and a style, you can configure referrals to a specific occurrence of a paragraph with a particular style (I defined a style called: figcap for numbered legends, for example) and to control which elements of the paragraph you want to see in the cross reference: you can set a cross-reference to display "Figure 3". , or '3' or 'Figure 3, page 14 "... '.

  With respect to the update of the cross references, I don't have 7.0 available more to check exactly where orders are; probably under Edit and then book update or update of references according to the active file. Cross-references in a single file are updated every time that you open the file, that's why you can see a file marked as "changed" until you have reached a unique key.

• Report.VI of executable and easy text

  After you read knowledge base articles and the discussion grps, looks like I'm missing somethng when I create an exe and include "Simple text Report.vi" in my LV2012 project.  If I run the exe in the administrator of Windows 7 window, the results of the test are very well printed.  If I copy a shortcut of the exe on a window of the user on the same computer nothing is printed.  Someone knows why?

• print easy text.vi does not work in the executable

  I have 3 computers to target that runs labview 2012 on a PXIe8101controller.  In my statemachine the vi prints a report using simple text, report vi (palletized report generation) at the end of the trial.  Its an executable vi on all 3 machines.  On 2 machines, it works fine.  On the 3rd he hangs up when I'm logged in as a standard user.  If I log in as an administrator, it works very well.  The thing I noticed is that on 2 machines, that it works, the image is "factory...". 1.2.1F6' (under control panel > systems).

  On the test equipment that it only works in admin mode the original image is 1.2.4.f1.  MAX is also 5.3.1 on that past fine and 5.5.0 f1 on the one that does not work on.  Everything I'm mssing?

• Is it possible to paint a background for a text in Javafx 8 color?

  We are currently developing an application where the user matter a text that is then analyzed for specific keywords. These keywords should then be highlighted in the text so that the user can easily see which words have been found.

  Now with Java 8, we want to use the new TextFlow class for this. I know that I can easily change the font of the words that have been identified, but it would also be nice if I could add a background color for a Visual scanning even easier text. Anyway is how to achieve this using the text class? I know that I could also add a label to the TextFlow, however that would break the flow of the text because sometimes we should also highlight the parts of the text, and that the text extends beyond the end of the line of the linkebreaks will be just hideous.

  I already thought to subclass the text and the background, but simply do not know where I have to change the way the rendering takes place.

  OK, for someone fall on this google search: after a lot of digging, I found that the only way to add this feature requires subclassing the non-public API NGText and adding the feature in the renderContent2D method. Unfortunately however the method impl_createPeer in the text is final, while we could add the functionality by subclassing the text and NGText, is not possible to actually use it, see post https://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-35801

  Is there when even to have the TEXTS I use in project shown in. HTML file so instead of .js?

  Absolutely! In the publishing options, select "publish as static HTML. This will give all text attributes and accessibility in the HTML code.

• Application crashes when connecting remotely for debugging

  Hello again all you lovers forum useful!

  I'm debugging a strange behaviour in my application that does occur on a specific computer in special circumstances.  To do this, I have enabled debugging in my application and finally was able to see it as an option in the menu "Debug Application or Shared Library" on my local computer (I had to first find out the hard way that you cannot change the name of the application and have always run in debug mode, even if you change the name of the associated also .aliases and .ini files).

  When I try to connect to my request, the "connection status" displays lists of downloading my subVIs much and then finally downloading my main VI.  At this point, my main VI façade appears on my local computer.  However, everything freezes then, while on the remote computer, my application (waiting for correctly so that the debugger start) crashes with a generic Windows "...". has encountered a problem and needs to close"message.  If I click to more information, I see that the name is lvrt.dll (my application is usually not real-time, but it uses a timed loop or two).

  I would like suggestions as to what may cause this error and how to fix it.  Unfortunately, because it's a working application I can't post my code.  I'm using LabVIEW 2010 SP1, and two computers running Windows XP.

  Well, I accidentally worked around the problem, although I never found the root cause.

  My applications MS Office had put by my it Department yesterday, and now when I compile my app, it tells me that a VI integrated Excel is broken, somewhere in the NIReport.llb folder, I added to the section 'always include' my construction specification application source file properties.  I removed NIReport.llb temporarily since I do not have the part of my application which is used to make this debugging and debugging now my application works.  Weird!  I was able to successfully debug my original problem that started this whole mess, though, so I'm happy with the final result.

  Now, I just get NIReport.llb working again.  I'm guessing there are probably an updated version to match MS Office 2010, which is my new version.  I had added NIReport.llb to support using "Easy text Report.vi" for printing.  Given that my app size dropped 50% when I got him out earlier, I can get another printing option, however.  I can solicit the opinions about it, but if so I'll so, in another thread to keep this one to.

  To anyone who has been reading this thread and thinking about how to solve my problem, thank you for your time!

  There are added additional lines between each section made by Easy Text.vi Word.

  2.
  I want to insert a table without border lines. However when I set borders and shading in a way this table without any boundaries should generated vertical border remain lines between the columns of the table.

  Set the entry AutoFormat in Word Input.vi easy to 0 will create a table without the internal lines, but that doesn't solve your problem #1.

  These additional lines are added by the easy text and the easy Table.vi Word. If you don't want them using these screws. use the report text Append and Append table of the report live as in the following photo. (you then need to set the style using Word Format Text.vi as I did for the title).

  Does anyone have any ideas as to what might cause this error?

The text is 'Test '. It is a standard report with orientation portrait. But the above error code is generated when I run. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I have an application that works on LV60 and when lance in LV86 I get the following error: error 6 took place in open/create/replace file in NI_Excel.lvclassave report to the File.vi-> SWF001 Test.vi Possible reason (s): LabVIEW: file generic i/o error. = OR-488: IO operation abandoned. C:\SWF001 IO Files\1_Single.xls the application made: New Report.vi Excel get Worksheet.vi Excel easy Table.vi Excel easy Text.vi (4 of them) save the report to the File.vi Report.vi to throw all in a nice string (errors and report-in/out) as is typical for some reason any I get this error message. I use it with Excel 2003 SP3 and the spreadsheet contains macros (and I get a prompt ' should I enable macros: "(Yes), I do not have with LV60 and the old version of Excel). This is probably not the problem? but deserves to be mentioned. The file exists on the system (and it seems that the application is to write on it with success - but maybe truncated as the error indicates-i cannot say with certainty).   A note on your method to retrieve all related graphics: this will also deal with graphics that could be linked in master pages and reference. Just to be safe against unwanted side effects, you should limit your list of charts to those in the main flow of your document.

  On the tLoc: looking for really the cornerstone of the anchored frame that contains the chart. It's a little confusing that FM called the anchored frame and any graph of the same name. Even if you add a framework anchored in the text to an equation or a text box in your document, the anchored frame will appear in the list of the chart in the document. If you have a framework anchored containing an imported graphic file, you have a list of graphic objects inside the anchored frame, who himself appears in the list of graphical objects in the document.

  This function should do what you want to do:

  I suppose you also want to remove the anchored frames (imported image files) the text. This can be done in the same routine, but you first have to catch the next element in the linked list graphics in the doc before deleting the current. If you do not delete the first and end up with an object not valid. The method simpler and more secure to do is to create an array of items to delete. After the while loop, you delete these objects. Get the complete code looks like this:

  You will need to create the thing almost from scratch and use a product to manage the mathML (Mathematical Markup Language) aspects of this. files ePub need linear text, structured to work well, it's as simple as that, really.

  Scanning to a pdf document won't give you pictures of the pages, as well as for research, there is nothing to seek (just a bunch of pixels). The scanning and OCR (almost certainly) is likely to work with equations.

• equation of columns of values in the text file, please help

  I applied an equation to the to column values in a text file, thr is two columns; for every 10 values, I should get an output value, so a total of 5 values + 5 values for each of the two columns with values from 50.

  My vi don't wrk properly, the values are not justifiable, and I get only 5 values instead of 10 (5 for each of the 2 columns with 50 values)

  I have attached hv my vi, pls help.

  Of course, find NaN in there.  You are divided by 0.  Tip: The top 10 items are all 0.
