Equium A100: Audio driver does not not WinXP

Hi, when I bought my laptop I had Vista installed on it, I installed win XP, but I had no drivers, but I downloaded Toshiba & Utilities CD tools that have all the drivers for my lapop, everything works well only realtek audio driver does not work correctly when I restart my pc error appears, I made the screenshot of it it maybe you can help me with this problem.

Here is the link to see srceenshot: http://rstheclan.googlepages.com/error.JPG

Have you installed the two KBs (knowledge base) of Microsoft before running the installation program driver sound?

You can try and download the audio drivers manually and give it a reinstall. Not to mention that this error message, play sound in Windows?
Need drivers, you can find here: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com (Support & downloads)

Another question. What Service Pack you are using? Always SP2 or SP3 brand new? With the last of them, there are sometimes problems with the realtek sound card drivers.

I should try the following steps:

First, you must remove the drive from the Device Manager and restart the laptop. After you restart the operating system should recognize the new device (ODD) again.

Then, open the registry and delete the upper and lower filters of the key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    Then reboot again.

Once these procedures please try again if the player works!

Tried the Spanish version, too and it is said the same thing.

    All solutions?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Hello

To my knowledge, install drivers in the correct order, if you install the operating system manually.
It is a prerequisite not if you want to use the Toshiba drivers, tools and utilities.

I can t believe that it of not possible to install the audio driver.
XP Home and XP Pro uses the same drivers there is no problem of driver compatibility. I think you should follow the installation guide that you can find on the page of the driver and then install all the drivers as described in the document.

  • Dolby audio driver does not load after upgrade Windows 10

Just upgraded to 10 Windows on my Ideapad N585. At the start, get a Dolby audio driver has not loaded. I recall this issue upgrade to win 8 to 8.1, but can't remember the fix. Should we wait for an updated driver? I have sound, but do not know what driver it uses. (have not yet found drivers yet)

Another question, I discovered, is that I could not disable the touchpad through Fn + F6. The driver settings momentum have a box to disable the touchpad when an external pointing device using, however, so this isn't a major problem.

Thanks - I think that I managed to update the driver for the device (which was not so easy to find) Manager - who or Windows Update done automatically. He now works properly again. I have a feeling I'm going to repeat this exercise a lot with Windows 10.

  • Dell gx 620 audio driver does not work

I clean installed windows 7 and my audio driver is not working. I tried several times to install from windows update buttocks in vain. Before clean install driver installed successfully on the same windows.

He worked as W7 installed a generic driver to stand up and go after that you were supposed to have installed the real ones.

There is no W7 drivers available, you can try to do a repair of W7 installation, in the hope, it will be re - install generic drivers, but I wouldn't hold my breath on this one here.
One thing you might try use it dreaded the system restore to an earlier date than to come, if you still have such a restore point on your machine.
    See you soon,.

  • Audio driver does not work on Equium A100 (PSAAB)

    Hello

I bought my laptop a few weeks ago, tried Vista on it for about 2 weeks but decided to change the operating system to my old XP because I did not like that Vista has taken to much power. (Like playing a game from time to time)

Anyway, the installation went well and I checked the installation instructions on the home page of Toshibas and installed everything that was needed. I also installed the audio driver.

After the restart there is no sound so I started, I was wondering what could be wrong. Called support and he told me to install 'Virtual Sound. The problem when I install was that I get an error message telling me that my computer do not support virtual sound.

So my question is: is this the problem? Not getting is not the virtual sound installed or should it works even without virtual sound? It gets boring without sound and I want it to work. Anyone got any ideas what to do?

Each suggestion or help is very appreciated!
    / Martin

    Hello

I wonder why some of the support line suggested to install the virtual sound?
The European driver Toshiba page does not include any virtual sound utility for this laptop Equium A100 PSAAB!
In my opinion it of not good. You n t need to install this utility.

I checked the Toshiba page and choose your notebook series PSAAB. I found a lot of XP drivers!
There are also 2 different audio drivers; 5.10.0.5200 Realtek and Realtek 5.10.0.5253.
    Check both!

I see that the reference page offers different upgrades of MS QFEs. You must install all!
Sometimes these update of MS are important and necessary to solve some problems.

PS; Please install all the drivers in the order mentioned in the Installation Instructions

    Hello

The problem is that you need install Microsoft patches before you continue installing the audio driver.

I found some useful tips and advice in this forum and it seems that you need to install the
KB888111 and KB835221 hotfix before installing the sound driver.

  • Audio driver does not not on Satellite U300-30F

    Hello.

    I have a satellite U300 - 30th.

Audio driver worked well but it suddenly stopped.

NO AUDIO DEVICE appeared in the lower right of the task bar.

In Device Manager the REALTEK HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO comes with a warning yellow (this device cannot start. (Code 10))

Any ideas - tried to reload the latest drivers from the website of Tosh & realtek, but no difference.

Is it a VISTA problem or a problem with the on-board his?

    Thanks in advance

    Lynda

OK, have you done a clean uninstall using a tool like ccleaner to clean record? Should be worth a try.

And no, this is not a specific problem of Vista, as this seems to happen on Win XP too.
The last thing that you have is to do a complete reinstall of your system, but let's try this method first, before doing this.

  • audio driver does not

I use an inspiron 3521 load with windows 7 ultimate is peripheral N.audio realtek high definition audio. the driver is

Audio_Driver_149YN_WN_6.0.1.6788_A03.exe. but it does not work well.

    hardware ID is

    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_10EC & DEV_0282 & SUBSYS_10280597 & REV_1000

    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_10EC & DEV_0282 & SUBSYS_10280597. pls help

Try the earlier version of the Realtek audio driver.

To install the older driver first remove the current one. Open Device Manager (type devmgmt.msc in the search box) and develop "audio, video and game controllers". Right click on the Realtek, and select uninstall. Put a checkmark in the delete files optionand then ok. When you restart, Windows will install its own native driver or another driver Realtek if there were other versions on the hard drive. Then go back to Device Manager and look for a Realtek driver. Keep the uninstall & reboot until Realtek no longer appears under controllers of noise. When you see "High definition Audio Device" (the native driver of Windows) instead of "Realtek", download and install the older driver Realtek 6.0.1.6690

If you need more help please explain what kind of problem you are having with the driver.

  • Audio driver does not properly

I have problems with the audio driver after reinstallation of Windows 7 on my Dell XPS L520X.

Restarting windows sound does not work, after that application troubleshooting it arranges temporarily and gives the message this problem with Realtek High Definition Audio Driver.

But I reinstalled my drivers realtek I also tried without them, but the problem persists.

Any way to fix this error or a way to find out what is the cause?

Given that you have reinstalled Windows 7 on the XPS L502X (I guess L502X because there is no L520X that I've heard of).

See my Guide for reinstalling Windows for more details:

    http://philipyip.WordPress.com/Dell-community-forums/

Have you installed all the drivers in the correct order?

Also uninstall the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver of add/remove programs and Device Manager (there is a section about uninstalling the drivers via Device Manager). Restart the computer and then re-attempt the driver installation.

  • Dolby Advanced Audio Driver does not

Hello, I have recently updated all my drivers on my computer that could be updated. (I have Windows 8), but now every time I turn on my computer it says

The current version of the Dolby audio driver is 7.2.8000.17 and the software application expects that the version of the driver 7.2.7000.7. Please install a valid application of driver and software combination.

Since this has happened, I can't watch videos in Windows Media Player and I can not play some full screen. Also when I go on Youtube, I have to wait 10 seconds before I can watch a video. My computer is an Acer Aspire 5560-8431. If you guys can help, that would be great, considering that this new driver is a pain.

So should I remove Dolby Advanced Audio?

You are using an operating system apparently does not support your computer manufacturer.  Your choices (as I see them) are:

    • Understand the exact brand & model of audio device you have in the machine and go directly to support manufacturer - you might get lucky and they support this component of your entire system.
    • Back to a supported operating system (it came with Windows 7 apparently) and who should run because the system was designed around him.
    • Do you think all that is right and makes things work the way you want.

"Deletes" the "Dolby Advanced Audio" the right choice?  I don't think so - it will probably break something else.  But it might be for you - he might just silence the message and who can be your main concern.

When you improved (I guess that's what you were doing) this system to Windows 8, did you use the Acer provided and suggests how?
    http://www.Acer.ca/AC/en/CA/content/Windows8-upgrade
    -->
    http://www.Acer.ca/AC/en/CA/content/upgrade-Assistant-tool
    or
    http://www.Acer.ca/AC/en/CA/content/manually-upgrade

Either your system * equipped * Windows 8?  Once again-, we could have a failure in communications here.  When I visit the page drivers for the Acer Aspire 5560 15 "laptop - you can have something together."  What I see shows that the system is little close only supported by Acer with Windows 7 64 bit.

  • Audio driver does not work on Satellite U400-112 with Vista 64-bit Buss

    Hello

I installed Win Vista Buss. 64-bit on my Toshiba Satellite U400-112 but the original driver for the Toshiba site does not work properly, honestly does not at all. The only driver that works is a winner. Vista driver but when I plugged in her headphones just got pregnant shape, but there is no sound in headphones.

    Can someone help me, please?

    Hello!

I have a Satellite U400 with Windows Vista 64 bit also, and I used the driver on the Toshiba site (Conexant 4.36.7.0).
It works without problems, I can hear sounds with the speakers and headphones.

Maybe you have an old BIOS. After the installation of Windows Vista, I made an update of the BIOS so try that too.
The BIOS you can find also on the Toshiba site.
