Equium A60: Game - Riding Star fatal error

My daughter tries to run Riding Star on my Equium A60, but confronted with problems. Load, it won't work. Instead, the message appears: "horse Star - fatal error. The failure of the assertion code. (null) ».

This is a new copy of the game, not a DIY job. He pretended to be compatible XP (we miss Home Edition). It is not compatible with the Pentium 4, but use A60 Celeron D 335, I think - at least my daughter to other games that require similar specs run OK on the A60.

Advice (I'm a numbskull computer)?

Hello

Equium A60 uses a Pentium 4 HT processor. It s not Celeron.
But however if you have any problems with this game so to contact the game manufacturers and/or check the support Web site.

PS: You're talking to a copy of the game. Maybe this problem occurs because of this copy of the game.

You can try to install in compatibility mode and see if this will help; about the only other thing is you go on the game manufacturer and see if they have nothing else, you can try. It's perhaps the game just won't work in windows 8. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

  • Equium A60-155: ATi Mobility graphics card problem

    Hello

I have a laptop Equium A60, recently I am getting error informing messages than the "display driver ATi2mtag has stopped working properly.
I have reset my machine as told to do the error dialog box. Reset works fine, but the laptop crashes to the desktop, when turned off and on again once I get the Safe Mode screen.

I reinstalled the driver for the graphics card several times, and the error persists through safe mode. The returned error and trying to open in safe mode, the machine flashed a blue screen of death, too fast for me to read, even applied for each of the available options. I was unable to cross this safe mode selection screen.

As a last resort that I reformatted my laptop, using the Toshiba CD recover but the error persists, with regular driver display and the actual machine crashed.

Since the reformat, I reinstalled the display drivers, and the problem persists.

I downloaded the drivers from this site and the problem is still there

You know a possible fix or solution to this problem? I am a competent enough and user of computer knowledge, so do not be afraid of getting technical in your response.

    Thank you

If this issue occurs after a several time of use, so it could be an overheating problem.
In this case, you should check the cooling modules. Check if the fans are working properly.
Try to clean it with the vacuum cleaner.

If this doesn t solve the problem if you maybe there is something wrong with the graphics card and you will need to contact Toshiba service for assistance.

Unless you are an experienced user, you should allow Windows to manage this setting for you. Your problem may occur if the default settings have been changed somehow. First to diagnose your problem, you must follow these steps to ensure that Windows runs properly your virtual memory settings.

    1. find out how virtual memory is managed. Right click on 'My Computer' and choose 'properties '. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click settings.

  • Windows 7 - play game - fatal error EXEtender exe.

    Hi, Juana,.

    Please contact the Microsoft Community.

EXEtender exe is a software for online games. I would have you uninstall and then reinstall the same and check.

I wish that you follow these steps-

    (a) click on the start"" menu.

    (b) click on "Control Panel", "Programs" and "programs and features."

    (c) select "EXEtender" in the list of programs, then click on 'uninstall '. Before installing a new version of the EXEtender software, you must completely remove the old EXEtender program. If the program is not listed, there is no trace left of software on your computer.

    (d) download Gplayer as .zip or .rar. Windows Vista and Windows 7 are equipped with programs pre-installed to decompress .zip files, so it's a better choice for many Windows users.

    (e) right-click on the Gplayer file and click "extract all." A file called 'Gplayer.exe' will unzip on your desktop.
    (f) double-click the file "Gplayer.exe.

    (g) click "Next" in the installation instructions on the screen, then enter your old EXEtender ID and password in the spaces provided during the installation process.  After the automated process, you will be able to reopen the EXEtender game program.

  • Driver error to display on my Equium A60-155

I have an Equium A60 - 155. I've had consistent problems where I get a message saying that my ati display driver has stopped working. I downloaded again the driver and still no change. I've seen the blue screen of death several times but do not see it for quite a long time to read it is said but it does not specify the ati driver again.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what to do!
    It makes me crazy!

Blue screen of death shows usually only two things: corrupt or poorly written discs or a defective hardware such as memory.
First of all I would like to start by testing your system for that RAM, I recommend a program called memtest86 - http://www.memtest86.com/
If your RAM is exceeded then the problem may be driver or hardware related. Unfortunately solving BSOD problem can be a real pain, so it might be useful to consider using the product just recovery DVDs make sure you backup that all your personal data files because this procedure will destroy all data.

  • System failure-Equium A60 won't boot to the top

    Hey guys & gals
for the first time using this site and need some advice!

    I have a toshiba laptop
    "equium a60 model PSA67E-No.-00200D8J.

Ive had problems with my start up! I get an error message saying: I have a missing driver!

    read the MSG error-"system32\drivers\ntfs.sys".

    Also get message...

"windows was not start because the following file is missing or damaged:
    system32\DRIVERS\isapnp.sys ".

Unfortunately I can't find my original CD boot disk & I don't want to lose the files saved... not too good sense when it comes to problems with this...

If anyone can give some advice please, it drives me crazy! Laughing out loud

    Alan.

    Heyho,

looks like you're in big trouble. I think the only chance to backup your files is to get some linux live CD (knoppix, ubuntu and mandrake) and an external hard drive to copy the files to your hard drive internal to external hard drive attached.

The best way would be to ask a technician or a guy who is VERY familiar with computers to backup your data.

After that you need to reinstall your operating system but without the recovery CD, you are out of luck. Then you don't have a lot of options.
One of these options is to look for startup disk or how to call it: "restore CD". If it is not available you should contact an authorized local dealer servicepartner toshiba and get a new recovery disk. The last option is to buy a Windows XP or to ask someone (family, friends, the one who) for a Windows XP to install.

    Greetings

  • Equium A60-191: number of Modem - only an analog phone lines are supported

My Equium A60 has been turned on when lightning struck nearby and caused the power supply turn off and turn back on.

The OS is XP Home and my ISP is AOL. When I try to access the Net with DUN, I get the repeated error message:

"Connected phone line is not compatible with this modem. Only analog phone lines are supported. »

My desktop computer, which also uses AOL, always connects to the same phone line with no problems.

I restarted the A60 several times; changed and I tried the 2 phone connection cables - both work; the phone line works very well; I reinstalled the driver provided on this site; removed the tick from the box that says to wait for the telephone line; verified that the modem is working and on the Device Manager list. All this is in vain.

Convenience store suggests that COM 3 is not enabled. I don't see that com 3 listed in the device under Ports Manager.

I tried Google and ASK with the error message. There is not a lot of posts, and it seems that the Toshiba modem is actually an Agere. This fact seems to be the object of some of the complaints.

Finally, I uninstalled the driver/modem, AOL and another DUN connection. I restarted and went through the process of installing AOL and "new hardware". While the modem is on and allegedly working... I am still unable to connect to the Net. I reinstalled an additional 'pay as you go' ISP. When I try to dial a number on which it generates error 680. It does this even when the box is unchecked, to wait for a dial tone.

I would be very grateful if someone could help it. I'm out of ideas.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

You are right, the modem supports the Modem Agere chip.
You won't find the COM3 in the Device Manager for the modem uses a non-real com port. It s virtual com port.

I think you should start the diagnostic tool test and check if the Modem has no malfunction.
Additional you must remove the connection in the region Select utility and after restarting again create a new.

I also found useful Microsoft article on troubleshooting network and dial-up connections.
