  I have the same problem exactly as described Flashimator don't except this: the problem occurs only when I am logged into the administrator account.  Support seems to work normally in my user account.

  I should add that my HP laptop has an OEM program which seems to be an overlay on the Windows Help.  It is also not available in the administrator account.

• USB transfer does not not for iPads on VM Mac after the last update?

  I have a VM 10.10 that I use to manage some iPads to the Department via the configurator to Apple.  After 8.1 update, I can't have iPads to connect regularly.  When I get to get an iPad connected and try the update, it will not reconnect.  I tried changing the settings of relay USB connect only to the virtual machine, but nothing helped.  This happens also in iTunes.

• Satellite L450D - nothing else happens after the BIOS update

  Toshiba Bulletin Board recommended 1 new message. Downloaded updated BIOS available. Frozen computer during the update and what would not be it. Now, the computer is totally dead. Power light turns on when the connected external CAP but nothing else. I did follow the instructions specific to Toshiba. Pleas advise.

  It of strange that the BIOS update gone wrong, because I already did several times and never had a problem did you run background applications they probably blocked the update?

  Anyway, what you can try is to remove the battery and the AC adapter / CC for a few hours. Then reconnect and try to boot up your laptop.

  In the worst cases the ROM module needs to be reflashed, but an authorized service provider can help you get rid of this problem. :)

  I've been using a trial version of Office 2007 Standard supplied with my notebook for almost two months without any problem. Yesterday I updated to Vista x 64 and now I get a "the application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect." pop up when I try to open any office program.

  I uninstalled and downloaded another version to test, but when I try to open Word or any other part of the office, I get the same error.

  Out of all the "" regular updates, it's the only one that is a new: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x 64 I guess this is the prob.

  I tried to uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, but the uninstall program always, said: "Setup.exe has stopped working".

  Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

  I suggest you do a repair from WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment) system using a Windows 7 installation disc. Follow these steps:

  1. turn on your computer, insert the Windows installation DVD, and then restart your computer.

  2. Press any key when prompted to do so and follow the instructions that appear.

  3. when the Windows Installer page, click repair your computer to access system recovery options.

  4. follow the instructions.

• There is an option to 'save all tabs before closing' - what happened with the last update?

  In formats previous Mozilla, if I had more than 1 tablet open as: Facebook, Aol.comand much much more. When I was ready to close the window and hit the 'x' at the top right, I'd get the options "save tabs & close" "close tabs" "Cancel".

  This gave the option of not having to look for things once again, if you are looking for the same tabs all the time. It's the same exact box you get now, but with the option 'save the tabs and close.

  This option can be added back?

  If something went wrong during the update of the BIOS you can do anything to reflash the ROM module because special tools are needed. This is possible only from an authorized service provider.

  I have the same problem and I got rid of it by disabling hardware acceleration of rendering in the settings dialogue. Now I see the Firefox menu properly on a secondary monitor.
