  Looking at the Page 84 of your Service and maintenance Guide, there are only 2 processors compatible with your laptops card motherboard/Bios.

  I just installed a new Cisco UCS C240 server with 2 physical processors (verfied via CIMC & physical inspection).  I installed ESXi 5.5 only for her to inform me that the servere has 4 processors inside.  It's physically impossible however now Vcentre I cannot apply license 2CPU avalible I have spare.  I tried to contact Vmware support, but it was an extreme waste of my time as they me palmed the 'license' team that has spent an hour looking at it and tell me what I already knew that he must go to the technical team.

  Has anyone else seen this problem where ESXi reported more physical CPU which are in fact physically present?

  I think I saw a thread with exactly the same problem some time ago - basically, there is a feature that extends from the CPU on 2 NUMA nodes - this should be a feature of dopants, but is not yet supported by version 5.x of ESXi (not sure if 6.x). You should see the settings of the processor in the BIOS/UEFI and check the CPU settings - you should find a new feature that there are listed - disable

The problem is that is scattered between so many threads and I'd like to see in one place a list of all CPU that work on the XPS 410 from the current version of Bios DXP061-020501 compatable. • Equium A60-191: number of Modem - only an analog phone lines are supported

  My Equium A60 has been turned on when lightning struck nearby and caused the power supply turn off and turn back on.

  The OS is XP Home and my ISP is AOL. When I try to access the Net with DUN, I get the repeated error message:

  "Connected phone line is not compatible with this modem. Only analog phone lines are supported. »

  My desktop computer, which also uses AOL, always connects to the same phone line with no problems.

  I restarted the A60 several times; changed and I tried the 2 phone connection cables - both work; the phone line works very well; I reinstalled the driver provided on this site; removed the tick from the box that says to wait for the telephone line; verified that the modem is working and on the Device Manager list. All this is in vain.

  Convenience store suggests that COM 3 is not enabled. I don't see that com 3 listed in the device under Ports Manager.

  I tried Google and ASK with the error message. There is not a lot of posts, and it seems that the Toshiba modem is actually an Agere. This fact seems to be the object of some of the complaints.

  Finally, I uninstalled the driver/modem, AOL and another DUN connection. I restarted and went through the process of installing AOL and "new hardware". While the modem is on and allegedly working... I am still unable to connect to the Net. I reinstalled an additional 'pay as you go' ISP. When I try to dial a number on which it generates error 680. It does this even when the box is unchecked, to wait for a dial tone.

  I would be very grateful if someone could help it. I'm out of ideas.

  You are right, the modem supports the Modem Agere chip.
  You won't find the COM3 in the Device Manager for the modem uses a non-real com port. It s virtual com port.

  I think you should start the diagnostic tool test and check if the Modem has no malfunction.
  Additional you must remove the connection in the region Select utility and after restarting again create a new.

  I was wondering if someone would be able to help me get a new processor.
  I was looking at processors intel and made a thread asking if I could get a certain processor, I got a response to which processors intel made port in my laptop but it says I have to ask what the higher than my laptop processor is able to support.

  The manufacturers of portable don t support the upgrade of the CPU and so there is no information on the possible and compatible processors.

  But the fact is that a CPU upgrade depends on some factors of view: the new processor must be supported by the chipset which is part of the motherboard. Second, the BIOS must support the new processor.
  In the case where one of the parties would not address new CPU, the laptop would not work.

  So first I would recommend you to check the chipsets support.
  The camera seems to support the Mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset
  On the Intel Ark page http://ark.intel.com/products/52808 under the point-Compatible product, you will find compatible processors and supported.

  But even if you want to use the CPU supported by the chipset, there could be a compatibility issue with the BIOS. I have no idea of which processors are supported by the BIOS because as I said above: this information aren t published by manufacturers of mobile phones.

  That's why these updates of the CPU is always risky.

  First: toshiba DOES not support any operating system server on their machines. You know the difference between a * LAPTOP * and a * SERVER *?

  If you know where is the difference so you can answer yourself why toshiba gives no support in this sense.
  The other point (to come to the technical part), is that you can probably install Windows Server 2003 on your computer. And you can search for drivers. But no one here could give you assistance, you´re completely on your on. (And NO, it has NO official connection :/)

  I just all new BB Curve 8900 on Vodafone. Its the first BB I've owned and I seem to have a bit of trouble. When I try to download the App World, I get the following error message:

  "Device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World"

  How can this be?

  OK then... interesting for Vodafone to push support far... Well, by I guess.

  So I guess that I change their instructions... rather than to remove an installed version of the AppWorld in the way they suggest, I suggest go to:

  Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications

  See if BB AppWorld is listed as installed. If so, highlight (but do not click) it and then press the BBKey and select Delete. If she wasn't there, then continue on these steps.

  Then do a batt pull reboot:

  With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

  Then re - activate your THS:

  Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey > sign up now

  Then re - send all the service books:

  As Jeff said, pass phrases are supported. While your keyfile may require a password, is not what we shifted upward.

  Instead, the problem is that the developer SQL does not support aes256-cbc. We don't specify as an algorithm of encryption supported by trying to open the SSH connection. If the key cannot be used. It is a bug, please add support for additional cryptographic algorithms beyond the default value OF THE used by ssh-keygen and other key generating default tools.

  In the meantime, if you have a control on the generation of keys, you can try using a different encryption algorithm but preserving the password requirement. The only solution would be to create the tunnel outside the SQL Developer and then manually create connections that run through the tunnel.

• Equium L30 - no sound in Windows XP Home edition

  I have read all the messages for the sound with Realtek HD audio problem but still no sound on my laptop. I tried to install software patches from Microsoft, I tried to install the vista drivers but nothing works. The sound is properly installed but when I go into Winamp or any other media device I can't hear anything. No sound windows, nothing, but the device is not functioning properly.

  All these problems are Windows XP Home edition. In Windows Vista, I have no problem at all. I have an Equium L30. Help, please! Excuse for my English.

  You already mentioned that you have already installed Windows (patch) patches.
  Well, the problem is that you must reinstall these patches at first and then you could install driver sound. These fixes are needed; Fixes KB888111 and KB835221.

  The audio driver (Realtek HD Audio) can be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page!
