Equium L350D no bootable device

Trying to install Windows 7 32 bit my hard drive is not recognized, but when I press f2, is to show my hard drive as a Toshiba MK1252GSX (S1). I tried a new hard drive, but does exactly the same thing. Please help me.

Hello

So according to your message, the HARD drive is recognized in the BIOS. Right?
Please check once again if you are not 100% sure.

But if the HARD drive is recognized, then it means that the HARD drive should be OK
However, please check the BIOS and set it to default save changes and start the new laptop

In addition, the BIOS must contain the option called SATA mode. This can be set to AHCI or compatible mode trying to install Windows 7 using the two modes
Generally, the compatible mode does not require SATA drivers but AFAIK Windows 7 already contains the SATA drivers and it should not be necessary to add additional SATA drivers to install the Win 7 OS.

You formatait first new HARD drive? Maybe you could test this with other computer you can connect the HARD drive via a USB cable to another PC and can format the HARD drive before you try to install Windows 7

I cannot go into the setup by pressing F2, but I see nothing here that will help you.

  • Menu of startup is displayed every time when I started my Equium L350D

    Hello

Whenever I go on the computer laptop (Equium L350D) I get the Menu start, and just, it is there and does not start automatically.

It will start if I select the HARD drive very well.

There is no cd or USB devices connected to confuse it, nor is it network.

I tried pressing F2, but this does ' t seem to work and instead of the only way that the configuration utility is to choose in the Start Menu. Once in the "InsydeH20 Setup Utility" all that I can do is change the order of boot devices.
Once I have quit the utility, it will start normally.

    Anyone can shed some light?

Enter the BIOS settings and check the boot order. How is it defined? What device is set as the first boot device?

Set the BIOS default settings, save the settings and check again.

  • Equium L350D - mechanical problem with CD/DVD player

Hello world! I hope that someone out there will be able to help me with this problem.

I have a TOSHIBA EQUIUM L350D with a CARPET * A DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA Device like the CD/DVD drive. Recently, the small plastic disc that fits on the center pin and the handles of the CD or the DVD has started to come adrift when the drawer is closed and the rotation starts; It's a horrible grating noiise! The small plastic disc appears to push on the center pin and I tried pressing the home more firmly, but still, it breaks off at the speed.

So I want to know: is there a way to secure the disc plastic safe? And if not, the only solution is to replace the drive? I don't know how I got into all this.

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

I m quite skeptical that you will be able to solve this problem. Check on eBay if you can buy the new driver.

Replacement should not be that complicated, and it will be certainly simpler to solve this problem.

You cannot use a USB on Mac 2011 Installer. Please burn the ISO on a physical DVD Windows (a DVD - R Carbon SL on the rate of burning slower is better) and use it to install Windows. The file Info.plist changes only allowing the creation of USB, but does not fully support a USB Installation.

    1. did you remove Bootcamp using disk utility?

2 have you tried local restore or recovery of the Internet? - OS X: on OS X Recovery - Apple Support . Mac with built-in optical drives may need 'Gray' disks to boot the system.

  • Equium L350D - optical drive not booting or display in the BIOS

I brought an Equium L350D around last August. It came with Windows Vista, which I wasn't completely satisfied, but it had become the standard at this time.
After several problems with Vista and preferring just generally XP, I decided it was time to downshift.

So I jumped in my drive XP, Set BIOS to boot from the CD, reboot. Vista.
So I jumped to the BIOS, and he says he is not an optical drive detected. But when I boot in Vista and pop a disc in the drive, it works fine.
I also tried Ubuntu Live CD, but it just started to new Vista.

Anyone know what I can do to work around this problem?

If you try to install Win XP without SATA drivers then the SATA in the BIOS mode must be on compatible.

By the way; If you can still boot the Vista operating system on the HARD drive, then check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS!

    Help!

    Hello

This error message appears because the BIOS didn't not find a bootable device containing an operating system.

What of the HARD drive? Is it recognized by the BIOS?
Check in the BIOS settings; Press ESC and F1 to access the BIOS.
There, you should check if the HARD drive (all details of the HARD drive should appear) is recognized.
If this isn't the case, then it means that your HARD drive is dead and so you cannot boot from the HARD drive.

  • Equium L350D - 11 d - where to find 64-bit of Windows XP drivers?

    Hi all

I just bought an Equium L350D - 11 d, which comes with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I have just ordered an extra 2 GB of RAM to upgrade to 4 GB 2 GB standard and also want to install Windows XP 64-bit why.

Anyone know where I can get drivers 64-bit for this laptop?

I looked on the Toshiba page for this laptop and can only find drivers for vista, Windows 7 and what is OS dependant.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave.

    Hello

Unfortunately, Windows 64-bit is not popular, and no driver is available on the Toshiba driver page. You have to collect the manually or by using a software like Driver Genius Driver Magician. Note that some of the drivers might not exist at all. If you decide to install anyway, don't forget to do a recovery disk.

  • Installing WXP on Equium L350D - 11 d

I have to install XP on my Equium L350D who settled with Vista so that I can run another software that is essential for my work. I found this thread ([URL] http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=35143&tstart=0 [URL] now locked) which could help, but I don't know how or where to find the drivers I need.

Can I download Intel Matrix Storage Manager that contains the drivers, but I don't know what drivers I need, IE ICH8M, ISH8M, etc. Drivers Toshiba page for this machine has only drivers for Vista available.

Any suggestions for where I can find the correct drivers would be welcome.

    Mike Davies

N° !!! You cannot use the Intel Matrix Storage Manager on this laptop because there is a big difference between the series L350, L350D.

L350 Intel chipset but L350D support supports the AMD chipset!
Intel storage driver will not work on the AMD chipset.

    Check this thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=132902𠜦

There is a link to the graphics driver package that contains the SATA driver for chipset AMD.
You will need the files in this directory to a floppy drive \SBDrv\SATA

    Txtsetup.OEM
    SiWinAcc.sys
    SilSupp.cpl
    SiiSupp.vxd
    Si3112.sys
    Si3112.mpd
    SI3112.inf

But there is also another possibility to install XP without the SATA drivers.
In the BIOS, you can set the SATA from AHCI to compatibility mode.

    Welcome them

The manual for the Equium L350D indicates that it is compatible with "LAN systems... comply with the standard IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN (RevisionA, B, G or N project)."

I tested the connection to a Belkin N1 router using disabled encryption and WPA - PSK (AES) such as recommended in the manual with no improvement in the range.

Addditionally, the wireless driver is identified as Realtek RTL8187 wireless 802. 11b / g 54mbps USB 2.0 network adapt with no mention of the project N.
