  I recently bought a computer with Windows XP and Windows 7 top load, but apparently when I was downloading Windows 7 it erased the sound card and now I have no sound.

  Before I loaded Windows 7 I + made + sound, and I tested the check on preloaded games.

  I tested the sound on several YouTube videos after downloading the program, but there was no sound. The small speaker on the bottom right of the screen has a x on it, which is unusual, I went into the Panel and discovered that I had "no audio output device installed.

  Where can I find a download of virus-free sound card? (Preferably Microsoft and if possible, free)

  I have the Satellite Pro M70. Update graphics on laptops is not generally possible. Perhaps CPU but graphics card. I really put t believe.

  I had to use my copy of dads of the toshiba startup disk to restore my Equium m70 psm77 because I lost my. sound was for an equium A100-147 and works perfectly except that it does not recognize my sound card and tells me that I must install microsot bus before it will work

  Don't know enough to fix and im missing my mates as we ve just moved here and I do not hear them so we cannot discuss

  Anyone got any ideas?

  PS its software multi media says is absent but pctures video and downloads and all other functons are fine...

  Don t use the series or different model Toshiba laptop recovery CD!
  The system will not properly work because drivers and tools that are preinstalled on the recovery for A100 CD are designed only for the model A100 laptop and not for M70 or other series!

  If you lost the recovery CD, you can either order a new one or you can use a new original CD of Microsoft Windows OS. You can then use the drivers from the Toshiba page.

  Are you sure that need the sound driver?
  Maybe some settings are not enabled in the--> sound & audio devices Control Panel
  If you want to get the volume control in the taskbar then you must activate this in sound & audio devices-> Volume tab-> check the option called icon volume space in the taskbar

  I think you didn't use the right card driver

  The sound chip comes from Realtek and you need to reinstall the Realtek audio driver for the audio.

  Equium M70 only supports SD cards up to 1 GB, so the SDHC cards will not work.
