  Looks like you've ruined the whole OS. Perhaps the installation of the graphics driver for the Toshiba page will help you. If this isn't the case,->, try to reinstall the entire operating system since the Toshiba Recovery CD!

• GPS Garmin 1490 t on PC connection problems

  After having intermittent problems, connect to my PC, I find now that it has become permanent. If I try to connect my Garmin 1490 t to my PC, I get a windows error message saying that before I can use the disk in drive G: I have to format it (I didn't). I tried to uninstall/reinstall the Garmin USB drivers and using USB different Sockets/cables but no difference. Windows disk management reports that the drive is "Healthy (Primary Partition)" and the "Raw" file system I can't access the drive to see what is on it, but the device works well in my car. Garmin support told me this isn't a Garmin issue as such, but I never had this problem with my tomtom. I don't know what to try next, so I hope someone can advise me.

  Right, so I bought my M70-164 in January and about 3 months later I sent support from Toshiba here in Portugal due to wireless connectivity problems. After a month and a lot of testing here the conclusions they came.

  Hope this story helps someone out there in the land having connection problems wireless. Writing on behalf of my Toshiba Equium loving daughter.

  I upgraded Oct last millennium to a new Vista desktop PC, computer laptop, Wi - Fi router and broadband.
  Router is a D DIR635 - Link which is nDraft; the PC is also activated nDraft.

  Cannot connect PC. Toshiba laptop connected instantly as he does for her BT Home hub back in Nottingham. Discovered new pilot on Ralink, downloaded, auto hunted the old wireless card and installed the new, workgroup PC. Bought Dell computer laptop to use throughout the House which connected instantly.   PS: There is no Vista divers for this laptop at the moment. That's why most of the features of laptop as media, FN keys, buttons etc does not work with Vista
