Download error / missing or corrupted Application Manager

I uninstalled and redownload Adobe Creative Cloud 4 or 5 times, , but I still have the same error message.


I can't open Indesign. Please, help me!

Follow the procedure below:

Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.

Using creative cloud | Uninstall the creative cloud desktop application

Temporarily disable the firewall.

Step 1:

Open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86)------\Adobe " common files".

Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

Step 2:

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.

Open Adobe file and if present the file to remove Adobe Creative Cloud . [* important]

Impossible to remove? Rename it to Adobe Creative Cloud centenarians.

Step 3:

Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) with the key R together at once, you will get a command window.

Type below command and press the enter"" key.

AppData

Then go to the Local > Adobe.

Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.

Step 4:

Make sure that Adobe Creative Cloud is not listed in the control panel > programs and features. list.

Click on the link below and download Adobe Application manager and install the same:

Once the installation is complete, look for the icon of Adobe Application Manager launch on desktop and double-click it.

It will start the update process.

Once completed,

He shud launch Adobe Creative Cloud app.

Then launch InDesign application and check.

    I have successfully solve my problems today after reading some related problems. The solution came to me when windows wouldn't let me not delete old files PSE 8 left in the Programs(x86) /Adobe. folder Windows says a file or files are used by an open application and therefore did not deletions. Therefore suggested to me that Photoshop Elements 8 can not completely completely uninstalled and was interfering with the functioning of the Applications Adobe handler.

    The story of my experience is that I was running windows 7 (64-bit) and used the PSE 8. When I bought the PSE 13 I installed without removing the PSE 8 to be sure that the PSE 13 would work first. It worked but I got the errors mentioned above, that is to say, missing or damaged Applications manager not able to install updates. I uninstalled PSE 8 but which did not correct these problems. Subsequently, I've updated to Windows 10 (64-bit) and the PSE 13 questions suite.

    Today, the solution was to:

    1. uninstall all Adobe software, including Adobe Flash, Adobe reader as well as PES 10

    2. restart the computer

    3 used CCleaner to remove remaining references to the Adobe programs deleted in the Windows registry. This required 3-4 passes.

    5 removed as much of the PSE 8 files in the folder Programs(x86)/Adobe/Photoshop Elements 8 that would allow Windows. It's all files with the exception of a font file Windows indicated was still used by an open application.

    6 restart the computer

    7A ran the registry CCleaner cleaner again and this time there were several references to the Photoshop Elements 8 license that were deleted file. This required only one pass of CCleaner, I think.

    8 restart the computer

    9. download and install 10 PSE using the user to the administrator for Windows 10. Then downloaded and installed update 10.1 PSE.

    PES 10 now works with the error messages now at startup and updates work

    El Capitan cause strange behaviour, especially problems with older software. As you may know, CS5 is end of life and has not been tested on the latest operating systems like OS X 10.11. There is no warranty, so that it will work. That said, there are several things we can try.

    First, El Capitan has caused some problems with the downloads due to its default security settings. Sometimes the questions like the one you experienced when you tried to download direct updates can be corrected by changing the settings temporarily.

    1. Go to the Apple icon in the menu bar and select "System Preferences."
    2. Click the "Security & Privacy" and make sure the "Général" tab is active.
    3. If the lock at the bottom of the menu is closed, click Unlock. You may be prompted to enter the password for your computer.
    4. Under "allow downloaded applications from" check the rocker next to "Anywhere".

    Once you have made this change, try again to download the updates manually from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/. If you are able to apply updates, don't forget to reset your security settings to your preferred level, once you're done.

    Still no luck? Let us know if you receive any kind of change in the error message or if it's exactly the same thing, and then we will continue accordingly.

    I'm unable to install the updates for my creative cloud apps as the Manager application has been corrupted.

    I can't figureout a way to uninstall it either as it is not in my list of programs (in windows).

    Welcome to the community!

    If you have any creative apps cloud then I would recommend you to download the application desktiop creative cloud instead of the Adobe Application Manager. Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and download it.

    There is no need to uninstall in case of creative cloud app works.

    Big problem with ligthroom CC,

    Initially, I got the error 16, I changed the name of some files the other instructions.

    Now, Lightroom still doesn't work and ask me for the "Adobe Application Manager, which is absent or"injured", to run the trial version. But I no longer use the version been trying for over 2 months!

  • Several applications downloaded 99% dropout in the Application Manager

    I am trying to download using the Application Manager. Some of the apps were downloaded and installed properly. But some of them (for example: the Prime Minister, Illustrator) downloaded simply stall on 99%, and nothing else happens. I tried to cancel the download and installation of something else (like Acrobat), and which went very well. But when I come back to say, Illustrator still once, hold it on 99% each time.

    FransAPT2013 you are on a managed network?  I have observed other users facing similar difficulties and this is usually due to their hardware firewall configuration.  Have you contacted your it Department?

    Please go to utilities > Adobe Installers. You Photoshop cs6 as uninstaller which are listed there. Please uninstall the product from there and then again Adobe Application Manager. who should provide you with the ability to install Photoshop CS6.

    Adobe asked me to consent to their new terms today, later that none of my load applications. It says "erreur error download, please contact customer support" but I found the overwhelming load line and read a lot of information about the errors that don't relate to me.
