  I suggest you to connect the printer even to the other computer and see if the printer is still slow. If the printer is still slow, then I suggest you to contact Canon support to check if there are all the settings of the printer.

  Hello, I was on MapQuest, went to print, then Fax Wizard jumped upward. I don't have a fax, phone or something connected to my computer. I went threw the control normal Panel, fax & printer deal, even tried to reinstall the CD for my Canon IP2700 printer. still no agreement. I can't stop this Fax Wizard to come. Help, please.   Reset the printer. Press the reset button and hold it while it is. Then, turn it on and press the reset button twice.

  To scan over the network:
  System uses the Microsoft driver and NOT the one for Canon scan. Scanning is invoked by wireless network.
  (8-64 bit Windows) computer must use the driver Canon NOT Microsoft!
  When you try to change the settings of the scanner with settings for the Canon of the window page, there are 2 to choose: the first is the Microsoft driver (Canon 5200 series WS) and Canon (Canon 5200 series XPS).   1 - Browsing the web I found a reference to the "128-bit studio-precision color" for the NVidia Geforce FX 5200 graphics so you are above the minimum.  Also, you say that you are currently running PSE 7, who has also ben 16 bit video at least.

  2 - However, since it is an old graphics card, I assume that you have an old PC. Are you satisfied that you are OK on other requirements of the material of the PSE 9?

  3 - I will be a Canon G12.  I wonder if you plan to also take the video with this camera?

  For video processing since the G12, I plan to first Elements 9 but I don't know yet how it works. If you also consider first Elements 9, then I recommend carefully checking your computer's specifications and perhaps post on the Adobe Premiere Elements forum for your comments.

  I contacted Canon, they have yet to get their act together (my words) and, at this late stage, realized that some of their software, drivers, etc., is incompatible with the Sierra.

  Their recommendation does not upgrade to Sierra if you want their kit to work.

  No time estimated for fix.

  Either by the way, Nikon have now identified a problem.

  Maybe Apple should have an Upgrade Advisor as Microsoft do...
