  Your monitor is hi-def. I guarantee you. Otherwise, it would be only 640 x 480 - which observers have not been since 1985.

  Are you sure that you have a Blu - ray disk drive on your computer?

  You can browse the files on the drive with your operating system? If so, what are the files do you see?

  Whence this BluRay disc? Is commercial disc or one that was created on another computer?

  Problem: Bluray discs will not play. CD will play.

  History: I did a clean install of Windows 7 and then installed 60 all the drivers from the support site for this laptop model. Or at least those that would install. Interestingly, the driver of Toshiba Bluray would not install. the installation process stated "player not found on your system" or something like that.

  What works the device currently is a 2006 (?) Microsoft driver.

  Clues? It's the second Toshiba laptop, I had to (second-hand), and they both had this problem: DVD players do not play DVD right from the start. Very annoying.

  The "Bluray driver" mentioned above is just the own DVD from Toshiba software. It is not a driver. And it does not find the optical drive Bluray on my laptop!

  - The Bluray optical drive will play DVDs, but not of Bluray discs. I'll borrow an another DVD Bluray at the local library, to ensure that it is not a disk failure.

  - I probably deleted the hidden partition that contains the Toshiba "system recovery disk". I have re-installed Windows and written too. [You are supposed to press "0" when the power, but it does not show the Toshiba Recovery console. I scoured the hidden with a freeware Windows partition and there is nothing usable here.]

  It is a stupid economy, not providing a system restore disk AND do not provide drivers download work. (The drivers offered on the site are simply updated). It makes the laptop value much less long term and creates bad word-of-mouth over time.

  The only station I have is to buy a Blu - Ray external drive and perhaps a Wifi dongle. Crazy.

  If a firmware update is available, you can find it on the official website of Toshiba:

  If this isn't the case, you already have the latest version of the firmware.

  In your case, I recommend to test different brands of blu - ray discs. I have good experiences with Verbatim and TDK discs.
  Check this box!

  By the way: I prefer a backup of the data on an external HARD drive. It of safer and easier! ;)

For example, I played Mad Max Fury Road 3D and Shrek 4 3D with Bluray Mac player and he listened via ATV3 (not wireless LAN) on the Epson 6600W.   Hi, we are currently running Windows XP SP3.  My daughter tries to download a song from Windows Media Player, she needs for her class dance.  It just download the song bad by accident without problem.  Now she's trying to download the song using the same CD (CD - R80) and it gives sound this error: «Please insert a blank disc in the CD drive (E :).» Once Windows Media Player detects a new disc, it will start automatically burning."  Someone please help.  She needs this to practice his senior dance solo.

  has been able to display BluRay on my Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC disks. then windows 7 screen opens asking to define the default media player. now my laptop reads BluRay discs as being empty.

  If you use HP MediaSmart DVD to read Blu - ray disc, try the following.

  HP now provides a version of PowerDVD 10 Cyberlinks which seems to be a better solution.  Download the installer for it on the link below and save it to your desktop.

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp53001-53500/sp53029.exe

  When the download is complete, open windows panneau Panel configuration, open programs and features, right click the entry for HP MediaSmart DVD and select uninstall - once this process is complete, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, double-click the installer for PowerDVD 10 start the installation.  Once this done, see if your Blu - ray disc now plays OK.

  Do not know what is happening, I understand that the snapshots are in a bad state for a reason I don't understand, however, I just want to remove all the.

  Ultimately that I restored a backup that comes with Veeam this backup did not have snapshots but was the most recent copy.

  Restore the virtual machine, and there is no instant, there was no need to consolidate.

  Some people said that to fix the error, you must fix the instantaneous chain. Which is probably a particularly risky and complex process with multiple nested snapshots. I have this mark as resolved, but if someone wants to contribute on how to fix this problem manually, or simply to force a fresh copy and to ignore snapshots please post and share.

  I export out of first two sequences: one is a 11 minute video that I exported a Bluray 1080 pm 23.976 h.264. The other is a sequence of 2 hours that I exported with h.264 Bluray 720 p 23.976. I has .m4v and WAV in again and made a basic menu, related all this and built a Bluray disk image. It was released as a 9 GB .iso. I then brought in disk utility which I burned on a Bluray disc on my mac pro book using an external Bluray drive via the USB port. I used the front disc to burn a blu ray and it worked fine. But this time when I go to play the disc after burning (using the same USB) DVD (mac OS app) says "disc not available".

  I tried several times with different long projects and I get the same questions.

  Any thoughts?

  My 'mac os support for playback of bluray' google suggests that the standard player mac does not support playback of bluray. I'd love to learn otherwise.
