I found a solution that worked for me.

Find a Solution for Me dealing with video drivers from DisplayLink USB 3.0

Only, I got this error after the purchase of a Dell S2340T touchscreen monitor, which comes with the DisplayLink drivers for video operation single USB 3.0 cable.

I didn't know it was bound and has worked with the support Microsoft in several calls to Xbox Live and the Support of the MS technology product, but finally discovered DisplayLink forum that many users have been seen this problem and get the error 0xc00d11d1 in Video App in Windows 8 when you try to view rented videos.    From 03/06/2013 they do not have a fix taken care for the question (something is related to pixels display problems in the video application itself).   The latest version of these drivers are 7.1 M1 02/01/2013 that still contains the bug causing problems with video App (content, protected by example. rented video playback).

Note DisplayLink drivers are not specific to the Dell S2340T, but used in many single USB3.0 video cable adapters.

Solution / work around:

Move to a solution of 2 cables for example. HMDI + USB and uninstall all programs displaylink software.  Restart the PC.   I changed the screen in HDMI and green Mode to avoid this automatic forcing install drivers when the display is detected by Windows 8.

Problem solved! I'll monitor the DisplayLink driver updates in the coming months and see if a fix out for it.

I'm a fool.

I finally realized what is my problem. I have need of the graphics software and core Displaylink.

I'm not using multiple monitors.

I am running Windows 8 Pro on a nice with a touchscreen of Dell S2340T desktop.

The tactile feature works without the Displaylink software. That's what I didn't know until now.

The Displaylink auto installs when you connect the monitor.

In the last two months I've dealt with Displaylink and Intel driver updates when all I had to uninstall the Displaylink software.

Once I did that, then turned off all processes and services Displaylink, my Win 8 machine works great.

Netflix, Hulu Plus, NBC News app, metro video and music app, photo app and maps... any great running.

No screen flashing, no blue screen...

Wow. And I was about to buy a new 8500 XPS to try to solve this problem.

Please don't call you a fool! It is a confusing area even for an expert.

I'm sure that if you run the S2340T in "Green Mode" (available in the menus) you will not be caused to load our software, but you will also lose out on wired ethernet features - if you have a desktop computer I don't know you have good mother ethernet and you card will not be worried about it.

Once we' worked ved which end of the wire has the bug (and fixed), then you can return to a functioning single, although at that time there, you get concerned about multiple ethernet connections...

All I can help you in your minority situation is two solution drip, wire and occasionally try again and see if it's been fixed (or visit these forums). I think that the S2340T really shines in a multiuse scenario. It's always great as tactile/camera solution for single use, but if you're wired always upward, two sons of data compared to one is not a huge deal.

Just to give, we demonstrated the S2340T many clients on Intel platforms, and problems are usually very soluble.

I just started getting this error when I access the videos on youtube.  It's never happened before.  Videos played perfectly on my blackberry so far.  I have not update or change anything the last time to date.  Only the update, I've done was App World, which I'm sure that has nothing to do with this error.  I tried to pull my battery - no luck.  I tried to play more videos (videos that I took myself) on the mediaplayer and it works very well (music plays as well).  My current OS is 4.7.1.40 and I am with the Telus network.

I hope I can get help for this!  Please and thanks in advance!

I tried firefox installed Linux OS installed in the same machine. Same problem on Linux too. Help, please.

Recently it has stopped working in Chrome and IE also. I found that the reason is due to DNS servers. I disconnected my broadband and used a 3G dongle and found that everything works. Then I contacted my broadband provider. In my context, DNS was automatic. I changed it to the number assigned by them. Now the problem is solved.

  • I'm trying to play a video in high definition on my XP SP3 via Quicktime and it keeps freezing

I have a class and I'm reading the video - a video on my XP SP3 of high definition and it keeps freezing - what should I do?

    Hi Libby.

You try to watch the video online or download it and watch it default media player?

If you look at it online the question is more than likely your internet speed. Then the computer components play a role in online video playback, much depends on your internet connection speed.

If you watch the video of your default media player then I ask if other videos behave in the same way.

  • SSL Protol error when trying to play the Facebook game

I get a SSL protocol error when I try to play a game on Facebook called Pot Farm.  I have already contacted the app support and they told me to make sure that my OS is fully updated with all the patches and I should be able to connect to the game.  I am running on a HP Pavilion 20 B-311 all in one PC with Windows 8.1 64-bit home edition.  The last time that I was able to connect to the game was right after that Microsoft has released updated earlier this month here.  I downloaded and installed the updates and restarted my computer.  I was able to connect to the game.  But later that day, I went to connect to the game again and started having the same mistakes.  From what I've seen on the research, there are many people who have the same problem as me.  Then I gathered all the necessary drivers.  And with a spare hard drive.  Installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I was able to connect to the game, but after that I did the last bit of updates.  I started making the same mistakes.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get this fixed?

    Please contact the Microsoft Community.

Which game you try to play?

I would have you try and re-install the game and check.

In addition, I'd like to as you open the prompt in elevated mode and then try and register the DLL by using this command:

Regsvr32 write the name of the DLL file.

We know if that helps you.
