  I am trying to acquire data from a microcontroller Infineon XMC 4500 with Protocol Modbus Series 9600 8 N 1; I also use a USB-RS232 converter.

  When I read books I get an error 1073807346 ("the given reference of session or object is invalid"). In particular, the error appears in the functions of reading records and read of input registers.

  I checked all possible solutions of document suopport, NOR in relation to this kind of error.

  One or more of your events are not passing the name of the resource through the register shift. You have chosen by default if Unwired. The default is a blank resource name.

• Keithley model 2400 example vi do not work? Error-1073807346

  I'm new to LabView and have a new installation of LabView 2010.  I made different tutorials and have been reading about LabView (I'm not new to programming of GPIB, just new to labview).  I found the drivers of instruments through the NI Instrument Driver Finder on the Help menu, and when I select the 24xx model in the Instrument Driver Finder, it shows me the window "Start an Instrument Driver for help".  When I double-click on one of the listed examples, say, 'Keithley 24xx Read Single.vi', for example, it loads the diagram before the Panel and the block of the .vi.  I'm assuming that they are * example * files, I don't need to make any prior configuration in the code before running it. However, when I press "Run" or "Continuous run" the same error message appears for each example .vi I.

  The error message is the following:

  1073807346 error occurred while opening VISA in Keithley 24XX.lvlib:Initialize.vi-> Keithley 24XX read Single.vi

  What exactly goes wrong?  I have VISA installed 5.0.3, it came with either the drivers for my USB-> GPIB cable or with the installation of LabView.  All the sample files .vi are located in "C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\instr.lib\Keithley 24XX\Examples".

  Quite difficult for me to follow the examples when I can't run them.  Thanks in advance for everyone entered.

  Never run continuously except when you want a vi to start and stop very quickly more and more.

  I'm contacting a digital wattmeter of Yokogawa WT210.  My LabVIEW application test works very well initially, getting data from this instrument, but ONLY errors after exactly 4 loops.  My program contains two frames.  I connect the resource (GPIB::5) for the second image and then in a while loop.   I've seen a lot of explaining on this error 1073807346, but mine seems unique because it works perfectly at first, but only through measure 4 loops before getting the error.  I use a GPIB OR.  I checked the "automatically close VISA session" and it is NOT enabled.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

  RESOLVED: I write to anyone who is interested.  Support OR contribute to focus on this issue.  It turns out that LabVIEW drivers I got from Yokogawa, missing some important features.  NOR has THEIR drivers for the same instrument, and it worked fine.  No VISA session failed.  The difference is that pilots NOT included 'initialize' and 'Cancel' the functions which were required for the instrument to function properly and not suspend the VISA session.  My lesson from this was to always use drivers OR wherever possible.

• Error with VISA Read (-1073807346)

  I use VISA read/write to control a glucometer and read files in memory. When I run the file memory for the first time, I get the error 1073807346 and the explanation is "VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF000E) the given reference of session or the object is not valid."

  However, when I run again immediately after (without doing anything except click Run), it works perfectly every time until I have log and restarts (while I get the same error, but it works each time after this).

  I checked my settings, they are correct and I also tried to run the command with Hyperterminal and it works. I don't know why this does not work the first time around.

  Any help you could give would be great. I have attached the file ("read Mem").

  You choose the resource monitor correct (I assume you are) before starting the program?

  Why do you have a picture of sequence around your code? The sequencing is already accomplished by the data cables. The last wait is relaxed.

  And most important: why do you have a feedback node in your visa session just before writing.

  Delete and press cleaning diagram.

• With the help of dynamically called screw in TestStand deployment

  I write code to interface with a & Rohde Schwarz ZNB Network Analyzer.  I use LabVIEW 8.2 and TestStand 3.5.  For reference the ZNB driver is available here: R & S of ZNB Driver.  I use a slightly older version of the driver, some before they needed to LabVIEW 2009.  I am writing all the code on a development machine that has the full version of TestStand/LabVIEW and it works on another machine that has the TestStand deployment license.

  This driver is dynamically linked to some things he needs.  I am able to operate with simple LabVIEW EXEs but not in TestStand deployments.  The following excerpt comes from their documentation, explaining a little about how the driver works and how to use in LabVIEW EXEs.

  3.4.2 How to generate executables or libraries in LabVIEW driver kernel drivers instrument based on attributes is dynamically bound to any VI performed during execution. This can be recognized by the LabVIEW application builder. The LabVIEW application builder follows all the static dependencies and include them in the package distributed at the generation of an executable file.

  To create an executable in LabVIEW, please manually add all the screws in the \PREFIX \_utility\callbacks folder to the LabVIEW project. In the case of project based please add private to your project folder. With this reference manual, the driver core is included in the compilation and the driver core is accessible during execution.

  I can't get this to work in TestStand deployments at all.  I can't even connect to the device since the VI Init has these issues.  I get the same error for all the various attempts that I made.  The same error is that when you add manually the screws for the LabVIEW EXE.

  So far, I tried the following, all solutions producing this same error.  I struggled with this and turned off for awhile then maybe there are other solutions attempts I forget.

  (1) it looked like a lot of the report to go to the private folder were finished in SupportVIs.  I manually pasted the rest there, too.

  (2) I added all driver files on my workspace and included in the files with the rest of my deployed screws.

  (3) I added all driver files on my workspace and said pilot TestStand to deploy them to the original location in Program Files.

  Someone at - it ideas?  R & S didn't even know what was TestStand, so that they could not help me.

  I was finally able to solve this problem on mine, the other day.  I brought the Network Analyzer to my office and did a lot of tests in this way.  Eventually, I discovered that I needed to include the folder private pilot deployment, what I was doing in one of previous attempts.  It turns out that you must also maintain the original of this file directory structure when you include it, otherwise dynamic calls are not looking in the right place.  Once it worked on my PC, I got it on the machine test and worked as well.

• How to create a start button

  Every time I run the VI and the VISA resource is not set correctly it automatically throws and error

  My intention of the 'Measure' button is to use it as a "Start" button so it doesn't throw the error as soon as a user runs the program when it not even had the opportunity to select a file or a resourse VISA and at the same time I would like to activate the while loop.

  What would be the best way to go about this, should use a structure of the event or conditional disable structure or another method

  I'm kind of old school and can't find much use for event structures, but... give it a try.

  

  I do not know somene here who really understand the event based programming could do better.

  My program works 100% in LabView, but the problem comes when I compiled the program into an executable.

  I have already installed runtime NI VISA 5.0.1 and it still does not work.

  I also installed the drivers of 2.73 OR-488. 2 for the GPIB unit.

  Any ideas?

  I thought about what it (finally), it works now!

  After adding the screws needed for the project you should also go to the executable properties-> Source files and then select all the files to be "Always included" on the right side.

  I am using LabView 2010 to control a Keithley 2400 Sourcemeter on an RS-232 Interface. I want to set up a measure and take a reading (e.g. ground voltage / time)

  I took an example of "Keithley ReadOnly" library code, but the 1073807346 error to retrieve box "initialize". Then I looked in 'Initialize. VI"and found there is a VISA (timeout error?) reading error. I have attached two screenshots that shows errors. Can someone tell me how to solve the problem? Moreover, I am very new to labview, if someone could suggest a solution that is not too 'Advanced '? Thank you very much.

  I recently added the cryogenic temperature controller pilot Lake Shore model 336 in the folder instr.lib under program files of National Instruments. When I tried to run one of the example programs accompanying the driver, LabView gave:

  Because I was working on an another VI at the time I just ignored the error and planned to fix it later. The other program, which had a servo error since last week-free motor, are also starting to give an error:

  Improper installation of the Lake Shore drivers affect somehow my other instruments? I am running LabView 2012 and have NI-VISA 4.6.

  Lakeshore pilots apply their own version of VISA?  Sometimes conflicting versions of VISA can cause problems.

  Try to get itunes working to make a backup of my faulty iphone before repair.

  First-itunes does not start says error. I'm trying to fix it, who said success but same error when you try to start it.

  Then uninstall completely worked. Then reinstall that seemed to be over except for a message "an older version of Apple software update already exists" then he went down and install itunes apparently had not been completed.

  Hi, I searched some forums and found this script below which I modified. It works great except for a single statement:

  runScript If = 1 then number error -128 I want the script to do is, when a USB drive is mounted and is in the ignoredVolumes as "USB Untitled" I want the script to stop. What I can't understand is, runScript is set to 1, "Untitled USB" Monte, runScript is not changed, why don't the script stops with an error "user cancelled"? On the other hand, if a key USB Monte is not in the ignoredVolumes, runScript is set to 2 and copy the file I want it. What hurts? It's probably something that will be very obvious when I see the answer.

  I had a problem with the rotation of the screen under macOS Sierra function. As the screen rotates, there is an error that pop up and later that I'm unable to get into system-> Display Preferences. It is for me a "mistake preferably: County not load display preferences" message and I was unable to rotate the screen back. I started from the system in safe mode and temporarily solved the problem. But if I want to rotate the screen again, it pops up the same error again. I was using the rotation function pretty well in OS X El Capitan. But since I updated to macOS Sierra, I had this problem.

  I wanted to know if there is a lasting solution to this problem.

  I'm using macOS Sierra on MacBook (13-inch, early 2015) Air with processor 1.6 Ghz Intel Core i5 and 8 GB memory DDR3 at 1600 MHz with 128 GB of storage.

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I see that since upgrading to Mac OS Sierra problems of screen rotation. The preferences window does not. I know how it is important for your Mac to work reliably. I'll be more than happy to help.

  Great job to test mode without failure. In Safe Mode disables most of the third-party services, it could be a compatibility problem with an application that you have. Check out this article:

  You can not hold account that the title suggests it's to El Capitan. It applies to macOS Sierra as well.
