    Hello

    Ipsec proxies are not empty. [: / 0/0/0] means any ipv6 address ([: / 0/0/0] with a length of 0 ipv6 prefix), any ipv6 Protocol ([: /0/0/0]) and the ports of l4 ([: /0]). This should with an implementation of Asit because all traffic sent to the VTI interface is encrypted and the encryption policy is controlled by the routing.

    I hope this helps.

  • Suddenly our router keeps losing the internet.   The representative of the Cox says that IPV6 on the router is not compatible with the Cisco modem.   I'm turning it off?   Who is?   All started 3 days ago.   Have to reboot AirPort Extreme

    Suddenly Tuesday, our wifi stopped working.   Cox can not see anything on their end.   So far, we had to restart 5 times.   I finally realized that it is not the modem (Cisco), but our AirPort Extreme.   That's all that needs to be restarted.   I talked to a technician that I got to know, and she said that this week this problem started occurring with customers who have extremes of the airport.   Something about the airport in IPV6 and this is not compatible.   Before systems were PVI until the numbers came out (?)   In any case, she said Cox could not fix this, that I needed to talk to Apple to see if I could disable IPV6, at least for now.   I think I see how to do this, but does it make sense to anyone?   We have a new modem, installed in January, Cisco DPQ3212, good speeds, no issues whatsoever until this week.   There are also 2 other friends here (Scottsdale, Cox) with extremes of the airport.   Any suggestions?

    Cox has made a number of recent changes to their service, and they are trying to integrate IPv6 technology into their signals. They have not fully implemented the changes that must be made, and not commit to a date where things will be fully installed.

    Everything was fine until Cox implements these recent changes, and now Cox is blaming the problem on Apple. Apple has a different answer, as you can imagine. It is typical among manufacturers... blame the other guy.

    Apple routers are picking up some of the information they need to work with IPv6 and Cox, but since Cox has not completed the process, you'll probably best results trying to not use IPv6 with the airport router at all until you receive word of Cox that their systems are ready.

    The bottom line to this problem can be resolved by asking "What has changed".  The answer is Cox has changed.

    Configure your router to the airport most convenient to use IPv6 local link parameters only for now, to see if this will help.  You will not be able to realize all the benefits of IPv6 at the moment, but I hope that things will improve.

  • VMware Guest works with IPv4 and not IPv6 - ideas everything?

    Well, have a little patience with me. I have a very complicated setup which works perfectly with IPv4, but does not work with IPv6. I hope that one of you superstars can help me to understand how to enable IPv6. Here are the basic configuration:

    Mac mini:

    • Mac mini (end 2012) Mavericks 10.9.5 and VMware Fusion 7.1.0 Server
      • A KDLINKS up one1 account USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter is installed. It is functionally identical to all other brands of USB3/Gigabit Ethernet, which is based on the 6 AX88179 chipset adapter; which is the latest version.
      • (I have another identical USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter, still in the box, do not set, in case this might help the solution.)
      • The most recent 6 Mac driver is installed in the Mac mini, downloaded from ASIX. (The driver on the driver of the KDLINKS Web site is a little older).

    Internet connection:

    • Our Internet connection is a regular cable modem. The cable modem is a simple bridge, Ethernet cable. He gets a public (Internet) IP address on the ISP using DHCP Ethernet interface, as you can imagine.

    VMware Fusion Guest - a firewall device:

    • The VMware Fusion guest is a firewall device. Here's its network configuration:
      • The internal interface is bridged to the Mac mini integrated Ethernet adapter. It has a private IP (10-net). It serves as a one-stop shop for all of your home LAN.
      • The external interface is bridged to the USB/Ethernet adapter. The device of host firewalls Gets the address public Internet IP from the ISP via DHCP.

    Mini Mac Network Configuration:

    • Network Configuration Mac mini (OS X System Preferences network 10.9.5,):
      • The Mac mini integrated Ethernet is configured with a fixed IP on the LAN private address and is configured to use the private IP address of the firewall device of comments as the gateway and DNS server.
      • Adapter USB/Ethernet of the Mac mini is defined as:
        • Configure IPv4: Off
        • Advanced... Configure IPv6: Link-local only
        • The goal is to ensure that the Mac mini can be reached or attacked from the Internet. All Internet traffic should be a device of host firewalls.

    Totally works with IPv4.

    Surprisingly, this all works with IPv4 without any problem whatsoever.

    IPv6 taken in charge by the provider of Internet services and tested with Time Capsule:

    There is no problems with IPv6 when I use an Apple Time Capsule as the firewall / router between the home network and the Internet, using the same cable modem. It is easy to configure, and IPv6 works inside the LAN House and all as well go to the servers on the Internet that support IPv6. Tested, working, as expected.

    I'd do it want to use this device to host VMware Fusion as our firewall router firewalls House for IPv4 and IPv6, the time Capsule not.

    THE PROBLEM:

    The device of host firewalls cannot acquire an IPv6 address of the ISP. He obtains an IPv4 address, but not an IPv6 address.

    THE QUESTION:

    What can I do to make the apparatus of host firewalls acquires an address IPv6, the same way as did the Time Capsule?

    • The Mac mini (host) does not expose its interfaces directly to the Internet.
    • The Mac mini (host) would carry its IPv6 Internet traffic via the comments, the same as its IPv4 Internet traffic firewall application.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I solved my problem. It was a setting of configuration of the firewall of comments and had nothing to do with VMware Fusion. Here are the details, in case others have the same problem:

    Comments firewall device has been configured as a gateway IPv4, but not as an IPv6 gateway. As a result, the firewall received a single IPv6 address of the ISP. It was a 128, of course.

    Once I enabled the 'IPv6 Default Gateway' setting for the interface external unit of firewall of comments (which translates as the USB3/Ethernet interface to the cable modem) and rebooted the modem cable and firewall, the firewall has asked an IPv6 network block instead (a 64 network). After that, everything worked as expected.

    I know that nobody has answered this detailed query, but I know that a lot of people read it. Thanks for taking a peek. I hope this solution helps others.

  • Please help me with my Apple Airport Extreme

    Aabout 2 weeks ago, we had a storm really come through the East Texas up to this point my router was working fine. The first week, I called and my ISP said that we had a power outage in the area and I thought that I thought this would happen so I waited a week so that they could get that clears up and the fact that I was always getting internet was slow, but I was still getting service.  Next week I continues to check the speed of the internet, and it was still slow so I called the ISP and they said everything was good at the end there are so I hooked my book mac ylthe modem and tested it and I was getting high speed but when I connected it to my router it was lamentable, once again. Now, here's where it gets weird in the morning as around 05:00, I get great service, but when I come home it's crap. I called apple and talked to technical support and just tried what they suggested that they sent me a replacement and it does the same thing, I am at a loss and do not know what could do this I changed the network name where only my Mac has been on the network and no dice. I put in Bridge mode with Mac connected directly to the airport and he did good but as soon as it went wireless was not good! So guys and girls I know this is a long post and it is typed on my iPhone but do I just go and buy a new router or I can save this one, because I don't really like it. Thanks for your help, sincerely Josh

    We need more details.

    Who is your ISP? Cox in particular is having problems with IPv6. There is a long thread to here about it.

    This modem do you have?

    You can test the direct connection to the modem after you come home and give us the real speed test. Then, put the airport back and test again... show the actual speed.

    Even in the morning when the airport looks ok.

  • IPv6 and AirPort Extreme Gen 5 connection drops

    My ISP is over native IPv6 but the AirPort Extreme (AE) abandons the connection every 30 minutes or more.

    I've tried different settings IPv6 and the only one that gave stable results is to:

    -Block all the incoming IPv6

    -Allow teredo and IPSec tunnels

    -IPv6 tunnel fashion game

    If IPv6 is set to native, airport utility shows the Internet connection disabled. So far with the tunnel mode, it seems to work. IPv6 - test.com results show 6to4 good feature as well.

    Someone else had problems with the products of the AE and IPv6 settings?

    He would have nothing to do with IPv6, but the problem was triggered by the latter.

    This modem do you have? Brand and model please.

    And who is your Internet provider because your Setup sounds weird... it should not be necessary to the IPv6 block.

  • myIpAddress() returns IPv6 address in Firefox 4 proxy.pac file

    I have a proxy.pac file that works very well with IE9 and Chrome in Windows 7 that selects a proxy based on myIpAddress(). It did not work in Firefox 4 and it turns out that myIpAddress() amounted to the IPv6 address of the computer, instead of the IPv4 address. Is there another function that is guaranteed to return the IPv4 address, or some other parameter that would guarantee myIpAddress() returns the IPv4 address? I would rather not remove the Protocol IPv6 to the client computer.

    We used the isinnet function (myipaddress ()) to determine if a laptop was in the company network or not, in this way, we could tell the browser to use the proxy or not.
    As an alternative, we went to check if an internal DNS address can be resolved or not.

    function FindProxyForURL (url, host)

    {

           // proxy only needed if in 10.10/16
           //if(!isInNet(myIpAddress(), "10.10.0.0", "255.255.0.0"))
           //        return "DIRECT";

          // This is now used as the above has issues with ipv6
              if(!dnsResolve("name.internal.domain"))
                       return "DIRECT";
           // if resolvable use the proxy
                    return "PROXY proxy.internal.domain:8080";

    }

    Hope it will be useful, because it took a little time to think about it. (with the help of a colleague)

  • ReadyNAS 102 with 6.4.1 alerts not configurable

    Hello

    I have a 102 ReadyNAS, bought two new drives and a factory reset to install readyos 6.4.1.

    Now I can't set up email alerts.

    I enter a new contact and e-mail options complete (server, etc.). After hitting the testmail button, it takes a while and I get the message "testmail could not send." But the email is sent correctly. Under alerts, "e-mail service to send alerts is not configured" is still there. When I hit the reload all my alert settings are lost.

    What's not here?

    I found the problem!

    It comes to IPv6. My email provider seems to have problems with ipv6 in some cases. With a name of dns ipv4-mailserver, it works now.

  • OfficeJet 7612: Can I print on OfficeJet 7612 IPV6 address (model number: G1X85A)

    I can use the IPV6 address to access the printer if I enclose the address in square brackets.

    But using the "IP Address update" tool brackets and colons are not allowed, which enters the IPV6 addresses are not allowed?

    Is it possible to print to the IPV6 address?

    This can be done - but not by using the HP software.

    Instead of using the HP applications "" Update IP address"or HP" printer setup and software ', use the control panel and use the "add new printer" there.

    When Windows search for the printer, you can cancel the search and then click on the button for "I don't see my printer listed.  This will take you to the screens that will allow you to manually enter the IP address and that he accepts the IPV6 address.  Once you enter the address, windows find the printer and allow you to use the HP drivers for it and choose a name for it

    So now, I have the printer appears twice.  Once with IPV6 and once with IPv4.  When in the VPN, I can print to the printer "IPV6".  And if not in the VPN, I can use the HP stuff for printing, set the IP address, check fax, scan and ink levels.

  • Slow download with WRT1200AC/SB6121 Modem/Comcast Internet speeds

    I recently bought the router WRT 1200 AC to complete my wifi at home.  I also have a new laptop Windows 10.  When you are connected wireless network, I ran the test of speed of Comcast.  Results are usually the following:

    IPv4 - 2 MB/s download, 5mbps download

    IPv6 - 30 MB/s download, 6 Mbit/s upload

    I also connected to my wireless on my laptop and run the OOKLA speedtest application.  With this app I usually get similar results to the IPv4 of the comcast speed test.  Sometimes I get the faster speeds of IPv6.

    When I have a wired connection to the router I get download speeds of 30mbps.

    My question is why can not I get slow speeds of download IPv4 and what can be done to improve the situation?

    Thank you

    Router and wired Configurations
    Configuration DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. This ensures that each devices gets its own IP address when turned on and connected, eliminates conflicts of IP addresses and helps troubleshoot and maintain some consistency for applications that need to connect and mapped drives.
    Make sure that the devices are configured automatically obtain an IP address.
    Disable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipv6 on the router, select Local connection only and test with IPv6 active. Re-enable after the test.
    Disable the power management on the Ethernet on any PC or laptop

  • IPv6, WRT1900AC, Android and Google Services

    Hey guys,.

    I recently discovered that I had to disable IPv6 in my rotor must be able to connect to Google services on my android products. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas as to why this would be the case? I am running the latest FW for the wrt1900ac and Android devices. I had the problem where the wrt1900ac did not have a new IPv6 address after update, but I fixed that by closing both the rotor and the modem now the rotor shows that he has an IPv6 address. Any suggestion of ideas on this would be useful. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Thanks to all who responded. I tried to connect my Linux directly on the modem and box that runs the IPv6 test and had the same failures. I also went on the TWC forum and saked if they had IPv6 in my area and learned that TWC has problems with IPv6. A TWC probplem is not my wrt1900ac. For now I'll disable IPv6 in my rotor and wait and see what TWC. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions.

  • Router E900 with Macintosh - download from Internet computers

    I just bought an E900/switch wireless router to replace an old Linksys. I've been on the phone for more than two hours with a Linksys tech support (I don't want to even go there), and they can't help me.

    I set up the router for the Mac (OSX 10.5.8). main I have a laptop G4 (OSX 10.5.8) and also a Dell PC with XP (which I almost never use).

    The Dell works just fine. But here's the problem with Macs. MOST of the sites will be open very well - very quickly. However, there are a handful of Web sites that take a long time to open or won't open at all. It comes to Google, Yahoo, Youtube, and Facebook.  I tried everything and nothing seems to work.

    The technical support people can not explain either. Why would more average websites open in mili-seconds and the very basic (Google, Youtube, etc.) take forever?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    This could have something to do with IPv6 connectivity. Some sites Web now uses the IPv6 servers. With your network running on IPv4, it takes time to translate the data to the format that the Web and its content pages tend too very slow load. See the article below for instructions.

    Don't worry, IPv4 will be here for many years to come.

    In any case, IPv6 on Vista is not a simple matter, it can be used by it takes a while to set up.
