  Thanks for posting "Preparation for Windows 7" community forum.

  Of after the information provided which happens usually not, is that the system tries to write to the partition recovery or diagnostic partition instead of the C:\.  You can confirm the backup partition is written is done to partition the drive, and you want the backup to reside.

• LR6.5.1 creates the zip file for archive back-up and takes a long time

  have a quick question because I updated from LR5.7 to LR6.5.1 two days ago

  I am runing a MACBookPro with OSX 10.11.4 system

  I noticed two differences main performances, where I don't have an explanation for:

  1. LR 6.5.1 creates a zip file, when backup archive (automatically, or can we turn that off?)
  2. LR6.5.1 takes twice as long for the back-up LR5.7.1 (a reason for this?)

  Could be, at that time there difference between 5.7 and 6.5 in creating backup has been due to the effort of compression

• An error occurred when creating an application

  With the help of EMP 11.1.2.3.

  I want to create a classic application.

  I created the user database with all of the grants.

  I created a data source in EPM.

  When I try to create the application, it returns "an error occurred when creating the application."

  I searched through all the directories of newspapers and can not find a single log file that captures the reason for the failure.

  Last time that this happened, someone said I should check and make sure that all services were running.  I'm not quite sure where to look for this on a Linux machine.

  I don't know where to another to watch, or what else to do.

  Any suggestions would be helpful, because I am relatively new to EMP.

  Bingo, now, you must run the configurator and check the details of planning for the datasource planning repository. It should point to your R & A schema. If its correct.

  Then, change the details to have your outline plansys and redeploy the application planning both by the configurator. In the end, you will need to reconfigure the web application of the Foundation. so that all the information updated in the registry.

  You can check the location and measures of reference in my post above.

  PS: If your outline plansys have tables of HSPSYS_, then you will need to select drop and re-create option of the configurator. as the safest stages, you can take backup of plansys.

  There seems to be a problem with your xml file. Please work with channel support to investigate this issue.

• R12 rapidwiz error on node2 - AC-00002: error: unable to create the log file

  Over multiple node R12 on Enterprise Linux 4 installation fees. below error is encountered on node2

  I think you've correctly identified the source of your problem. By default, the NFS mounts are usually created with the 'root_squash' option, where the user root on a remote system creates its files as the anonymous user ('nobody' in most cases) on the exported NFS volume. It is usually a good practical security; However, in your case, you need to export the NFS volume with no_root_squash to allow the user root on Node2 to create files as expected when you run RapidWiz. Once installation is complete, you should be able to go back to using the default root_squash option, as the following files in the filesystem level of demand will be created by non-root users.

  Your system administrators may not be happy with the idea of an export of no_root_squash, and I wouldn't blame them. :-) If there is dispute, make sure that they understand that it is only for the duration of the installation of the EBS, and she can (and should) be powered once the installation is complete and verified to work.

  These two articles offer a brief explanation of the purpose and value of the NFS mount root_squash/no_root_squash export options.

• Win2k3 Server IIS SChannel event 36871 "a fatal error occurred when creating the SSL server credential information."

  To make a long story short, I went to use client software that I use a few times a week and it would not connect to the server, complaining not found or number of SSL.  When research various dcom, schannel errors errors in the event logs and a few others, I systematically over the last 24 hours cleared up the boot is so now clean (no time starting network on startup and no message on the service could not start).  It seems that something has happened a month ago after that the server crashed where at least the first DCOM messaged presented themselves, but everything has been working well until it didn't.  The dcom patches end up having to do with the ...\rsa\machinekeys (and the way that it) had a few "account unknown" in it, I cleaned everything that (at a time since I removed all items in this folder, but then put their subsequent return (by crushing all except 2 after creating a new certificate), had to reinstall virtual server and iis 6) , at some point as well.  In any case, I'm at the point where everything works (no event log errors/etc) from startup until you try to connect to the IIS 6 Server using https:... at this point, you get the event SChannel 36871 "a fatal error occurred when creating the SSL server credential information." (no additional information) is connected and the client browser cannot access the site (you can keep trying and it does not work but no event log entry more).  So that's where I'm sitting, http: works fine, https: No.  Certificate appears in the default Web site correct, said valid and possesses the private key, port 443 is there, all addresses by default, netstat shows port 443 same process id as the port 80.  I can't find a copy of SSLDiag do test to see if that prove something?

  So I need help what is not going to get this new job of fixing.  What should I do?

• Cannot create a zip file in Windows 8

  For some reason, I don't have the ability to send files in a folder compressed (by right-clicking on the file and then using the menu 'sent' to a compressed file. Also, the icon zip under the sharing tab in the file browser is grayed out, so I can't create the file zip file that way either. Is there a setting I need to change back to the possibility of creating a zip file in Windows 8? I downloaded and am currently using a 3rd zip application part as a replacement for Win zip 8, but wonder why it is no longer available. I'd appreciate any help!

  Assuming that you are talking about Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard, it is far from being compatible with Windows 7, if problems are to be expected.

  The first version which has been is 9.2, if I remember correctly.

  Send Adobe is the current solution to Adobe for sending large files. (This is Adobe SendNow who retires soon.) Can you tell us what you were running by using Adobe send?

  It is not a special version of Zip for Acrobat files, but you could reduce the size of the PDF file if you have Acrobat. Or, in Windows, you can create a Zip file by choosing File > Send to > compressed (zipped) folder.

• where to add the db CAN format when creating an exe file.

  I created an executable file to run on a PC not of LabView. When I run the file, I can't seem to select the database when I right click on the target computer. On my development machine, the exe seems to know where is the PB.

  I guess that the Pb, I installed on computer target in the right folder. Is there a 'best practice' to avoid this error?

  I did include the DBC in the LabVIEW project and then include it in the EXE. I have also included in the installer, but what I is not install NOR-XNET on the target computer. I understand NEITHER-XNET DURATION in the installer. My question was on start up I have a dialog box select the database using a right-click of the mouse on the control (according to the test, the CBD may be different).

  the right click appear the selection "Browse for Database File... ", but it would not execute the file dialog popup after, so I had no database selected and initialization crashed.

  After the installation of NOR-XNET, the popup has worked and I was able to select the database what ever I wanted. Bottom line, I will include OR-XNET, not only the version of the Runtime for all of my installers using CAN.

  Thanks for the help programming, I will try and include your departure to check what aliases exist in XNet using the Get database list. This seems really smart to make sure that the wha DBC file are available.

  I created a zip of a directory tree file using "send to...". "'Compressed (zipped) folder '. When I try to "extract all...". ", he asks me a password for some (not all) of the files in the zip file. I does not have a password for the zip file. I didn't even know it was possible to have a password on a specific file in a zip! Needless to say, I can not give the password because I don't know what it is.

  I tried the following:
