Error 80070002 Windows Update to update 2785094
Windows 8 Pro x 64
Tonight, I get the error code 80070002 when you try to download the update on KB2785094. All other updates have been installed without problems.
I tried the solutions set out on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821 without success.
Please notify.
Best regards, Steve
I've also corrected the problem by running sfc/scannow as administrator prompt., who has done the same thing you say about shortcuts. A log file has been "corrupted", sfc fixed it and the update installed.
Users will customize their interface immediately. Updates should be designed to take account of this, without the message "Cannot install the update" that some users (novice) may find alarming.

Code800F900 'unknown error in windows update' trying to download windows vista service pack 2
try to download windows vista service pack 2. Last update was on May 21, 2010. For a few weeks or months, the computer can be terribly slow. Often a hard drive rattle sound. For this, I tried anti-spyware, last week I installed and ran AdAware from lavasoft. It found nothing except two small cookies. A few weeks earlier, I had done the same thing using windows Defender. Also nothing. Along with a check disk hard I did not find much either. What end of the lifecycle for this computer, now about 3 years? He was one of the first available vista computers. Thank you for your help, Peter

Why did you delete your post where you said that Norton application has been installed at some point in the past?
There is nothing wrong with the guarantee of these forums, but I'd be willing to bet that there is something VERY wrong with the security of your computer!

Error 80070002-Windows cannot find the updates or update iTunes
For a month I tried to update iTunes and Windows Update. For both I get 80070002 error. I did everything what I found on the web, and that microsoft has suggested. I stopped Windows Update and deleted files data store and downloads. I made a new folder. I ran the MIcrosoft Fix It automatically. I saw something on the execution of the sfcscannow, but I get an error message saying "windows resource protection could not start service.". I have read some information telling me to find installer of Modules of Windows in my services, but I don't have that. I have just Windows Installer. What is the problem? Thanks for any help.
When you ran the utility CheckSUR was there all the packages that could not be fixed/repaired? Who can help us figure out why SFC does not. You can also try to do one in place upgarade

Hello!
As you can guess Windows Update is not installed for a few months. Cryptographic services does not start . CPP is the beginning.
Error: 80070426
Already tried a few suggestions MSKB.
Method 2: Set Cryptographic Services to automatic, network logon. Result: Error (unsigned) 1083
Method 3: Rename the Catroot2 folder
Reregister DLL files that are associated with Cryptographic Services.
However, suite couldn ' t be installed.regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dllregsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dllDCOM service - access denied when running.
sfc/scannow couldn't fix some corrupted files.
Computer HP laptop came with Vista pre-installed, so I do not have the repair disk.
No doubt the system restore won't help, as I remember recently that c-Cleaner wiped the old restore points.
NOD32 Antivirus + Spyware Doctor still running. Already run MSRT and Super Spyware, but nothing much.
Kindly help!
Kind regards

Finally, I worked it out myself. But it's painful to watch than virtually any other that Uday has responded to my problem. Something I've been waiting for so eagerly.
I applied my common sense and defragmented the dirives then sfc/scannow, and it worked. Cryptographic Services said when I began to log in as network account. So my problem is solved. Now, windows update works fine.
Interestingly, Microsoft Fix it, says it cannot start the Cryptographic Services. Are God, while the _____ you supposed to difficulty? It made Internet Explorer icon on my desktop and other places.

How can I fix error 802400D Windows Update?
I had a lot of problems with Windows Vista 64-bit. Now, the most recent is 802400D error!
I tried to get help from Windows support, but they wanted me to pay $150.00 if I just bought the Lap top in December.
This is an outrage, and it is certainly not customer friendly and ethically wrong! Please someone help me with this error. Thank you!
