  Are you sure that acrobat 8 belongs to CS6?

  Acrobat 8 used to come with the CS3 version.

  Acrobat 8 requires CS2 or CS3. This has nothing to do with the creative cloud or CS6. You will need to reinstall all suite supplied with product and serilaize this way, which is not at all possible on the contemporary operating systems for technical reasons and for this reason:

  I don't see why you would want to keep Acro 8, when creative cloud you Acro XI included...

  Hi all, anyone having this problem with Acrobat Pro XI, IM USING MAC, also Yosemite if that helps.

  Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY, HE just left and I had to uninstall, re install, and I get this

  Acrobat 8 Pro is not compatible with Win 7 - especially for the creation of PDF files.

  I bought and installed Acrobat 8 Professional a few years ago and he always answers all my meager needs so have not upgraded to a later version.

  However, since installing Windows 10, whenever I re - start my computer adobe returns a message that it cannot access the internet (to re-register?)  even if the internet complete is available and currently in use with other programs.  Windows also returns a message each re-start, it is re-setup of Acrobat.

  Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 10. It may or may not work properly.

  It is also an old version and not supported.

  Try once the steps of troubleshooting provided in this KB doc: Advanced solutions to errors in connection with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications. Check if this may help.

  It is indeed very old, so old that never knew for the most current Adobe staff is no longer activated, cannot be installed on current Mac systems and will not work on Windows systems.   Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  If the problem was caused by a windows update, I'll try to see if you can do a system restore and go back before the update has been applied to your system.  Click the number of the KB article and follow the steps in KB.
