As I drove deep into the logs, I noticed that the riwTDBup.sh of ended not because it could not open the database. I noticed that riwTDBup.sh called sets in environment in $INST_HOME/ora/10.1.2/ and then tries to start a receiver located at $INST_HOME/ora/10.1.2/network/admin - this is where I see that no listener has been created. A tnsnames.ora is there but no listener. So I went to $ADMIN_SCRIPTS and I try to manually start the receiver and although his place as well and it is said that there is no listener for APPS_VIS. How is it, my interlocutor is not be created and can someone tell me what am I did not right, why it is constantly at the end of the installation.   I'm mad at myself. After having sitting just think and get back to the basics... Why my application server cannot connect to my database, especially after the fact that I did this install successfully before? After decision on the fact that both servers could talk to each other, a light bulb off, I knew it was something blocking the connection and then I thought about it. LOL, that was the firewalls. I deleted the application server and restart installation with two disabled firewalls and it worked even fix the error of libgcc_s.so, installing crossed without errors at all, everything was fine with my host and domain name. LOL, I can finally say that I can install Oracle EBS R12.1 without errors.

  Even if it took my whole weekend, I wouldn't change a thing. I learned so much troubleshooting idea, funny how you can look in hindsight and appreciate the growing pains. Thanks Hussein for all the help! Next upgrade of database and applications, then learn how to install Rac and how to install EBS on rac and Oracle EBS on PAP management, if you have any suggestions on where to go to learn these things it would be awesome!

• Captivate 9 App Packaging - icons

  With the old stand-alone app package manager, I was able to first generate the output of the HTML5 and add an icon to the application before packaging.  With app package that is integrated in the main application, it is not this intermediate step and it seems that I am stuck with the default Captivate icon.  Does anyone know a way around this?

  If not, is it possible to come back from my days working in Captivate 9 to 7 Captivate format, until this "improvement" has been made?  (The Captivate 7 app standalone package manager will not affect files html5 published by Captivate 9).

  Sorry, solved my problem.  Quite simply, do not use the app package manager integrated into Captivate.  Publier publish HTML5 Zippes, and then add icon.png and your config.xml in the zip file.  Go to Phonegap Build and '+ new application' button at the top right.

• Error App Builder

  After update of our passwords we get an error in the App Builder trying to "Create App". The application builder will allow us to change our password to the new password in the first screen but once we are done setting update our app and try to finsh the application by selecting 'Create App', we get an error App Builder for DPS. "The production server has encountered a problem with authentication" error when you try to create the app with our updates. Is that what this becuse of the change of password or something else?

  We have released a fix for this problem on Friday evening. It should be resolved now.

  It was a patch server so there is no need to update your client App Builder.

  I just published an application using the app package manager and noticed an important bug that users should be aware of.  I changed the preloader icon in captivate 7 in active e-Learning to a different image file, included in the package.  When I downloaded the app, IOS application might not compile in build phonegap and complained a file with a space in its name.  After much research I noticed that a lot of jpeg, png, giff and included in the e-Learning active preloaders had spaces in the name.  If you remove the spaces in the name or use a preloader icon containing no spaces, compiles the ios app.

  Of course, make sure that none of you have your library files have spaces in the name of.

  Hi Alex,

  This is because there are stuck discussions who are unable to complete the assigned task.

  Try restarting the server and import of the jar. This should solve the problem.

  If you see this repetition, check the server logs for more information about the blocked threads. Also perform the thread dump and analyze them for more information on threads.
