Error bad 5205 satellite on recovery machine

My 5205 s703 came with a bad machine after an attempt to recover from a system failure. I remember using the DMI toshiba update to try to resolve the problem of ID. (he is the ID changing 5205 to 5200 5205). That's why the recovery disk does not work because the machine it's a 5200. The motherboard has never changed or altered. The software DMI to fix this toshiba has failed. (Website e. u.).
I was left with not being able to access my data from the computer. I contacted the service agent in Cambridge, who suggested I get a caddy and plug my hard drive in another computer to retrieve all my critical files before sending the computer for repair. Thank you for that. Now I have satellite hard drive in a basket attached to another computer. The question is, can I now repair the file that is preventing the computer from starting while I have access to the hard drive. The file has been windows\system32\system. Y at - it a copy of the file system anywhere on the hard drive. If I can find it so I can fix it. PS I tried to answer a previous question, I posted, but couldn't witout recording a second time.

Hi Garry,

Looking for a folder named I386 on your hard drive. It must contain a copy of the installation of the system files and you should be able to copy your file system corrupted from there.

Disable McAfee siteadvisor and check the problem persists or not?

  • Error Msg received on the tab open: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

Very simple - the following error message appears when I open a new tab with a web page or empty:
EXC in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

Please see the solution in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions
    "McAfee Site Advisor.

(Windows): for best results, you need to uninstall McAfee Site Advisor from Control Panel > add/edit programs (programs and features). Restart the system. Then http://www.siteadvisor.com/ reinstalling and reboot the system. Installation of other waste (crapware) suggested applications.

In the last few days I've been doing the following popup when I use firefox as my browser: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

I guess it comes from your last update. I have windows vista with a 64-bit processor, and I use the latest version of firefox. I checked to see if I was getting the same error message with explore and I'm not. It seems to be some sort of conflict with java script. This can be corrected?

You have to remove and re - install anything. I had the same problem and simply disabled the McAfee Siteadvisor module without deleting. I then restarted Firefox and the problem was solved.

But here's the important part: I reactivated the add-on and then restarted Firefox twice. The problem is not returned!

Just so disable, reboot, re-enable and restart. It worked for me!

  • What is good for Satellite L300 recovery CD?

I recently bought "Toshiba Satellite L300" which had the Windows 7 operating system, but the recovery CD was Windows XP.
And my hard drive was the only partition and Microsoft office was not working on this laptop and I used this CD to solve these problems.

But I lost my previous Windows 7.

Now, it's Windows Xp SP 3 on my computer.
But I'm not satisfied with the XP Windows 7 fault.

How can I get it again for free?

Please let me know what is good for "Toshiba Satellite L300" recovery CD. ?

    > I recently bought "Toshiba Satellite L300" which had the Windows 7 operating system but the recovery CD was Windows XP.

Hmm, that's strange, I don't have any idea of what Satellite L300 is, but generally a L300 series has been pre-installed with Vista Home Premium

So I m wondering why Win 7 came preinstalled and why you get the Win XP Recovery disk

Usually the L300 should be equipped with a HARD drive recovery partition containing the image of Toshiba.
It should be able to recover the notebook using the recovery of HARD drive and this should help you to reinstall the Vista operating system.

In my opinion that you should talk with your dealer maybe that the laptop was a replacement unit?
    Who knows

  • Variable with a value. «PURGE error: bad Argument Type.»

Hi, my 50G calculator accuses a value for the variable 'X' but I can't find it in any directory, and when I try to delete I get the message "' PURGE error: bad Argument Type." " I also have the theta variable with the same problem. How can I remove the value of these variables? TKS

In addition to Make suggestions, two other possibilities come to mind: 'X' can be a directory object (which would cause the error to the wrong Type of Argument because non-empty directory objects cannot be purged by PURGE, but must be purged by PGDIR), or it could be a local variable (which can only be served by putting an end to the environment that created which is usually a program).  So if Make suggestions don't work, try foster 'X' PGDIR and if that does not work, try KILL (which ends all the current environments).

If those WHO do not work, please do 'X' TYPE HOME and tell us what object type 'X'.

DISCLAIMER: I do not work for HP; I'm a happy user of HP Calculator.

    Hello!

On your BSOD, you can search the Knowledge Base Microsoft for this question. You can find good descriptions how to solve problems.
I searched for you and founded this interesting link:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314063/

As for the other problems I can say not easy to understand because s he s is not English but I think that the reason for this is the BSOD so try to solve this first.

  • Error BAD POOL HEADER when trying to open AOL

Whenever I try to open aol 9.5 my system crashes with an error BAD-POOL-HEADER

    HiTimbo7,

A pool header problem is a problem with the allocation of memory for Windows. Device driver problems are probably the most common, but it can have various causes, including defective or other writing problems disc and problems with some routers. (In theory, RAM problems would be suspect for pool memory problems).

    Method 1:

To resolve this problem, you need to add AOL under the prevention of execution of data and to check whether the problem is resolved, follow these steps mentioned below.

    a. open the start menu.
    b. right click on computer, then click Properties.
    c. click on advanced system settings. (in the upper left green area)
    d. click on the button continue in the UAC prompt.
    e. click the button settings in terms of Performance.

    f. click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
    g. turn on DEP for essential programs of Windows Vista only and Services

NOTE: This will turn on DEP for only the 32-bit system programs and services. It is the default setting.
    (A) dot turn on DEP for the most part the programs Windows and services only.

    (B) proceed to step 9.
    h. turn on DEP for all programs and Services except for those that you select.

NOTE: This enables DEP for all 32-bit programs with the exception of those that you add to the list. The program listed will have DEP off for her.

    (A) dot turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

    (B) click on add to add the programs (32-bit) that you do not want to use the DEP feature.

    (C) navigate to the file AOL.exe of the program you want to add to the DEP exclusion list and select it, then click Open.

    i. click OK to apply.

    j. restart the computer to apply the changes.

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

If the problem persists then I suggest you try the cleanboot.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

Follow this link provided below to start your computer in safe mode.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If the problem persists in safe mode then I suggest you to perform a system restore on your computer back to the settings work correctly.
