  • You will need to read and write permissions on the Adobe folders manually.

  Please follow the steps below:

  • Right-click on the icon in the Finder and select the 'Go - To' folder option.
  • You will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. (Don't miss ~ symbol)
    • ~/Library
  • Then go to the Application Support > Adobe.
  • Right-click on the Adobe folder, then select the GetInfo.
  • Expand the section sharing & permissions.
  • Click on the padlock icon in the lower corner on the right. Enter your administrator user name and password when you are prompted, and then click OK.
  • Please click on '+' symbol, it will open the list of user accounts.
  • Add all of the user accounts and then give permission to "Read & write" to all user accounts. (If not agree, just add currently logged in username and administrator)
  • Click the gear icon and select apply to closed. Close the dialog box for information.
  • Then launch Lightroom application and check.

  I can't create a new folder under libraries/photos. I have several folders and subfolders, but lately when I try to create a new folder directly in 'photos', I get a "file system 512 error."   OK, let's try again.

  Go to the images of C:\Users\Public\Public folder. Create a new folder in the folder public photo.

  Now go back to the photo library and see if this new folder appears here.

  The missing class is javax/ejb/FinderException
  Download one of the jars at the bottom of the site and add it to the classpath. Build ear once again, and then restart the server.

• Thread: 11gPS2: error in creating the model of wsdl when creating a WebService

  Hello
  I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using Jdev.I am using a WSDL file in my local system for the same. I choose all the default options, but the proxy is not created due to the following error:
  "Error creating the model of wsdl < wsdl_name >: a class/interface with the xyz name already in use.

  I found a few threads that had similar problems, but the solutions did not work for me-
  1)creation of wsdl error model (create model projects for proxies, since in the existing model of project files I had already generated using the created a WebServiceData control assistant)
  2)Error creating Web Service Proxy (there are none of the variables in double or patterns in my wsdl)
  
  Please can anyone suggest what could be bad?

  When you create a proxy, give the name of the package in the "Specify Default Mapping Options" window and continue.
  You will be able to create the proxy now.

• Cannot get beyond error 0x8024D007 when trying to get Windows Update or Microsoft Update

  I tried to get the Windows Update and Microsoft Update on a Windows XP computer as well, but I got the error 0x8024D007 with both.  In view of this error message on your site, I did the registry fix and still no change.

  It took me awhile, but I found a solution that worked for me.

  1. Remove Service Pack 3 - if in Control Panel , you do not have an option delete, just Start, run and type: c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe

  After removing SP3 restart. Now, go to Windows Update and it should load fine. Go ahead and install high priority updates and reboot again.

  2. reinstall Service Pack 3 - it is better to just download the .exe for SP3 file and run it from the machine rather than using Windows Update to download and install. Before you try to run the .exe however, go ahead and avoid the "Access denied" error by typing this command in a command prompt window:

  secedit/configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb/verbose (Pay attention to the spaces)

  Now you can reinstall the SP3 and Windows Update should work again. If you get hooked to the last part of the installation which is "Scene cleanup", make sure that you have given him enough time to finish (a few hours) then simply open the the Task Manager and end of the process. Reboot, and you're good to go.

  * This fix also worked on a Server 2003 that had the same problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled SP2 using the same method. It is now up and running and pulling on the updates.
