  Have not be able to start Lightroom Dungeon error changing modules. I reinstalled bright room, tried to change the permissions, trashing preferences.  Repair preferences I tried, I changed today still operating system to Maverick. I'm on a Mac mini, please help.

  OK, well finally had righted things. It is a week long event. You would think that it would be easier. the reason why my LR5 became error Module was because the program permissions were not set right. If you want to try this solution here is the map

  Open finder

  in main menu, select go > go to folder

  Enter the folder Support

  under bottom of sharing and permissions right click on the lock to open the lock

  then change all these names for reading and writing

  then lock and restart LR

  If who disobeys there is another folder to change

  Follow the same map as above, but this time type

  ~ support folder

  WAIT, I forgot some steps

  After you type application Support

  Right-click on the adobe folder

  and select information

  then unlock so that you can change the permissions, change them and then

  the most important part!

  Click on the gear icon

  and apply the changes

  then re lock and re start LR

  unlock and change all names to read the lock write and try again LR.

  that has solved the problem of "error trying to change modules".

  I work for a company that provides mobile content for handsets and have you encountered a problem when the combinations of Jad/Jar for BlackBerry handsets. In most cases, the files we delivery are the Jad/Cod files, we have no problem with.

  The first problem we had is the Jad files, which we received from our suppliers have been referencing cod files which we have not been sent. We were sent only the Jar file. We have removed all RIM - COD... lines of the file Jad and the problem was resolved. On delivery, the MIDLET-JAR-URL is dynamically modified to point to a page on our site that provides the content, as explained below.

  However, when we tried to install two different applications (the two combinations of Jad/Jar) for a handset, we received the error message: "[App2] contains a module called [WebpageName]. A module with this name already exists in the application [App1]. If you continue, [App1] will be replaced by [App2]. "

  We deliver our streaming content to valid requests to a single web page. Unique QueryString parameters determine which files are provided to ensure that our content is secure. The [WebpageName] in the error is the name of the Web page that all files are delivered, IE: http://www.someurl.com/ [WebpageName] .aspx? foo = bar & this = who

  This causes us some problems when clients try to download multiple of these applications/games.

  I looked at the following article, which unfortunately did not help:

  I had to create a work around for the problem. I thought I would post it in case it helps anyone:

  In IIS, I created a Custom 404 error that redirects to the page [WebpageName]. I then used the file name of the Jar file to create the URL in Jad so the module name is taken with respect to the individual application.

  Example: The MIDLET-JAR-URL in Jad line is changed:

  From: [WebpageName] http://www.someurl.com/ .aspx? foo = bar & what =

  To: http://www.someurl.com/ [FileName] .app? foo = bar & what =

  By default, I have replace the .app extension so that it is not a type of file in IIS.

  Hope this helps someone else.

  . This has happened for quite awhile and I tried many suggestions on the web. If you do an internet search, you will see this seems to be a fairly common problem, but I can't find any official solution of Microsoft. I am afraid that I do not receive the latest updates and security patches so would like to help with this question.

  Hi guys

  I had installed up-to-date antivirus software and my problem seems to start after an update from Microsoft. Do a search on the web and you will see similar stories. I spent so much time trying to solve this I think it's better just to do a re-install. Certainly not the resolution I had hoped, but appreciate this type of questions are almost impossible to solve the problems through intermittent mail such messages.

• I DELETED SOME MODULES OF LIGHTROOM, BUT DEVELOP AND LIBRARY

  There are several versions eventually 3.6, I deleted many of the modules in lightroom, all except the LIBRARY and to the POINT.

  Now I need them all. I installed 4.4, but the modules are not returned to the top of the window of LR.

  I don't remember where I have stored on my HD or what their names are and believe I have reinstalled my system since then anyway.

  Is there anyway I can change my preferences, or something and then reinstall LR in order to get the complete list of modules, SLIDESHOWS, etc.

  Of course, I have my catalog saved, but perhaps this can be done simply.

  At the time where I got a goal, but now I want the features of the program.

  Simply right-click (Windows) in the left bar remaining modules and you will see a list context dropdown you can reactivate the rest of the modules.

• Lightroom 5.6 and Yosemite 10.10 final

  For those who don't have not upgraded to Yosemite yet, you might want to wait until Apple and/or Lightroom released a maintenance release.  I find LR very slow after the release of Yosemite.  I get the spinning wheel of waiting after each brush stroke, harvest, etc. This behavior has continued even after stop/restart of the operating system.

  My setup is Yosemite 10.10, the last LR (5.6 I think), iMac 2012, not sure of the ram, but I bump the RAM upward when I bought the computer. Also a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet.  Outside the PS which I have not tried yet since the update, everything else outside LR seems to work ok.

  I'm sure what the glitch, Apple or Adobe will take care of it, shortly.  But if anyone has suggestions on what to do to bypass the bottleneck in the meantime would be appreciated.

  I have the same setup with Yosemite and have no problems with a spinning wheel. My iMac (2011) is a 27-inch with 16 GB of ram. which is the maximum for this machine. I'm on a subscription with Photoshop CC (2014) and LightRoom 5.6. You can clear your cache, because this could be the problem.  I make mine from time to time when it reaches about 800 to 900 mb.

  (Newly) installed Dreamweaver does not recognize my server (ftp.jakkoke.com). Check the firewall (no problem), other ftp programs that work fine, old version of Dreamweaver - works but not with Mac os 10.10 Yosemite. Implemented irs.guv - new Dreamweaver communicates with this and other FTP sites very well. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. What should I do?

  Please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Quit Dreamweaver runs.
  2. Go to the Spotlight (magnifying glass icon on the far right of the menu bar) and type "keychain". Locate the "Keychain Access" application, then click on to start.
  3. In Keychain Access, you should see a list of keychain items.  Look in the 'Name' column for an affected item named with the name of the Site from your site. It will look something like this: ' sitename-SiteServer 0. It will also say 'application password' in the column 'Genre '.
  4. Click the item to select. You should see a few properties of the Keychain item appears at the top of the Keychain Access window. As a double check, make sure that the value for the 'account' is the name of the FTP user.  If this isn't the case, then you can have the wrong item.
  5. Once you are happy, you have the correct item, and it is selected, press the delete key to remove it. Leave the application open for now.
  6. Start Dreamweaver, go to the "Manage Sites" dialog (Site > Manage Sites...) and modify the affected site. Click on the servers section and double-click the server in the list to edit it.
  7. Enter the FTP username and password, and then click Save to close the editing server box and click on save again to close the site box.
  8. You should now see that a new element of Keychain has been created in Keychain Access (it must have the same name).
  9. You can quit Keychain Access and Dreamweaver now and then restart Dreamweaver and check if it works now without having to re - enter the FTP details.

  Please let us know if you still face problems.

  I had a problem when I'm experiementing the code example in the semantic oracle developer guide. the sample is to update a modules-family_rb:

  in the last line, the where clause, the name of the rule (GRANDPARENT_RULE) is a capital letter; but it's tiny, when I inserted in modules. However, when I updated the modules by using the name of tiny rule, I got ' 0 inserted row"which means nothing updated. and, the following query returns the wrong result. However, if I've updated modules by using the name of rule of capital letters, I ' 1 inserted row"and the result of the query is correct. I thought that the uppercase and lowercase should made no difference. can someone tell me why the results are different? Thanks in advance.

  When a rule is inserted in a rules database, his name will be stored as all capitals.
  So what you have observed is expected.

  If you don't want to change the name of the rule manually, you can probably do something
  Like this:

  UPDATE mdsys.semr_family_rb SET
  background = ' (? x: parentOf? y) (? y: parentOf? z) (? z: height? h)'.
  filter = ' (h > = 6)',
  alias = SEM_ALIASES (SEM_ALIAS (", 'http://www.example.org/family/'))

• Error file corrupted with Lightroom 2 & Windows 7

  I bought a new desktop computer with Windows 7 and Lightroom 2 is installed. I also moved my files to the new machine, and whenever I try to access the raw files, I get the message that the files are invalid or damaged. Even if I try to download again from the camera, he tells me the same thing. I am able to view those same files via the software provided with the camera Canon. I was able to work with these same files when I got Lightroom installed on an XP machine. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Is the version of LR on the last version 2.x (2.7) win7? If you have an earlier version of LR and your camera is fairly recent, maybe you just need to update to the latest version to get support for your camera.

  I had Adobe Lightroom on a Mac that crashed a few days ago. It turns on and I tried to find someone to fix it but that was uncessful. I bought a new computer and I want to move to my new Lightroom. Is there anyway that I can do this? (I don't have the CD, but I have the serial number and I also recorded my product.) Any help?
